Polly promised to save the child of the woman who once saved her. With little money and no job prospects, failure looms. Her only option is to travel two thousand miles west to a man she’s been writing a short time in the dead of winter. But how will her prospective groom react when his mail-order bride appears uninvited on his doorstep with a three-year-old orphan?
EXTENDING GRACE TO OTHERS I loved this inspirational mail-order bride story that has heartache, acceptance, trust, faith and forgiveness. Polly has had a hard life, placed in an orphanage at the age of three by her mother and kicked out at eighteen. A train trip that turns tragic changed her life even more when her friend loses her life and leaves Polly to raise three-year-old, Edwina. Archie and Polly had been exchanging letters, what happens when she shows up in Montana with a child? How will his mother accept Polly and Edwina? The plot kept me captivated and the pages turning of this quick read novella. It has charming characters, emotional dialog and heartwarming moments. Disclosure: I received an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions, and ratings are my own.
