An age-old prophecy of global devastation is about to be fulfilled.
Hunted since childhood over his preternatural powers, Orano Tulay hides behind a surly attitude and antisocial demeanor. He joined the Omega Group to protect mankind, but the latest threat involves claims of witchcraft that sound outlandish even to a man like him.
Forces of magic are being used to manipulate forces of nature, exploiting humankind’s greatest weakness and unleashing chaos. Face-to-face with a three-hundred-year-old coven of witches led by a power-hungry high priestess, Orano must expose himself to risk like never before. As if that isn’t bad enough, he discovers one of the coven members is his first love—the girl he left behind more than a decade ago.
Orano must prevent the high priestess from succeeding in her quest for world domination, but first he’ll need to keep his own demons at bay.
Born and raised near Toronto, Canada, Andrea Domanski moved south to get away from the cold as soon as she could—snow is not her friend. She now lives in Savannah, Georgia with her husband, Mark, their two incredible children, and their Golden Doodles.
After selling her very boring business in 2012, Andrea focused her energies on raising her children and finding a new career path that excited her. It wasn't long before she decided writing a novel—something she'd always wanted to do—would be her next big adventure. And she hasn’t looked back since!
Having not read any previous books in the series, there were a few references that did not make sense, but i plan to rectify that ASAP. I was given this book as an ARC and loved it! The story-line was great and I felt for all the characters in their pain etc. I like the writing style as it is easy reading and flows nicely. I had never heard of this author before and will add her to my favourites list.
The book is highly recommended and for those who like action, this is for you!
Definitely took a different turn than the last books in the series. I like how Domamski sort of switches things up between the character's stories across the books but they're still all linked and all make sense. This installment had a lot to do with witches and with Orano's story. I already have the next book and am glad to move on to read it!
This was another good book in the Omega Group series. This book involved witchcraft and a plot for world domination. It is interesting to watch the relationships between characters grow and develop, as well as meeting new characters. I found the lead character of this novel, Orano Tulay, fascinating. I loved the descriptions of his upbringing and childhood. I listened to the Audible audio version of this book narrated by David Dietz. I liked the narrator's character differentiation and his Scottish accent for the character, Myrick. I don't love his voices for some of his female characters 100%, but they are better in this book than in some others. Overall, this is an interesting book that would be great for fans of supernatural urban fantasy.
This is a light but entertaining series. This one has a coven of witches at the center instead of the usual Greek gods (although they do make a cameo appearance). And as usual a different member of the team is featured, and finds a love interest. A very quick read.
Good read witches good and bad have to be dealt with and orang falls in love I love that the books not only highlight one member of omega but also work together
