Everything about Tony screams Playboy… …from his clothes… …to his apartment… …to the car he drives. He’s smooth…and he knows it. So, when he meets Olivia, an executive at a company that can advance his career, he puts his charms into overdrive. This will be easy, she doesn’t stand a chance…, Olivia knows all about guys like Tony. …she knows he only pursues stick thin model types…they don't give plus-size women a second glance... …so why is he suddenly interested in her? She’s no model. And she certainly ain’t thin! She’s no fool…he’s only interested because she can help his career. She’s hip to the game…she can spot a player a mile away… …but she LOVES bad boys …and a challenge. She’ll let him think he’s in control, but soon, he won’t know what hit him… she’ll make him forget those skinny girls…and then she’ll move on. Two people come together, each with an agenda. They think they have life figured out…then something happens that changes everything!

First off, one thing that I did completely enjoy about this book was that Olivia was a bigger woman. But it wasn’t a central part of the book, you knew what she looked like and that was it. I really liked that there wasn’t a lot of attention put on her body, because there is more to her than just that.
I LOVED watching the playboy fall to his knees. That was awesome!!! As for that part also, I’m very glad that Hugh thought to include that Tony did try to have “relations” with another woman and he had his “issues”. By including that part into the story, it showed that Tony did actually have feelings towards Olivia and he wasn’t just thinking with his “parts”.
I also loved the fact that Olivia was completely comfortable with her body and she didn’t care what anyone else thought about it. Her being successful was based upon her work and not just her looks. It was fun reading about her trying to resist Tony, but realizing that she didn’t want to be without him.
All in all, I was completely happy with this book and I enjoyed it immensely!! I can’t wait to read more from Hugh in the future.
I received this book as a free download from Story Cartel. This was a very enjoyable book for me. It was a sweet and easy read that was just right for reading while laying by the pool on a lazy summer day. I also liked the point made by the author that good things can come to you when you think more about others than about yourself. A good lesson to live by. I will read more by this author.
I loved the story but I didn't like the ending. I'm not sure if the author left it this way on purpose. I was looking for an ending. The book ended in the middle of a story.
I liked the confidence in the heroine in this book. I didnt think I was going to like the male; however, he turned out to be a nice guy. I believe his change of heart and thus lifestyle took a unrealistic turn too quickly. But the book is a nice quick read. I'm still not sold on the fact that I paid for this book. But any book with a bbw and a good plot is worth it.
Once again Hugh does an outstanding job on characterization and plot. Details were immaculate throughout. I was so drawn in to the relationship with Tony & Olivia, I was kind of disappointed with the ending. I would have liked more closure. I found it a bit abrupt. But over all, very pleasant read.
A great short read. I enjoyed the realistic feel I got while reading Green Eyes and Good Hair. I really felt as if I was hanging out with all of the characters and in the conversation! A great read for any fans of the genre looking for something good and different to sink their eyes into :)
Olivia is a successful career woman. A single one that has yet to find and settle down with a good man. She’s getting a bit of pressure from her father because of it. He wants her to settle down and no longer be alone. But is she ready for it?
Tony is the type of guy that plays the field (so to speak). It’s what he knows. He has many…conquests and he’s also used to having full control when it comes to the bedroom and every other situation in whatever relationship he is on. For some reason this woman has him out of control. Doing things he’s never done and finding himself lost when he’s not around her.
My only complaint is I wish it was a bit longer. I REALLY want more of these two! Love their story and chemistry :)
