He closed the gap between us and kissed me, and I was instantly plunged into paradise. It was the most pleasurable sensation I had ever felt. I was kissing my Alpha.

Find out if they can help each other in this standalone novella with a HEA. No cheating, no cliffhangers. Inside, you'll find a brave Alpha, an Omega ready for his first time, and plenty of sugar and spice.
We can do this, Dylan. We can move forward. We can start a life together.
The book had a good premise, but the execution was lacking. The writing felt flat and missed emotion. When reading the dialogs I sometimes had the feeling I was reading a newspaper. A real shame!
This was a entertaining read but not as good as it could have been. I struggled with how to rate this. While the story was good and individual parts like the wedding were enjoyable I was wishing that the two main characters had individual voices. We get their stories through alternating chapters labeled with their names but their internal monologue and reactions seem exactly the same. There were also some instances where Dylan is talking to his father or Mary Ann that the dialogue is a little stilted. The mpreg piece is all off screen and handled through an epilogue (for those that love the nitty-gritty of pregnancy).
A good read, though not overly powerful. Dylan is an alpha wolf set to marry his BFF, when he meets Gabriel, and omega and his fated mate. Only problem is Dylan's never heard about fated mates. What follows is how Dylan turns his mind around the problem and proceeds to claim his omega. There's a tiny bit of action that arises from Gabriel's past.
Overall, the story sort of plodded along. A few funny lines, but nothing that jumped out at me and said Wow.
Dylan is so brave for finally doing what is true to him. He got what he wished for the most when he decided to love who was meant to and not who he was told to.
