A while back I bought this series and started reading it. I wasn’t really into the first book but left the series on my e-reader. I eventually went back to it and read the second book and found myself starting to like the story and enjoy the characters a bit more but again I finished book 2 and didn’t read the next book in the series for a while. The thing was I never deleted the series from my reader, so I kept going back when I had nothing to read. Once I came to book 3, the story started to really grab my attention. The characters had layers, and issues and it became interesting and entertaining. Book 4 was read within a week! It was like something just switched in book 3 and from there on it was great. If you’re reading my review despite my feelings of book 1 and 2, I’ll still recommend them to read because those first two books introduce you to the characters and the overarching issues and themes that carry through each book.

An Epic story of a HOT NEW ROCK BAND, on the edge of falling over the cliff.
Lush is the hot new band to make it big, but a secret can destroy what these 4 friends built since high school. Guilt, hidden secrets, alcohol, and 4 friends who are family, might have their world torn out from under them in a blink of an eye.
Joss and Mel, start you off with a story how love at first sight is possible. They try hard to stay together, but the guilt that is eating at her sister Tammy is enough. When Walsh's drinking was taking control, Joss and Tammy made things happen, and put Walsh in rehab. One night, one mistake has changed them both forever. Sleeping together was a BIG mistake, and could cost them everything. They held it together for a long time with guilt eating them up inside. Tammy is going crazy and ends up in the hospital,then Mike lets out the secret of Tammy and Joss, everything is shattered. The band, friendships, and a long time relationship. Joss wants Mel, and wants forgiveness for everything, and Tammy just wants Walsh back. Mel wants Joss, but wants her sister to get better. It takes patience, and a little time to convince Mel that Joss wants her more than anything.
Walsh and Tammy come next in the series where you go on a journey with them in hopes that they can fix their relationship after so many years. Tammy tries her hardest, but when she realizes Walsh isn't the man she wants knew, she finds that Jenny Turner is the next up and coming signer. She decides Jenny is going to be her next big artist, and takes Jenny under her wing with the help of Mike. While Mike is trying to help Walsh come to terms with everything going on. He wants nothing to do with Tammy at the moment, but when Tammy finds out more news, Walsh heads home to track her down.
Mike and Jenny are next. Jenny is the preachers daughter, and Mike is the MAN WHORE. While living in Texas with Walsh to help with his recovery, and everything, Mike meets Jenny, and they become close. Close enough that Mike vows not to touch Jenny, but Jenny wants Mike more than she can think. After a tough journey, and a long road to stardom, it takes Tammy, and a old classmate to light the fire under Mike's butt to go after what he wants, and what he wants is JENNY TURNER.
Colin & Marsha wrap up a few things with this series. Colin and Marsha used to be sweethearts back in OK. While dating Marsha ends up pregnant, and freaks out. She tells Colin she isn't ready, and decides for herself that she needs to have an abortion. Colin freaks and splits. While getting kicked out of her house by her strict mother, Marsha comes across a homeless shelter, and an angel. A angel known as Colin's mom. She helps Jenny, and when it was time to abort, she couldn't do it. Wanting to tell Colin, he was long gone, and she decided to have the baby. While at an appointment, Marsha found out the baby would have heath issues, and with the support of Colin's mom, went through with it. Now years later, Colin and Jenny reunite, and the strange feeling of unanswered questions looms around them. Marsha was married, and now has a son. Colin does everything he can to get close to her again, and when her son takes to him, he can't seem to let go.
While Colin and Jenny are trying to make it work, and struggle trying, Colin and the guys of Lush have business to take care of. He flies back and forth, and with the help of their manager, and some loyal band members, LUSH becomes something much bigger.
This is a story that touches you in every way possible. I love it, and think everyone should read this. It takes you on one hell of a journey, and while you hope for one thing, it sometimes doesn't go that way, but in the end, everything seems to pan out.

This is an epic journey that starts with friendship and grows into a brotherhood that becomes a rock band extraordinaire by the name of Lush. If you've ever wondered about the private lives of rich and famous musicians this collection is a fascinating read. Living large and in charge seems appealing from the outside looking in, but Joss, Walsh, Mike and Colin are about to find out just how fast everything they've worked for can fall apart. I have to admit that I was totally turned off by the way these guys treat women; both the ones they use for their own pleasure and those they claim to love. This author writes complex and flawed characters you might not like at first glance but I guarantee you will come to admire them and love the strong willed and courageous women who love them, faults and all. This is gritty storytelling that has heartache, humor and lots of sexy romance.

This is one of the best rockstar series I have ever read (and I read a lot of rock star romances). I reviewed each book separately. Each book was a 5 star read for me except book 3 (4.5 stars) where the couple's faithfulness seemed to be short lived during times of separation. Great job Selena Laurence.

Well written, but couldn't keep focused on the series. Felt like the tension was forced too much throughout the books.

Okay, but not anything all that memorable.
This series started out decently with Joss and Mel's story, but for me it kind of went downhill after that. The books are kind of uneventful with a barely there conflict in the final couple of chapters that is resolved almost instantly.

Wonderful series about a rock band and their significant others and their families. Interesting characters with stories that build on each other and show the growth of the characters through the time-frame of the series. Deals with some major issues that expose the gritty world of a band going from the top of the world to a crash to rising like a phoenix.
Each book in the Lush series focuses on one couple with an HEA. However, the books build on each other and should be read in order to get the full enjoyment out of the series.

Awesome series
What I loved most about this series is that the first book is while they are on tour so you get an inside look at that,but the other three books are about what happens after the band is no longer together. How each of their lives is effected by the breakup and what they do to move on. I've read several other rock band books and this one is so much more. You can't help but fall in love with each character.

I absolutely loved this series. There were so many times I wanted to scream, laugh, cry, and smile. That to me makes a good book. I loved all the members of Lush. Hated to see it end definitely going to have a book hangover for days.

Love it !
It was an emotional roller coaster but I loved every minute. I laughed, cried and was on edge in suspense. I love the characters too. Great stories.
