While this book is an easy read, it is an overview only and does nothing to help new beekeepers understand the importance of every aspect of keeping and tending bees. Great for someone who isn’t sure if they want bees as it will spark enough questions to hopefully help them sign up for a beginner course!
All the tools and procedures involved In raising bees are covered. Good quick source of information. This would be my starting point and would delve deeper into each topic with discussions.
A short book which doesn’t really go into enough depth. I bought it expecting to learn about beekeeping but it only scratches the surface. I really wish he’d written more.
