I did not enjoy this book at all!
Linc is obsessed with a porn star, Claire's sister who was, however, incidental to the story. Even though the whole story was based on getting Mandy out of trouble, we actually get to see very little of her. Both Claire and Mase have very little interaction with Mandy and considering what they were both prepared to do financially to get Mandy out of her predicament, both were not there emotionally.
The whole story was a little depressing and disjointed. I couldn't see why Linc fell in love with Claire but I did skim read this book as I was bored, particularly with the 'love' scenes as they felt mechanical.
Nope, definitely not for me and I've loved these books up to this point.

Linc was the third book in the Cocky Cage Fighter series by Lane Hart.
We met MMA Fighter and four time Welterweight Champion Lincoln “Linc” Abrams in the previous book, Jude. And we learned that not only was he a great fighter, he was basically a good guy and really helped out Sadie when she needed it the most. But we also learned he was addicted to porn, or a specific porn star, Eve Kelly.
Claire Reed was the loyal sister to Mandy, aka Eve Kelly. And Mandy stayed high and not always functioning well so Claire, who looked like Eve’s twin, filled in at promotional events when needed. Claire was the innocent, inexperienced sister - the loyal one who had the sound mind to keep both her siblings out of trouble.
Linc decided he needed to get over his addiction to Eve Kelly and the best way to do that was to meet her and learn that the fantasy was so much better than the reality. And it would have worked well, had he met the real Eve. Instead, unbeknownst to him, he met Claire and the story began.
Hart took us through the introduction and the initial development while the stage was set between the two. As expected, the sex was steamy. There was also a dark theme running through the storyline. No spoilers so no elaboration, but it was a little hard to take at times. But in the end, I liked Linc and Claire together.
We also picked up another fighter along the way, Claire’s brother, Mason, and he’s up next in Mace.

Damn. Every time i read one of Lane Hart's books i have to read it in one sitting.
From the first page i fell in love with Linc. He had me panting.
I honestly told myself I'll read a couple of chapters before bed then I'll go to sleep.. but it's now 1.05 in the morning and I'm looking at a finished book.
I was the exact same way with Jude.
Lane Hart completely blew my expectations away for Linc's story that it shocked me when i looked down and saw i have read 50% of the book already.
It sucked me in so much that i have done nothing but sit and read this book start to finish.
I can't wait for Mace's book!!!!

I was given an ARC for an honest review. I will start off saying that I Should have read the blurb first because I was thinking wtf is going on here, lol. It was another unique story line that I have never seen and it was GREAT! Everyone is use to the MMA fighter man-whores and what not, but a fighter obsessed with a porn star, hah, loved how it all played out. And Detective Fury...I want to know his story only because that is a kick-butt name for a detective!

This took me a really long time to finish I just didn't enjoy it like I thought I was. One thing that I loved about this author was that the drama was to a minimum but not with this it was just all over the place. When I knew Linc was getting a book I was excited about it. Felt he was going to bring a funny sexy alpha male into the mix but nope he is obsessed with a porn star just didn't work for me. I also found myself missing Jax and Page a lot. I kept wondering what was going on with them.

With the success of the previous book in the series for me, I was really looking forward to this installment and it didn't disappoint! I loved Linc, he really was an endearing character, even with his obsession with "Eve". Claire was a good character as well, though I didn't care for how she wound up lowering her inhibitions to have a physical relationship with Linc. I loved how close she was with her brother and what ended up happening with the situation with her sister in order to set up the next book in the series. All things considered, this was a great read, and I am eager for the next book in the series.

Linc is a MMA fighter that is obsessed with porn start Eve Kelly. He thinks if he just meets her once it will end his obsession. Finding out that she will be at an event at a strip club he makes plans with some friends to go and meet her in person. When she comes out on stage he is surprised because she has a look of fear in her eyes and acts like she hasn't done anything like that before. He is still drawn to her but its the side he sees on stage that makes him want to see her even more. He goes to where she'll be signing autographs and hears a douche of a guy offering lap dances for high cash amounts and knows he has to get one from her. When she enters the room she asks how she's supposed to start and he realizes she's never done this before. Telling her to undress and come to him she climbs on his lap and he knows his obsession isn't going to end its only going to get worse.
Claire is Mandy aka Eve Kelly's sister and has been taking care of her all her life. "Eve" keeps getting into trouble that Claire and their brother Mason keep bailing her out of and this was just another clean up Claire was doing. Her sister was passed out due to drugs and couldn't make the appearance at the club so Claire is forced to fill in because they need the cash to make a payment on a debt her sister owes a nasty man. In that one night everything changes for Claire. Terrified about going on stage she used her anger at her sister to get through it only to find out after that the guy making sure her sister is working to pay the debt has been offering lap dancing to the drunks in the club. Being forced to do it she ends up with Linc as her first and only lap dance. They have an intense connection however he thinks she her sister so that puts a damper on things.
Never thinking she'd ever see him again Claire sends the picture she said she paint him via her brother. Linc wants another chance at seeing "Eve" so he agrees to come see mason fight and see if he is Havoc material. Seeing Linc at the fight brings all those feeling back for Claire and she agrees to go to a party to celebrate with him after Mason's fight. Claire struggles to find a way to explain the truth to Linc. When things take a turn at the party and a misunderstanding occurs leading to a scandal that neither Claire or Linc expected.
This book was a great read I love this series. Every character in each of these books comes to life in the pages to where you don't want the story to ever end. I think out of all the characters in this series so far Linc and Claire are my favorites. Strong characters and an mazing story I would recommend this to any book lover. Another 5 star read for me. Lane Hart brings amazing characters to life in every book she writes.

WOW...where do I even begin?? The first two books in this series were both 5 star reads and I loved them so much. But from the minute I met Linc I knew he was gonna be special. In Jude's book when Linc and Jude fought and throughout Jude's book, I KNEW Linc had won my heart. But I never expected to fall into a book and be so totally sucked into the story like I was with this book! Lane Hart you are a fricking genius! The way you unfolded Linc's story, it was like I was watching it play out in real life, instead of reading it in a book! I knew Linc was gonna be sexy and hot and that the sexy time scenes were going to be epic. I knew he was going to be every woman's wet dream and that above all he was going to be a gentleman. But I never expected to actually cry in this book! When I say that Linc is every woman's wet dream, he is also every woman's Price Charming! Every woman's Knight in Shining Armor! All of that wrapped up with a great big bow! It's got to be a BIG bow if it's gonna at least cover up Nessie! So people if your looking for super sexy--check! Looking for funny--check! Looking for sweet and loving--check, check! Looking for a book that will have your panties wet in record time--check! Now if you want ALL of that plus you want to get sucked into a story and almost actually be able to feel like your part of that story......then you need to buy this BOOK! Oh wow where do i start? Linc is obsessed with porn star 'Eve Kelly', so when he sees she's coming to an event, he's determined to go meet her and get her out his system once and for all. Seeing her on stage, it's like she's a different woman, she seems uncomfortable and shy. Paying for a lap dance, Linc can't wait to get up close and personal with 'Eve'.....Except 'Eve' is really passed out on a bed and sister Claire is trying to get through her ordeal to help save her sisters ass. Walking in to give a private dance, Claire isn't expecting the gorgeous, sexy MMA fighter to be the one waiting for her and sparks fly between them. This book has it all, it's hot, sweet, sexy and funny. I was crying with laughter within the first few pages, Linc is a one of a kind, mr all round perfect, kinda guy. Claire is a sweetheart, i loved her character, loved the way she was family first but i could have slapped her for keeping secrets. With a fantastic story that will keep you turning those pages, this is yet another brilliant book from this author. I don't know how she makes each Cocky Cage fighter better than the last but she continues to do so. Another 5 star book i can't wait for the next book

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I have read all three books in this series so far and they just keep getting better. This is the story of Linc and Claire and the huge misunderstanding that gets them started. Linc is an MMA fighter, who even though recovering from an injury, should be on top of the world. He's a former champion, has more money than he knows what to do with and the looks ladies go crazy for, but he has an addiction to a certain adult film actress. So when the chance comes to meet her, he jumps at it. Claire is the oldest of three siblings and has been looking out for her family since their mom passed. She will do anything to help them, even pretending to be her sister, the adult film actress Linc is obsessed with. When the two meet the sparks fly and both are left with a night to remember. When they see each other again, they both are drawn and both are lied to. Finally the stories are straight, but there are still forces hoping to keep them apart. When the dust settles will they be strong enough to find their way back to one another?

couldn't wait for this book to be released! had the date set in my calendar.. was so excited to see it released early & i couldn't wait to read it! I've loved both Jax & Jude's story, and couldn't help but fall in love with linc! This book did not dissapoint in anyway! Amazing story line and soo many unexpected twists! I couldn't put it down, i just had to find out what happened next! Amazing book as always and my love for the series will continue! Roll on the release of Mace's book! I can't wait ♡

Linc is the 3rd book in the Cocky Cage Fighter series. I have read all three, and Linc just might be my favorite! (And I really loved Jax and Jude!!) Linc has an unhealthy addiction and sets out to rid of it for good. There are twists and turns that I never saw coming, and I fell completely head over heals for both Linc and Claire. I could not get enough. I can't wait for Mace's story next!!! Job well done Lane!! You did it again! <3 xoxo

I have read all three books in this series. Each book gets better. I loved how Linc knew he had an addiction and tried to fix it. I loved how Claire was so supportive of her sister and tried to help her. Keep them coming Lane!!!

I was given an ARC for an honest review. Linc like the other books in this series did not disappoint. I was instantly drawn in and could not put it down. Can't wait for more from this series and to get to meet Mace.

Lets get the technical stuff out of the way--I had the privilege of obtaining an ARC in exchange for an honest review. If I don't like a book, I don't finish it. Therefore no review. Linc was read until the beautiful epilogue came to an end. I still looked for more. Like a fine wine, this series just keeps getting better and better. I really liked Jax. Jude touched my heart, but Linc tops them both. If you haven't read this series what is stopping you?? It has romance, challenges, excitement, tension, men fighting with no shirts and getting sweaty, and some really super hot gorgeous drool worthy guys. If I could only use one word to Describe the book, it would be "mesmerizing". With Linc I got humor and lots of finger crossing for the outcome I wanted. I can't begin to express how happy I was when one of my wishes came true. Karma is a meany and its name is Linc. This book has the usual boy meets girl, boy looses girl, boy wins girl back concept. It is how it happens that makes this book so fantastic. From page one I snickered, I giggled, I swooned and I cried. I also got creeped out. One of the characters just gave me the heebie jeebies. Lane's detailed description had me wanting to shower in bleach. Creepy doesn't begin to describe the guy nicknamed Slick Rick by Linc.

Wow this series keeps getting better :)
Absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend Linc to everyone. I love all of Lane Hart's books and Linc's story was outstanding. Many twist and turns but Linc and Claire's tale flowed beautifully. I'm so glad their ending was happy. I loved it from the beginning and didn't want it to end. I need more Linc lol Well Done Lane another brilliant book :) I can't wait for more

Three's a charm
I totally fell for jax in the first book of this series and was then a little disappointed with Jude so I had forgotten about the series until it popped up on my kindle list.
This is a great read full of humour, hot men, great sexy scenes but also some pain too, which made it a great read. I love the sensitive personalities in this story and enjoyed the sneak peak we got of mace's story too.

I think this is the best book in the series so far! I can see how Lane is growing as a writer. There is just a different feel to her writing in this story that wasn't there in the first book, Jax. If you love cocky males that fall hard for their woman & mma fighting her books are the books for you! I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!

I can't wait to read mace's book, I love this series and can't help woundering who next but I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who likes MMA bad boy (softies) who love with everything they got.
I can't wait to read mace's book, I love this series and can't help woundering who next but I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who likes MMA bad boy (softies) who love with everything they got.

When I first this book, I was so enthused - almost went over my 2AM 'curfew'- on a weekday - on my second week of my new job. It was that good. The blurb was excellent, btw.
I was so excited to read about Claire and Linc's interaction at the night club.
Although I did have some reservations on how a shy - albeit beautiful - girl like Claire could strip naked in front of a stranger so easily. I found that kinda bogus.
But anywho, this was a fiction so I tried to let it go.
Basically, the whole book was good. The ending and epilogue ... they were okay but just okay.
There were some things I found a bit disappointing though (because I was expecting more - I had high hopes!):
- Their super fast romance leading up to their 'I love you's -> too hurried, too soon
- There seemed to be no deeper connection between the couple, only physical one
- The Mandy character who was supposed to be one of the 'main character' seemed to be swept under a rug. She was almost non existent.
- I was hoping for more angst. Maybe the h could get pregnant during the couple's separation or something ... without the H knowing which caused him to get mad or something.
- I was wishing the H could be more .... I don't know, rugged, rough, aloof, distant - not super sweet and kind

Seriously in Love with This Series
I love “Linc,” but then again, I knew I would when author Lane Hart first introduced him to readers in Book 2 of the Cocky Cage Fighter series of romantic novellas. An MMA champion, Linc Abrahms is gorgeous, sweet, and far more sensitive than many would believe, having suffered a devastating loss at the age of 19. When he meets the beautiful, hardworking Claire Reed, he believes she’s someone else, but there is no mistaking their instant, visceral attraction. There are so many cards stacked against this couple that their HEA is a hard-fought battle filled with danger, tragedy, tears, and awws, but the tough spots make the giggles and pearl-clutching moments that much sweeter. And oh those sexy bits… As with the earlier stories, Hart weaves previous characters into the tale in meaningful ways and introduces us to new favorites (I, for one, am a pretty big fan of Claire’s baby brother and aspiring cage fighter, Mason), creating anticipation for each new book in the series. And the fight scenes are so well-written that I can picture exactly what’s happening in my mind. So, so, so good, Lane Hart!

Linc by Lane Hart a superhero worthy five star read. This is the third book in the Cocky Cage fighter series, they can be read as stand-alone reads but they do read better as a series in my eyes as each book we get a little more of the overall story, we get to see the guys from Havok pop up in each other’s stories, and sometimes we see more than a little pop up.
Lincoln ‘Linc Abrams is an MMA fighter who until his last fight where he got injured was a world champion, now he is stuck at home helping a friend get over a broken heart and allowing his obsession to take over his life. See Little Linc has a habit and its starting to take over his life, what started out as something to help him get over a broken heart, watch a little porn to mask the pain became something so much more all because of her ‘Eve Kelly’. When it comes to a head he decides that if he just meets her, maybe he can get her out of his system.
Claire Reed has always done anything possible to help her little brother and sister, she would go to the ends of the earth for them, and even went across country once so they could dip their toes in the beach because she thought it was the best thing, so when her little sister Mandy isn’t able to perform for her job, as Mandy is due at a club to perform as ‘Eve Kelly’. Claire knows they need the money so she dresses as her sister and puts on a show for them, they look alike so no one would know the difference, and even though Claire would never behave like this, she feels like she has no other choice as Mandy isn’t fit for performing and they need the money that badly she can’t say no. Just how far would you be able to go for family? All is going okay until she is done, thinking she is home free she gets another offer too good to refuse, a private dance for an MMA fighter. A dance is all it is, isn’t it?
What will happen when Linc is faced with what he thinks is reality? And will Claire ever be able to help her brother and sister in the way they need? Or will someone need to help her before it’s too late for her?

This story had a different take than the norm but I quite enjoyed it. Linc and Claire enter into a relationship just by chance. Another sweet fun romance.
