CONSUMED Part Two

Rate this book
One stepbrother, three stepsisters. But only one will steal his heart.

Sierra
How can one man be so sexy and alluring and then turn around and make me want to hunt him down and kill him? Cole Harris is that man. He’s been on my mind ever since our parents got married. We had a close encounter during the reception. I escape with my dignity intact. But only just. One more second and I would have been his play-thing . For the span on that night. Then I would have been discarded like all his other female toys.
But, I’m not like those other woman. I have some integrity, enough to hold him at arm’s length. At least until my mom and stepdad come back from their honeymoon. Then I will be safe. Safe from Cole. Safe from his advances. Safe from my own reckless heart . The one that wants to surrender to him, to give him everything. But, if I do, and he walks away from me? I don’t think I could survive that kind of hurt.

Cole
She is driving me crazy ! I’ve never wanted a girl quite the way I do Sierra Fallon. The fact that she’s my stepsister should have quenched any desires I had in that direction. Only it hasn’t. I tried staying away from her, but my dad forced us together. It’s his fault we ended up in that bedroom. Alone. Drawn to one another, like a moth to a flame . And I’m the moth.
She’s gonna obliterate me or else give in to the fire I can see in her eyes. She wants me, I know she does, but she ran from me, scared by something. Now, I’m on the edge. Do I take what I want or take the easy way out? Dad said I had to stay. I’m not sure I can.
There’s something about her. She could hurt me in ways I didn’t think I was capable of feeling. I was damaged but my mom’s desertion. But, if Sierra left me. I think that would destroy me. I wouldn’t survive , not this time.
Part one of a serial.
Readers beware. This novella contains scenes of a sexual nature and is not meant for readers under the ages of 18. It is part of a series, and, therefore, does not contain a HEA at this time.

Consumed Part 2 is the continued story of step-siblings Cole and Sierra. We are left in book one wondering what will finally happen between Cole and Sierra. The sexual tension between them is stronger than ever and hard to conceal. Now living under the same roof, their love/hate relationship hits a new high. How long can they deny what they both want, exploring each others bodies in so many ways.
Cole unable to come to grips what he's feelings for Sierra, leaves her and her sisters alone in their home while their parents are on their honeymoon. Trying to forget how Sierra tasted, her silky skin and slamming body, Cole tries to go back to his old ways. However, he finds Sierra is harder to get out of his system. Sierra is pissed at Cole for abandoning her and her sisters, but she too can not forget his scent and dirty talk. When Cole finally decides to return home, he finds Sierra lurking in his bedroom. No longer able to deny what they both want, they give in to their desires. But the heat of the moment is quickly cooled off when Cole realizes Sierra is a virgin. Not responding well to the news, Sierra walks out of Cole's room, leaving him confused, controlled and consumed. Has Cole ruined his chance with Sierra? Will Cole finally allow his broken heart to be mended?

Second book in this series and I am well and truly hooked. We continue the story of Cole and Sierra who want each other but know they shouldn't as her mum and his dad have just gotten married. The tension between them is so hot and both get burned by it.
Cole has never met anyone like Sierra and doesn't know how to deal with his feelings so ends up being a bit of a brat towards her causing her even more confusion.
As with first book, this is also left hanging so at least 1 more to come in this series and I can't wait

Story picks up and we have yet to find out if Cole and Sierra will become lovers. Sierra's Mom and Cole's Dad take a month long Honeymoon and Cole is told to stay with the girls or they go with him, he runs off. The tension between these two boil over and affects others at this point Cole leaves for two weeks to get over sierra and they come back together only to seperate again when Cole learns her secret. The ups and downs and the sisters watching the dance the two are doing. Can not wait for 3.

Oh my!!! Neither one of them can get the other out of their heads!! Cole has done whatever he could, including leaving for weeks, to get her out of his head and all its done is make him hallucinate. Sierra stays at home but ends up in his room after he doesn't come home for weeks! They say the distance makes the heart grow stronger and these two are falling right into that scenario. Sierra has a secret that keeps her from going to far and when it finally comes out what will Cole do?!

I received an arc of this book for my honest review. Consumed Part Two tells more about Cole and Sierra. He is a real dunko at times, but I guess we can blame that on his mom leaving when he was a kid. Cole doesn't believe in love, but Sierra definitely does. I love how feisty and head-strong she is. If your looking a quick read, then this is the book for you.

Holy frustration

I think I'm as frustrated as the characters of this book. Don't get me wrong, the story is fabulously intriguing. I was hoping for more to happen but I guess I'll see what 3 has in store for us. I still hate cliff's!

OMG I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. THE SEXUAL TENSION BETWEEN COLE AND SIERRA IS PALPABLE. THEY ARE FIGHTING THEIR FEELINGS AND BARELY CONTROLLING THEMSELVES. I FEEL FOR COLE AS HE IS GETTING MIXED SIGNALS FROM SIERRA. NEED PART 3 NOW.

Book two picks up right where the first one ended. Cole and Sierra still infatuated with each other and struggling to accept the attraction. Cole moves out of the house leaving Sierra and her sisters alone while their parents are gone. Neither Cole or Sierra can get the other off their mind. When Cole returns home, he finds Sierra in his room and the sexual attraction/tension starts all over again. This time it is Sierra's time to leave, after telling Cole she is a virgin and he doesn't take it well. Anxiously waiting for the third installment of the series to find out if these two actually connect and if they can make it last.

Frustrated

It's a good story and the writing is good but it leaves me very frustrated. I'm mean this damaged kid from one incident. I guess we don't all easily forgive. But what frustrated me was how long it's taking them to communicate. This too me is probably because they are so young. The sexual tension is there. And they are hot together but it's slow. Ill read the next story.
