Savage Alpha (ALPHA 8) is the last story in Amazon #1 and USA Today International Bestselling author Carole Mortimer’s ALPHA series.Who does Lily ask for help when a fan’s admiration turns to a dangerous obsession? Her older brothers are the obvious choice, especially when they own and run Knight Security. But Lily has fought long and hard for her independence from her family, and for her career as an actress. She certainly doesn’t want one of her brothers—or possibly all of them—wading in with their usual arrogance and taking over her life again. But as the fan’s obsession become darker, the ‘gifts’ more bizarre, Lily know she has no choice. The last thing Jonas Grayfeather wants is to accept a job protecting the spoilt sister of the Knight brothers. But Gabriel, the eldest brother, and the man who once saved Jonas’s life, is calling in that favor, leaving Jonas with no choice but to at least check into whether or not Lily Knight really is being stalked.A single meeting with Lily, and Jonas knows she’s going to be more of a pain in his ass than any of her overbearing brothers has ever been. She’s outspoken, annoying, and so stubborn Jonas’s first instinct is to put her over his knee and give her the spanking she obviously should have had more of when she was a child. She’s also wild and beautiful, sexy as hell, and arouses his passion with just a single glance of her challenging green eyes.Whether they like it or not, the attraction is mutual, and the desire between them quickly blazes out of control. But Lily’s reckless disregard for Jonas’s efforts to protect her may result in one or both of them ending up dead.If they don’t kill each other with passion first…ALPHA Alpha (ALPHA 1)Dark Alpha (ALPHA 2)Shadow Alpha (ALPHA 3)Midnight Alpha (ALPHA 4)Renegade Alpha (ALPHA 5)Warrior Alpha (ALPHA 6)Rogue Alpha (ALPHA 7)Savage Alpha (ALPHA 8)Series completeKnight Security Series – spin-off to Alpha seriesBooks 0.5 – 6 Series CompleteKingston ’s Ransom (Kingston Security 1)Kingston’s Captive (Kingston Security 2)Kingston’s Redemption (Kingston Security 3) 275th BookKingston’s Enigma (Kingston Security 4)Kingston’s Salvation (Kingston Security 5)More books to come in this seriesRuthless Regency Wager (Ruthless Regency Dukes 1)The Mistress (Ruthless Regency Dukes 2)The Widow (Ruthless Regency Dukes 3)The Guardian (Ruthless Regency Dukes 4)More books to come in this seriesDance with the Devil – Contemporary Romance 1 – 5 Series now completeRegency ScandalBks 1 – 4 Series now completeRussian Dragon HeatVLADIMIR (Russian Dragon Heat 1)VAUGHN (Russian Dragon Heat 2)VIKTOR (Russian Dragon Heat 3)Regency Club 1-5 Series now completeSteele Protectors contemporary romance 1-6 Series now completeRegency Men in Love – MM romance written as C A MortimerHIDDEN LOVER (Regency Men in Love 1)HIDDEN DESIRE (Regency Men in Love 2)Regency Lovers 1-6 Series now completeDragon 1-8 Series now completeRegency Sinners 1-8: Se

This Alpha series is the Grayson Security, but I love it that the Knight Security characters cross over into this Aplha series. A brilliant end to this series. So enjoyed reading this. 5☆
Conclusion to the ALPHA series with a Tighter Story
FINAL DECISION: The ALPHA series concludes with a sexy little story of an actress and the man who is protecting her from a stalker. I enjoyed this book although the romance is pretty uncomplicated and the characters are no deep, but the tightness of the story makes this a good one time read.
THE STORY: Lily Knight is an actress who is being stalked by an increasingly dangerous and obsessed fan. Her older brother calls in a favor to have his friend Jonas Grayfeather to protect her. Jonas is a half Apache, half English American. The two have an attraction that is complicated by Jonas's solitary nature and the danger surrounding her.
OPINION: I have enjoyed the ALPHA series which are generally hot books. This book is no exception as the heat is high between Lily and Jonas. I thought their characters were interesting although because of the length and style of the book, the characters are not deep or complex. For the length and style of this book, I enjoyed it because the entire story and characters made sense and the story felt complete and satisfying.
WORTH MENTIONING: This book introduces the Knight family which will be the focus of another series.
CONNECTED BOOKS: SAVAGE ALPHA is the eighth book in the ALPHA series. It can be read as a standalone book although there are appearances by characters from prior books.
An amazing series! Jonas being the last if the Greyson Security agents to deal with a stalker, and a curvy dark haired imp all to realize he was lovable too. Well rounded characters and storyline with no cliffhanger or cheating. Some steamy intimacy scenes and a happy ever after. Overall quality of writing was really good! Enjoy 🤓
This was a great ending to this series...fully enjoyed Jonas struggles with himself over Lily...as always Carole Mortimer writes a fast, deep story for us to read I can see it unfold like like a good film... I will be starting on the next series...
Extremely intense with sizzling chemistry. Keeps one guessing like 'whodunnit' clues were there though. Enjoyed Jonas' and Lilys' repartee, the angst and the joyfulness of falling in love.
Jonas Greyfeather, Grayson Security operative, gets roped into bodyguard duty for actress Lily Knight because her oldest brother Gabriel Knight saved his life. Jonas is author Mortimer's typical alpha - arrogant, know-it-all, bad-ass, and drop-dead handsome. Talented, beautiful Lily is spunky and determined, and no fan of her over-protective big brother, or bossy Jonas. Which, of course, means Jonas and Lily end up being attracted to each other like a magnet and iron. It's the end of the series, and while the mystery/suspense/action is better than usual here, the love story seems a bit tired. And, personally, I found the word "savage," when used to describe half-Apache Jonas, to be offensive. Maybe UK authors don't get the nuances... Still, it's an entertaining read for alpha-male junkies.
