When an enemy unleashes demons on Black Shadows, Julie is forced to fight for the ones she loves. With destruction all around her, can she save her beloved community?
Chrissy Peebles, a practicing nurse, has always loved reading and writing fantasy from the earliest age she can remember. She plotted every single twist she could think of during bedtime stories for her children. When her little ones begged for more adventures, she felt confident enough to let her overeager imagination and sense of humor spill out into her first novel. She lives in Ohio with her husband, two young kids, one hamster, three dwarf hamsters and cat. When she's not taking the kids to Little League soccer, basketball, or baseball, she loves to snap photos as her favorite hobby.
As Julie's story plays out, old enemies rear their ugly heads. It's even more dangerous for her pack and her family. It seems wherever she goes, someone wants her unique powers. Another battle for her life and that of her pack ensues. It's completely action packed, full of dangerous twists and turns that'll leave you on the edge of your seat. It'll completely consume you! Chrissy outdid herself with this book! It's definitely a must-read! 5 brilliant stars!
Wow!! The first book was good but I think this one is better! on the edge of your seat intense, adventure, mystery and falling in love. This was a hard book to put down! On to the next one.
Wow, what a book. This is an amazing book. Following Julie along her trail of life, has its ups and downs. It's a great book. Get it, you'll enjoy it. Happy Reading
I liked that the adventure was contained to this book. It started and ended within the story rather than having cliffhangers. The one major cliffhanger though, that was good and the body disappearance was something I wondered about in book 1. The only thing that bums me out is that this series is supposed to be Julie's time to shine. This book was a major let down is making Julie a special character, is feels like a Taylor story with the characters switched. It also feels like an excuse for more books without the story really being flushed out. I'm going to read the third because I already bought it and I hope it will be better, but overall I was not happy.
A great werewolf/witch story but such a cliffhanger ending! I dislike these books that tease you and you just have to buy the next one. So, i guess I'll go buy the next one! But I won't be happy.
