I read this in the kindle edition which specifically says (the re-edited version). Unfortunately, if this was the re-edited version, it wasn't done very well. There were still a lot of omitted words and duplicated paragraphs and chapters. It definitely took away from my enjoyment of reading the book because I didn't feel like having to scroll time and time again to skip duplicates and it all got aggravating eventually. The story itself is a typical Romeo and Juliette in the midst of a family war story. There were no surprises, but the writing itself was still pretty good. My last 3 reads haven't worked out for me for some reason. LOL. I don't think I'll move on to the sequel simply because I'm afraid the lack of editing will annoy me again.
