Born hopeless and ill-fated in a run-down, dusty town, Amelia Caldwell had a rough introduction to life. But when she's torn from poverty and brought to the heights of opulent wealth by her mother's fortuitous marriage, she thinks she has finally made it to Easy Street.

Until, that is, her mother dies from cancer a few short years later.

Left with no one but her billionaire stepfather and a private school filled with rich, spoiled brats, Amelia becomes ever more withdrawn as she dedicates herself to excellence both academically and in sport. By all outward appearances she seems to have everything a young woman could want. But a shy introvert always lacks something.

Luca Cipollini is a rich, reckless bad-boy who bounces from one boarding school to the next. Finally kicked out of Italy after a scandalous affair with a teacher, he unexpectedly finds himself in the U.S. when his mother remarries.

Little does Luca know that his life is about to change, and in a big way. After meeting his new STEP, Amelia, the two connect instantly and become inseparable.

But Luca's troubled past comes back to haunt him. And Amelia needs the love only Luca can provide, but she's a good girl and doesn't dare upset her stepfather and his new wife.

To what ends will these two star-crossed lovers go to be together?

Stepbrother and not so step sister romance. The story was okay in the beginning; there was a plot. But it ended abruptly and inconclusive!! Ugh, it couldve been better. I mean both MCs were still young and green, they're having intercourse without protection, anddd having so little regards on the consequences. Well, I guess that's young green love. Impulsive. Careless. And wide open. But, i wish there're more to the story than just that.

The H seemed a total douche too.
