Ric Corbit inherits his uncle's estate, which includes played-out silver mine. He now finds his uncle was murdered and an attempt on his life puts him and his girlfriend in grave danger. A police detective and his doctor girlfriend help Ric and Kate unravel the mystery and try to protect them. With this thought an uncontrollable shiver raced through Ric's entire body, as if his blood had just turned cold. Is this what he had brought his new bride, now clinging to his arm, here to share with him? He thought. Yet, the place seemed to pull at him, to draw him in, as though somehow controlling his subconscious. It seemed his destiny, something he had to do, something he should have done days ago. It was as if all the horrible events of the past couple weeks compelled him to take this step, at this time. Intuitively, Ric knew this is where it would all end. This is where everything would be explained.

The writing is juvenile, rife with errors in rudimentary spelling, grammar and syntax. The author needs to go back to school, graduate, and try again.

Thriller mystery

Intriguing story pulls you in from the start. Interesting characters lead the story through the action. Greatly enjoyed setup, anxious for more.
