A sexy forbidden love story
Ella has plans to move to New York to open her own high end boutique. She's definitely not looking for a relationship after recently getting out of a highly publicized bad one. That could soon change when she meets Alex.
Alex is a mess, After losing the love of his life and falling for his brother's wife, he is in a never ending cycle of booze and meaningless hookups. That is until his current one night leaves before he wakes up and he can't stop thinking of her.
Ella and Alex are perfect together! They're chemistry was off the charts hot and their story flowed so well.
I love the forbidden relationship, with Alex being her bodyguard they had everything going against them, and at times I wanted to jump in the story and slap Alex around, but I soon got over that feeling. This was a great read for me!

AMAZING BOOK!! Bound to Me is one NOT to miss! This book will be a hit, and it SHOULD be a hit.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Alex and Ella. This story is something special! Bound to Me was EVERYTHING. I am completely smitten with Alex and I adore Ella. I love smart, witty characters who are GROWN UP's! This was probably one of the most likable female heroines I have EVER read.
Ms. Pastore has an amazing eye for details that brings you front and center - right into the story. Her characters are as well described as their stories. The location - I felt like I was smack dab in the middle of The Hamptons. If The Harbour is a real place I want to go there!
FIVE Stars with a side of creme brulee ice cream. Do yourself a favor and discover Christy Pastore's books.

Hero feels guilty for the death of his ex in a military mission and besides all had an affair with the brother's girlfriend. She chose his brother, but he was in love with her.
He says he's not a cheater, but in my opinion, anyone who fucks his brother's girlfriend is a cheater.
Our heroine finds an emotionally destroyed hero and also has to face a stalker.

Today of all days, I wanted to be someone else. The memory of Sasha’s death weighed heavily on my mind. More recently, my affair with Amanda had left my life in complete disarray. When she decided to make a life with Vince, and I found out the baby girl she was carrying wasn’t mine, I started to unravel.
Alex nodded. “There is something and I’m not going to beat around the bush or sugar coat—I had an affair with my brother’s girlfriend.”
There were times I still hated myself for sleeping with Amanda. She was his and I wasn’t supposed to have those feelings for her, but the two of us spent so much time together and Vince was rarely around.

Really liked this story.. it was a combination of sweet, hot, drama and funny all in one book! It was really a treat to read more about Alex and his back story and Ella really did an outstanding job in breaking up his walls.. this is a story that you definitely don't want to miss!

Bound to Me by Christy Pastore

If you’ve read the Scripted Series by Ms. Pastore, then you already know about Ronan’s little sister Ella. Don’t get your knickers in a twist, you don’t have to read it first, but you should eventually … because Ronan. Anyhoo, so Ronan being the overprotective big brother, hires Alex Robertsen as her shadow. Oh wait, guess what, they had a little bow-chic-a-bow-bow moment the night before they met.

Can I say how much I adored Ella! She was extremely sassy which made me love her even more. She’s in the U.S. trying to get her clothing business up and running, now if she only find the right place. Alex is seriously yummy from the start. I will admit, reading the Prologue, I thought I was going to get a very distant and brooding Alex, but he really took his duty in protecting Ella seriously, and of course, he also took his duty in loving her as well. But will Alex’s past as a special operative get in the way of really giving his all to Ella? Will Ella’s party girl ways from back in the days come to haunt her now in the present?

Ms. Pastore’s words are refreshing and insightful. I did love the element of suspense she threw at me, so unexpected, but she did it and wrote it well. I loved how NYC and Montauk was visually appealing and wanting me going for a 2 hour drive just to go hang out in Montauk. If you’re looking for a strong independent heroine with a bit of sass and a sexy alpha hero, then Bound to Me is just for your reading pleasure. This is by far my favorite of Ms. Pastore’s books. Her writing keeps getting stronger, and I look forward to more of her words and writing chops in the near future.

This was a really good read, it hooked me in from page one and turned out to be a real page turner. The characters were well written and I didn't feel that it was part of a series at all. I haven't read any of this author's work before but I will definitely find time to read the series that this book comes from now.
I loved the main characters, Alex and Ella and I really did bond with them. Alex is a real alpha male, all protective and dominant - #swoon but then I suppose he would be, being that he owns a security company and has been hired to be Ella's bodyguard!
They meet totally randomly and have an anonymous one night stand- no name, no number. Ella leaves before he wakes and then they discover he is hired by her movie star brother to be her bodyguard! He is a bit of a 'runner' though. I was a bit exasperated with him a couple of times as it is so obvious to everyone but him that he runs from his problems. He's had a couple of GOOD reasons to run away from.
Ella is a self-assured, accomplished woman and she can fit in with the best of the elite and the general public, having an actor for a brother has her mixing with lots of affluent people, but she has a bit of a murky past and needs to be watched.
These two are made for each other. There's some good drama awaiting you in this book too.
The other characters were a delight and you can add a couple of slime balls who you just want to punch (and not in the face either). From the very first pages in the book you fall in love with Alex and are heartbroken for him too.
Great story, with an great ending that was perfect and left you feeling good.
Btw, Alex is super sexy and great in bed! Oh yeah! HOT!

I Absolutely Adored this book.!
Bound To Me is one of those books you can just get swept away in .Christy's writing makes you feel like you are there inside the pages,and I Loved the world I was transported to .
I was totally captivated by Alex and Ella's Love story.These two characters are both so likable and relateable.As we have all experienced Love and loss and trust issues in our relationships.
Alex is a dream,The Kind of man I would want to protect me..thats for sure.
Has Ella's bodyguard they aren't supposed to fall in Love.
But how can you resist a guy like Alex I think I have fell in Love with him too.
Ella is sweet Lovely and warm,I had butterflies in my stomach reading about their declaration of Love for one another.,and there are some very hot steamy scenes.And I am going to really miss not being able to read about them now I have finished reading the book.
I knew this was a 5 star read for me as soon as I read the first 2 chapters and I Highly recommend Bound To Me to everyone.I Cannot wait for the next one.

5 stars! Christy is one of my go to authors. She writes in such a way, you feel like you've lived with her characters. Experiencing the harbor with Ella was refreshing. I saw what she saw and felt the same inspiring relaxed feeling that she was left with. Christy's characters are dear to my heart when I finish one of her novels. I never want to let them go. Alex and Ella nearly broke me.
Occasionally you meet a character who doesn't play a major role but still manages to linger in your mind. This was Alex for me. I was curious about his past, what was hiding in those eyes of his, and what was in store for his future ever since we met him in Fifteen Weekends. Alex is complex and we continued to learn about him all the way through the end of Bound To Me.
Ella is the type of girl you love to be friends with. Strong and classy yet vulnerable and witty. Her inner monologue had me laughing quite a bit. I was so happy when she let down her walls with Alex so we could really get a good look at her soft side.

This was the first time I have read anything by Christy Pastore. It definitely won't be the last. Everything I require out of a story was here. The romance between Alex and Ella was hot and sweet all at the same time, the mystery kept me on edge throughout. I was at 20% completion and knew I would be suffering from some serious angst later on. It was at that point that I no longer wanted to do anything but finish this book. Good luck getting anything else done until you have read every last word. Thoroughly enjoyed my time reading Bound to Me. I am giving this story 5 stars.

I DEVOURED this one! D-E-V-O-U-R-E-D!!! I cannot say enough good things about this book. Alex and Ella are wrapped around my heart - forever. The journey these two characters take in this novel is pure poetry. At times I felt as if my heart would swell up and burst out of my chest. My emotions were ripped from my throat at one point. I felt all of the pain, all of the sadness all of the LOVE.
The steamy scenes were kindle melting. The story was F$%CKING amazing. Every time I read one of Ms. Pastore's books I fall more in love with her writing. She is a true storyteller.
I cannot recommend this BOUND TO ME enough!! FIVE STARS!

Ms.Christy gave a great emotional and funny story line. Alex and Ella make a great pair that feeds off each other. They both feed off the positive and the bad. This story was a great redemption of souls. Alex found his way back because of Ella and watching him come back was actually very moving at times.
I laughed, cried, even wanted to say really but I didn’t stop reading and I’m glad I didn’t because it was so worth reading. This story and the rollercoaster of their love made me believe that there was such thing as love at first sight. These two fought demons and came out on top and through the suspense their love came out on top. This was more than a physical relationship it was also an emotional one too.
I really enjoyed this story and would definitely recommend it as a much read. Let Ella and Alex draw you into their world. Its so worth it.

Alex's life is in shambles! He blames himself for his girlfriends death, the other woman he loved chose his brother over him. After this happened
Alex needs a change of pace. Ella is from the U.K. and is in the States to expand her clothing company. Ella and Alex meet one night in a bar and hook up. They don't give names and the next day she finds out he is assigned to watch over her while she is in town. As you would imagine things are about to become very interesting.
Alex and Ella try to keep things professional and put what happened behind them in the past. Even though they tried it doesn't happen. They decide to be together but keep things hidden. I wish they would have taken more time to get know each other. The relationship progressed just a little too quick for my liking. Alex and Ella hit a bump in the road and this causes some issues between the couple. I wanted Alex to tell Ella how he was feeling!! He was making all these plans and when something out of his control happens he leaves her!! I was pissed!!
While in town Ella is also dealing with an ex boyfriend named Charlie. I had a feeling he was a slime ball and I was right. What he did to Ella was horrible and I was happy she had Alex in her corner in the end. The issues the couple had also got resolved rather quickly. Ella was sassy and I was hoping she would make Alex work harder after that stunt he pulled.
This was my first time reading anything by this author and I was impressed.

Just amazing!! The very first few lines had me with this book!
"Year - Classified; Location - Also Classified; Final Mission for Elite Eight - Covert American Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Unit. Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Alex Robertsen."
That right there had me!! This book has military men and their backstory with darkness and secrets. How could I not be drawn into it? You have Alex that you just know has things that he needed to work out. Then you have Ella, this British semi-socialite that is in America to change her story. They meet by chance for a one-night stand without using their real names. Well unknown to either of them Alex has been hired as Ella's bodyguard. Initially I thought this may have been just a retelling of the super popular movie "The Bodyguard" oh was I WRONG!!! Ella had a different kind of sass to her that just made you love her. All of her text and dialogue as she tries to fit into American culture is just perfect!!! Alex's struggles are real life things that are not so lofty that they are unbelievable. These two characters have issues and they work through them, it was beautiful and frustrating at time but truly enjoyable. After finishing the book I did learn that I may need to read Christy's other books to get more backstory on some of the other characters to see how this book was born.

I have to admit I was extremely excited to get this as Christy is a One Click author for me.
I was hooked into the story of Alex & Ella at 6% on my Kindle! I fell in love w/ Christy’s writing due to her rich descriptions and attention to the details; at 6% w/ the telling of Alex’s attention to the scent Ella left behind….I was a goner!
The novel is set in the NYC, Hamptons and Michigan and while Alex and Ella certainly have money…this isn’t a “billionaire” story. I adore her settings; The Harbor in the Hamptons takes me to the easy going setting of the East Coast; I could practically feel to sting
Christy weaves her magic w/ an alpha male who isn’t afraid to ponder his own insecurities. Ella, the heroine is strong and in charge of her own destiny but isn’t afraid to show her own vulnerabilities as well. This is what makes this novel so real; they have those fabulous Alpha/Strong traits that I love but within that fabulousness they feel real; and admit it…at least to themselves!
Obviously I loved this novel ~ Sexy Alpha, Smart Gorgeous Heroine; great dialogue, fabulous details and HOT Sex, what more do you need. Well, I can’t wait for more of Christy’s characters; they all mingle so nicely!

This was a fantastic introduction to this new series by Pastore. Alex was an amazing, swoony hero and Ella was no frills, no nonsense heroine. My favorite part about this book was the outstanding character development, and it was incredible to see Alex and Ella's relationship develop naturally. I LOVED the way these two meet.
Again we get, vivid descriptions of places, spaces, fashion and phenomenal scene transitions. Sexy times, beautiful emotional conversations and some suspense all wrapped up in this fantastic book.

I was on the Release Blitz for this book when it released and I've been wanting to read it even since! The cover initially drew me to the book because it's seriously hot and the synopsis sounded amazing too! I also didn't know that this book was a crossover book until just before I picked it up lol, but it can be read as a complete standalone because I was able to understand mostly everything! I also loved the plot! It developed at the perfect pace and it kept me interested the whole way through! There were some seriously hot scenes in it too, and they were really, really hot! There was also some action and suspense in the plot too and both these elements added a lot to the plot and made me even more desperate to read on and find out what was going to happen next! There were a few secrets between the two main characters and this added to the plot too! The plot also ended at the perfect place for the characters too! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Ella was the main female character, and in this book she had a very overprotective brother and this is how she came to meet her love interest! Well, sort of lol! Ella had also been through a bad situation and she was left hurt and more in the public eye! I did feel sorry for her because of what she had been through, but Ella was strong and she had moved on and was focused on her new business venture! I also connected with Ella all the way through this book and I found her to be a very likable character! Alex was the main male character and love interest of Ella! I loved Alex in this book! He was seriously hot and such a sweetheart! Alex had also been through a lot in his life and he had lost someone very special to him! What Alex had been through still impacted him years later, but he came a long way in this book and went through a lot of realisation! I also loved the way that Alex was with Ella! He was very protective of her, which was understandable, and it was easy to see his feelings for her develop more! I loved that this book was written from both Ella and Alex's point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be after I read the synopsis, so I'm really happy that it was! It allowed for more things to happen in the plot and it helped me understand and connect more with both characters too! I also can't wait to read the next book in this series! I know that it released recently, so I'm definitely going to grab a copy and give it a read! I know that it's about new characters, but the main male character did make a slight appearance in this book! I'm excited to read it and I'm hoping that Ella and Alex maybe make some appearances in it! I'm not sure if they will though! I can't wait to read this author's other books too! They all sort of interconnect with each other, so I maybe should have started with the first book, so that everything was clear in the plot lol! This is my first book by Christy Pastore, and I must say I really like it! I enjoyed the story, the plot, all the scenarios, Alex and Ella were so so sexy and hot!
This is a forbidden romance and both hero and heroine bring baggages. They have to get over their past at the same time they have to learn how to deal with their feelings and what they expect from their future, and it is very often hard to conquer all of that!
It was sweet seeing them strugling to make it work and fighting with the obstacles that show up on their paths. That was great.
I just felt that their bonding, their backgrounds and their emotional development about both themselves and their pasts were lacking a little in deepness. I mean, I know I said it was sweet to see them strugling, and I still believe in that, but I also think it all happenned so fast that I felt that I was being told the story, but I wasn't being totally convinced about the story at some points.
I read it, but not always I felt it.
But that doesn't change the fact that I had fun and I enjoyed their hot and sexy moments and I liked the thriller.
I still want to read Christy's other books, and after reading so much about Ella's brother and his girlfriend, now I want (really want) to read the books about him!!

This is how to write a strong, beautiful female character AND a true Alpha male. I adored Alex and Ella's story. This was the best book that I have read in a LONG time - Ms. Pastore seems to avoid every cliche in the book and delivers a well-written, soul moving and clever read. These characters will stay with you long after you have finished. Actually, you won't want it to ever end. I'd love to take a trip to The Harbour and hang out with these characters - ANYTIME.

First let me say that this is BY FAR.... my favorite book written by Christy. I literally could not stop reading. I flipped page after page after page... and was kept captive the entire time. Ella and Alex are fun, loving and HOT! I could totally hang with these two for some of their adventures. Great Read! Can't wait for the next one.

I received this for an honest review...
I have to say I am new to this author and after reading this book I just can not wait to read more from her!!!
This book just had a bit of everything.. I was hooked into this book with Alex and Ella and could barely put it down once I picked it up.. This book was hot and sexy and funny and with a bit of angst thrown in for very good measure!! I just fell head over heels in love with these characters so much I was sad when the story ended...
I can not wait to sink my teeth into something else of this authors!!!

This is one amazing book, one that is so awesome! This is going to be one of the best books of 2017!!
This is a spin-off of the scripted series and we have the main couple Ella and Alex. Ella is so sweet and you can tell she is misunderstood, that she had some bad things happen to her in her past but she doesn’t let that get her down. She picks herself back up and makes herself go on and do what she can to be the best person she can. When the story starts, these two meet up it was in a most unique way and it was awesome. Yet they didn’t think they would meet up again but they did when her brother introduced her new bodyguard- Alex. These are two broken people who have had some bad things happen to them in their past and its made them wary, and hard to trust. For Alex, you can empathize and feel his pain and want to hug him . For Ella, you can feel her pain and sympathize and want to protect her from further pain. These two complement each other perfectly . Ella is all light even when she has those dark moments and Alex is all broody and dark , that is ok, for Ella is there to lighten him up with her personality –with all she went thru, she still has that sweet personality, that lightness in sprit. The reason Ella has a bodyguard does get delved into in this story and there is a lot of action and angst at times and trust me, danger lurks for Ella.
There is a lot of steamy scenes and a lot of angst that is worked thru in this book which I completely loved. Ms. Pastore has a way of writing her books that makes you feel as if you are right there with the characters, in the scenes. I was so engrossed in this book that I couldn’t stop until I finished and then have gone back and re-read this book over and over because it is THAT GOOD! There is humor and there is emotional angst that will grab your heart and squeeze; there is action and adventure, there is love and joy…oh the ending of the book brought tears to my eyes. I cannot wait to read the next book by Christy Pastore for anything she writes, even her grocery list, I would love to read (smile).

I was swept away by this book. Fate, destiny whatever you want to call it, Ella and Alex were definitely meant to be. It was such a beautifully written story with a few intense moments to keep you reading. The sexual chemistry was intoxicating making it an exciting experience to read.
Ella plans to expand her already thriving business to the states. Moving is a big step for her but she is more than capable of making it work. Her brother Ronan, remember him? Who could forget, right? If you haven’t met Ronan Connolly, you are missing out big time. You can find hollywood’s sexiest actor in the Unscripted series. Where was I? Oh, yeah, Ronan has an overprotective nature so when he learns that Ella is going to be staying over, of course the most natural thing is for him to hire her a bodyguard. Against Ella’s wishes it’s going to happen.
Alex Robertsen AKA Ella’s bodyguard. Oh. My. God. Now this is the first time I heard of Alex, but I believe other readers were first introduced to him in the book, ‘Fifteen Weekends’. I will certainly be downloading this book, I am more than intrigued about the story. Now as I understand it Alex appealed to readers so much he needed his own story. Thank you fans of ‘Fifteen Weekends’. He most definitely has a voice worth hearing.
Complications arise when Ella and Alex first meet. Let’s just say they already know each other, unbeknown to anyone else in the room. Yes, it makes for an interesting read. They are both finding it hard but it seems Alex can be very persuasive. Alex has had his own problems to overcome, correction he still has issues that are far from resolved, but one thing is for sure he can and will protect Ella. Until the time came for him to leave and deal with his issues, and hand over the protection detail to a trusted employee.
