Crystal Magic (Book #1)

Kristyl (Krissa) has not had an easy teenage life. Her dad is adsent without an explanation and the kids at school are horrible to her. She has to keep calm because if isn't then weird stuff happens around her that can't be explained but she gets blamed for. After a horrible accident she is sent to live with her aunt (on her dad's side). Soon she finds that this is the fresh start she needed and makes new friends and possibly finds answers to why weird things happen around her. Soon her mysterious abilities will be put to the test and find out what it all means. Witchcraft? Magic? Time travel?

Wild Magic (Book #2)

After finding out that their time travel trip has changed more than a few things, Krissa is trying to adjust. Soon the circle anchors themselves to the crystal, Krissa is now the odd man out. Not only did she refuse to join the others but actively tried to intervene. Struggling with combining her two timeliness together she is trying to fix what she can to disconnect everyone from the "evil" feeling in the crystal. The flashes to the past holds hints but Krissa isn't sure what they are trying to tell her. She decides to let her other self influence the here and now to see if it will help. While in her search to right the winds of decisions made, Krissa starts to learn more about her powers and about her friends(old and new and forgotten). You can feel the story build to something powerful and a new character coming into play.

Circle Magic (Book #3)
Krissa out her trust into the wrong person. Seth has now accumulated enough power to get away from the circle and start gathering forces to finish what he started centuries ago. Krissa along with the Witches and Psychics are coming to terms with being bound to eachother. Of course, her bonds are to the last 2 people she wants to feel and have her feeling know by. Owen and Fox. The group must come together and try to save the town, their magic and themselves before Seth becomes all powerful. Can they do it? (And what's up with Crystal? She's hardly involved.....)

Brilliantly Written

I really enjoyed these three books. I felt that the author told the story well and kept story moving at an appropriate pace. I particularly liked the way in which she dealt with the various relationships that Crystal had within.

I am looking forward to reading no.4 in the series to find out what happens next.

now i am hooked. This was such a great, easy and creative book. i was hooked after the first page.

The characters were easy to fall in love with and follow, along with the story. the author made the mental visions so easy and vivid of the surroundings and the characters actions felt so real.

i would highly recommend this author and this book.

Excellent series so far

I really have enjoyed this YA paranormal series so far. There is a lot of complexity to both the plot and characters. It is obvious that these books were not written quickly and with little thought to the process- amazing details throughout which creates vivid imagery and character empathy. On to read the next in the series.

It's an ok read. There's are some very threadbare parts tho. Just 'oh what a weird situation in the middle of trying times, but hey, let's not think anything odd about it and carry on like nothing bads been drowning us for weeks'. There's another series I was reading that drove me absolutely MAD - and made me quit it - with all the dumbass things the characters did/didn't do... common sense things that given the situations they kept getting into, it was like they were tossing down dumb pills just to give the story a little extra drama, rather than smart writing to make smart thinking interesting. Well, this one has quite a few moments like that... some - but not all - can be forgiven/tolerated in this series because were talking mainly about teenagers, but still, there were alot, and some of it was just dumb, and as I said earlier, threadbare.

In short, I won't be reading Bk4-5.

I enjoyed this book set so much that I immediately went and bought the rest of the books that I didn't have. I don't want to recap what the story is about because it is already written above, I just want to emphasize how entertaining this story was for me. I have been on the search for new authors and because of this I have found one that I will be following closely and with baited breath for anything she writes. Well done and thank you for telling this story!
