Bidding on the Billionaire

Safety. Anonymity. Invisibility.

Those are just a few advantages of Internet “dating.” Even better, as far as Hannah Miller is concerned, is the fact that she can shed all inhibitions without worrying about what he thinks of her figure or her face. “He” is bikerboy357, the man who knows what Hannah likes, and wants her—every night—as much as she wants him. When he asks to meet, Hannah hesitates. But the temptation is too strong. And after one look into his sultry green eyes, there’s no turning back.

Cade MacKenzie’s never met a woman who’s wasn’t blinded by his billion-dollar net worth, but “H” knows neither his face nor his name. Her words are so smart, sweet, and scorchingly sexy that Cade’s willing to gamble she’ll be just as amazing in person. And she is. But even as every delicious encounter makes Cade want Hannah more, what he wants most is her trust.

It’s something all his money can’t buy. And now, Cade will do anything to earn it.

JM Stewart writes heartfelt contemporary romance. Whether the heat level is sizzling or sweet, her stories are always deeply emotional. Her heroes are strong but sensitive (no alpha jerks here!), and her heroines are more Cinderella than Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Recently transplanted, she now lives in a small town in Texas along with her husband, two sons and two very spoiled dogs. When not writing, she enjoys reading, cooking and playing computer games. As a sensitive soul with a romantic heart, she believes in angels and hopes everyone finds their happily ever after.

Hannah Miller likes the anonymity of online "dating", where she doesn't have to worry about what a man thinks of her figure or scars. She can be herself behind the safety of a computer screen, but when "bikerboy357" wants to meet in person, Hannah is a bit hesitant...

Cade McKenzie likes the anonymity of "H", his online lover, where he doesn't have to worry if she if only in it for his money. After a betrayal that left reeling, he likes the safety of the computer screen, but their is something about "H" that makes him think she will be just as amazing in person as she is on screen. And he is right.

Cade quickly realizes that Hannah is worth so much more than money can buy. And all he has to do is convince her to take a chance on him.

Bidding on the Billionaire is the first book in JM Stewart's new Seattle Bachelors series. It was also the first book I've read by this author. It was a short, sweet story about learning to trust your judgment and in other people. I really enjoyed Cade and Hannah's story and I am looking forward to the next in the series.

3.5 A Good Reason For Taking it Personal Stars
* * * 1/2

Take on line dating... chat rooms and the free flow of discussion. What could possibly go wrong... or better yet...right? Well, nothing in this fast paced read of two people who find each other in not the usual way.

Each is disillusioned about Love with the capital L and both seem to feed of each exchange...to the point where first, it is almost every night on the site to breaking the rule and actually talking to one another....But then it becomes too hot to handle just over phone lines...and a meeting is decided....

The rules are set- sex that's it....But is it... because when these two get into the same room together... all bets are off.

This read was engaging and smokin' hot. Best of all, it was complete.

Hannah loves the anonymity of her online persona, she is herself but she can hid the fact that she is not perfect to a mans standards. Her online lover bikerboy357, is the highlight of each day and it makes all that they share safe.

Cade MacKenzie likes the safety of his online lover, she knows nothing about who he is or the fact that he is worth billions. After a betrayal from someone he trusted has him unable to trust, he finds solace in keeping his identity hidden. However, he knows he has to meet this woman, she consumes his thoughts.

Cade asks Hannah to meet him, after some convincing she agrees. He proposes two weeks, no attachments, only pleasure. Hannah has her own rules which are setup to protect her heart. What happens next is electrifying.

Loved this. I thought they were both broken and yet they find a way to connect. Once you pick this book up you can't put it down, you will fall for these fascinating characters. Highly entertaining.

3.5 STARS!

The book started so good but a few chapters later it went down, argh!

The characters spent most of the time inside their heads than face to face, and I got bored. I wanted more interaction between them, not just hanky panky, though it was hot, I wanted more.

Also, I felt the ending a little rushed. I was expecting to know what was going to happen with Cade's family since they were one of his biggest concerns so... but nothing. Ethan? He forgot about him, Amelia? She showed up until the end, boring. I would have loved an OMG moment, you know the one where you bite your nails or scream to your kindle, something like that. But again, nothing.

Overall, it was an ok reading.

I will be reading Tina & Sebastian book for sure, just because I like her and I have hopes that this one will be better.

Hannah and Cade are brought together online through conversation over an erotic novel. During their discussions of the book, a friendship forms. As their friendship progresses, it turns into something neither one expected.

Hannah likes the safety of online dating. She doesn't have to worry about what a man thinks about her and her scars, plus she knows nothing about the man on the other side. She can be herself and she likes that.

Cade also likes the anonymity of having an online lover. He is a billionaire and after having his trust shattered previously, he wants to remain hidden. However, Hannah is getting under his skin. He is nearly beside himself and not able to function. He must meet her. He suggests a meeting in person. Hannah is, of course, hesitant.

Eventually Hannah agrees. Cade proposes a two week, no attachments, only sex tryst. After setting up some ground rules, they embark on an awakening that morphs into so much more than they could've figured it would.

I really liked both Hannah and Cade from the get go! They had very different upbringings but their pasts are similar, so they can relate to one another. Hannah always wants to hide since she has unsightly scars from an auto accident. Underneath, she is a very strong, resilient, and smart woman who wants to let go of the boundaries that she has put up around herself. Cade is a very kind and sensitive man. He saw Hannah for who she was-regardless of scars-and just can't get enough of her. He's a good guy and Hannah feels that about him, but both struggle with defining what is happening between them. Their hearts war with their heads. I liked their bantering and their sexual chemistry is off the hook!

Bidding on the Billionaire is the first book I have read by J.M. Stewart. I enjoyed the writing and pace of the book. I am also a fan of dual POV and felt it enhanced this story. The characters were written well and were very likable. A good first book to the Seattle Bachelors series that I look forward to continuing!

Review:

Interesting story line. Cade and Hannah meet in an online chat room discussing a popular book. An anonymous relationship begins as they seek out each others company in an online sexual relationship. How that actually works, I haven’t figured out, but it works in this story. In the beginning this seemed like the perfect way to keep emotions out of a relationship. Both Hannah and Cade have had their share of bad relationships. Now Cade would like to really experience Hannah in the flesh. A no strings attached fling with his online lover. What he didn’t count on was falling in love with the beautiful woman hiding behind the keyboard.

This is a fun plot. Hannah and Cade have interesting backstories that make this such a good book. Their chemistry is constant in cyberspace and in person. The pacing of the story had a good momentum keeping us interested in what the outcome of the story would be. Loved the ending. Every book boyfriend should be as sweet and caring as Cade. Since this book takes place over a short few weeks, the character development is pretty fast. However it does not detract from the story.

Hannah Miller is a woman who knows a lot about books. They are, after all her business. As co-owner of the Second Chance bookstore along with her best friend Maddie. But it seems that the last thing that this literature loving lady ever expected was the searing online affair that resulted from a heated debate with an intriguing stranger. With each taking an opposing viewpoint on the merits of a certain work of erotic fiction.

Caden McKenzie the "golden boy" billionaire lawyer, should have the world by the tail.
And he did...
Until the day that he lost his best friend and the woman that he thought loved him because of a seemingly unforgivable act of calculated betrayal.
Now alone...and having narrowed the scope of his life considerably. Caden is a man resigned to keep affairs of the heart under the strictest of locks and key. While diverting his passions into his work...and her.
The mysterious woman who makes words at him from behind a computer screen. Words that excite, intrigue, inspire, challenge, and inflame him to the point of obsession. Words from a woman whom he knows only as JusstAGurl456.
A woman about whom he can't help wanting to know so much more.

Bidding On The Billionaire is the first book in JM Stewart's Seattle Bachelors series. It is also a book that is unafraid to take readers from 0 to 60, in terms of sensuality and emotionality
within the course of only the first few chapters.

Cade and Hannah are bold and intelligent characters that readers are sure they want to see together from word one. The hurts suffered by each, in their respective pasts provide very legitimate causes for their very circumspect beginnings. Once these two get together, there is a natural rapport between them that speaks to a soul deep connection.
It is this connection that makes the lightening speed dive into sexual depths seem nothing but natural.
Speaking of the sex. It's HOT HOT HOT! There are many varied and intense scenes. Each one doing more to draw the reader in, while simultaneously working to solidify the validity of our leads as a couple in the process.

The best thing about this book however, has to be what doesn't happen here. While this book is about a billionaire, his money and status never becomes an issue. In fact, the connection between Hannah and Cade is so strong that it is hard to relate to the two as more than a man and a woman trying to find love.

The only negative in this read comes in the form of the grand gesture surrounding the auction that readers encounter at its close. It is a negative only due to its predictability. A predictability is negated very quickly by the awesome and highly heart-melting epilogue.

This book is the first in a companion series which may be read in any order.

The blurb was what captured my eye and had me downloading the sample to get a taste of what the writing was like since I’d never read a JM Stewart book and before I knew it I had purchased the book and when it dawned on me that I actually had things I needed to get done **cough** work ***cough*** I was 39% into and didn’t want to stop reading it.

I loved the fact that what first brought Hannah and Cade together was an erotic novel, one that is never named and yet I have a feeling I know which one it probably is, and from that point their relationship morphed into a friendship that neither saw coming. This fact hit a chord with me because I’ve made quite a few friends thanks to a shared love, or dislike, of books and know that it is possible.

From the moment I met Hannah and Cade I liked them. Despite the fact that they did not have the same experiences growing up, they both have trust issues and what people see on the surface is only a very small part of who both they are. Hannah feels like she has to hide from the world due to scars that are difficult to hide, but underneath is a woman who is strong, intelligent and has something of a kinky side that wants to break out of the confines she’s put on herself. Cade is all smooth sophistication on the surface, but what lies beneath is a man who is sweet, sensitive and just an all around good guy.

Though we don’t get to fully experience how their friendship evolved online, we do get to be apart of how their relationship evolved once they come face to face and I loved how honest and real it felt. From the anxiety it caused in both of them to how they addressed the little white lies that were told to the struggle within them both to keep things as a fling, but finding that their hearts wanted more even if it scared the shit out of both of them. I enjoyed their bantering and how they ended up bringing out the best in each other and the sex and sexual chemistry between them was hot!

The writing was engaging and well paced and I enjoyed the dual third person POV. The characters were all well written and I’m really looking forward to the second book in the series, Sebastian’s and Christina’s, as well as what the third and beyond will be because there was another connection hinted at in passing that I’m quite curious about.

The Bottom Line: This was a fun, steamy, quick read and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next!

I’m a sucker for the occasional billionaire book, so when I read the blurb for Bidding on the Billionaire, I had to read it! Plus, the premise about online lovers sounded amazing, so I was totally on board for this book. Overall, this was pretty much a quick, fun, sexy read, and though I didn’t particularly LOVE it, it’s a good read to pass the time.

Hannah Miller and Cade MacKenzie have been anonymous online lovers for a few months now, and more and more each day they become deeply involved with each other, even though they still haven’t revealed their real names. Hannah is a shy bookstore owner and Cade is a workaholic billionaire. They couldn’t be more different, but one phone call leads to an in-person meeting, and the chemistry between them in real life is just as hot as it is online. So they decide to let themselves indulge in one another for two weeks only – but what happens when they start to fall for each other and they’re both too scarred from their pasts to commit to a relationship?

I had a lot of fun with this book. I didn’t connect with Hannah or Cade, but I enjoyed their characters nonetheless. They’re both good people, but the exes in their lives have left them too emotionally hurt to ever want to put their hearts on the line again. I liked the way these two fell for one another, albeit quickly, and how they soothed each others’ hurts and started to believe in love again. I’d definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for something quick and easy with a hot billionaire hero. ;)

5 Stars for Stewart

This is the first book of Stewart's I have read and I really liked it. Hannah is our heroine and she has dealt with loss and disappointment in her 25 years. Struggling with her appearance ever since being hurt in the accident which took her parents from her, Hannah has closed herself off after a disastrous dating experience. She enjoys her time online with the man who has captivated her attention and lit a fire in her. When things go beyond user names and Cade makes plans to meet Hannah in person she is so unsure but can't deny she wants it just as bad.

Cade had recently been burned by his last girlfriend and he struggles with knowing whether someone is interested in him or his family's billions. His time spent online getting to know Hannah has him interested in getting to know her better and it is more than just the burning desire she has evoked in him.

Cade wants his two weeks on business to be spent with Hannah as they find themselves in the same city. They put rules in place to protect themselves from getting hurt, but before long, both realize they would rather break the rules then be apart.

I really enjoyed this story. The writing was good and the chemistry between this couple is intense. The secondary characters were great and I so hope the next story will be Cade's sister and Sebastian. Looking forward to reading more from Stewart.

I really enjoyed Hannah and Cade's story. This is a HEA story. This book gives me hope that I can find love on the internet. Hannah is a very likable character. The author pulls you in and makes you like Hannah and feel very attached to her through her hurt and the discovery that someone can and will love you in spite of your looks. Cade is a little damaged but he is hot as hell. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good love story and anyone dating online.

Online persona the real me. Hannah had much to offer but it was behind the screen of 'H'. She was more than she gave herself credit for. With this false sense of security she let all her inhibitions out. She played her fantasies without shame. So much so that bikerboy357 (Cade) wants more than a few chats online and some conversation. He wants in person. Physical contact. Skin-on-skin.

Hot, fast, fun, sexy, and then some. This read was enjoyable. Makes me want to have the next Seattle bachelor come knocking on my door. JM Stewart did a great job keeping me engaged and turning pages.

I thought this one was great! Two very complex characters fill with insecurities and doubt hide behind their computer screens as their relationship blooms from witty banter over books to sizzling hot intimacy. When Hannah and Cade decide to finally meet the chemistry is explosive so for two weeks they agree to a no strings, walk away when it's over fling. As with most best made plans, things don't work out quit that way!

A very well done book that I would highly recommend.

received in exchange for a honest review. The ending swoon city. Cade is like prince charming there. So so romantic and sweet.

So I did like Sebastian’s love story a tad better. ONly because we got more fun banter and Sebastian was more stubborn and not as serious about life. He had more regrets and needed to work through more. I know this one came before Sebastian’s story but still he gave us more screwups than Cade and it was fun to see him wiggle out of things.

Cade is a great guy. He works hard and tries to please his family. He made a mistake before and now is paying the price. He doesn’t think he deserves a happy ending. He feels that work is his only way. After all the women he has been with and how they burned him he now feels that relationships isn’t for him. Although with Hannah we see that this changes.

Hannah is the quiet sweet girl who has dealt with a lot in life. She is wary of others. So meeting Cade online was safe for her. They soon build up a sensual affair and now are meeting. Her rules inhibit things so she can protect herself. But more and more time spent and learning about the man Cade has her walls crumble. She still sticks to some of her guns though because she lets men from the past in her head and her insecurities rise up. that and Cade’s selfish ex who is a total evil woman.

watching Cade and Hannah together is like seeing a jigsaw puzzle come together. We start with the superficial edges to get the framework and slowly get the depth of the puzzle. They slowly slip pieces of themselves to one another and fall in love. We see them tell each other intimate things and find friendship and trust for each other. In time love fits into the pieces and it is Cade fighting to show Hannah that they should have more.

the interaction of these two characters is sweet, intimate and also hot. When the whole puzzle is together we get a couple in which both pieces have been through alot and are wary of relationships but learn with the trust and faith of the other to let that go and fall in love. We get tender moments, fun moments and we get moments in which they each must face themselves and make choices about who they are and what they want. Truly a wonderful story of love and letting go and learning to trust so love can blossom.

Wow, what an extremely good book. As it started off I thought okay another erotica. Well, once you get into it the characters grab you and hold on. You realize you don’t want them to let go either.
You see you have Hannah Miller, 25, who was raised in the foster care system. After being hit in a car by a drunk driver. She has scars many place on her body for life but the worst scar was to her heart because her parents died in the crash. She was bounced around until she was sixteen and then she was put in a group home until eighteen.
From there she had nowhere to go because they put you out. She lived on the street. Until the money kicked in from the inheritance her parents set aside for her. With that she found a place to live and went to college getting an English degree. She went to work at a publishing company where she met her best friend Maddie.
The put their money together and went into business and bought a bookstore once Maddie saw all the rare books Hannah’s mother had left her. Her mom was a librarian. During her freshman year, even with her scars on her face and body she met a guy Dane her freshman year at college. They were together for five years and then one and a half years ago, when he announced he was getting married. He said his new fiancé, well in case you missed it he was dating while living with Hannah, was less vanilla in bed.
She started filling her nights with an online chat room that was a book club for a novel and then one for an erotica that she had just started selling that was a hot ticket item. She never usually read things on BDSM but this book was selling like hot cakes. She met a guy in each chat rooms with the same handle bikerboy357 they really started debating the erotica book hard.
That one day they decided to break off from the group and when they did that is when it got interesting. You see that handle belonged to lawyer Cade McKenzie he kept taking the opposite view of Hannah just to rile her up. He liked she never backed down. Eventually, they became better friends but never revealing their names. Just where they were from and what they did. Otherwise all subjects were open. Even sex.
Which took it up a notch. You see they got each other off. Until one night Cade decided to push it and asked if he could call her. He was tired of just typing out their sex games. He wanted to hear her. She got scared she couldn’t protect her heart that way. After much talking back and forth she agreed. The next thing she knew she agreed to meet him when he was coming into town in two weeks for two weeks. He said he was going to Seattle from California would meet her at the Needle he would be wearing a red tie she could decide if she wanted to meet him or not then.
The thing that was scaring her was that he was expecting a tall, blonde, willowy, big breasted and had a pixie haircut. She was short, wide hips, smaller breasted, brown hair and eyes. Not to mention her scars. She agrees to one day, no strings, no dates, no emotions, no one gets hurt. Just sex. See how that works out.
See just how bold or is it insecure they both are to make such an agreement. It never matters on what side of the street you come from we all have our fears and triumphs. I give this: 5++++ stars. Provided by netgalley.com. Follow us at:

What a hot, sexy, pretty awesome billionaire romance this was to read. I will admit I thought the story was going to start out with an auction, however that the twist to his “bidding for the billionaire” story.
Hannah is a nerdy bookstore owner. Cade is a sexy lawyer heir to billions. Cade lives in San Diego. Hannah lives in Seattle. They have found the perfect match in each other. Hannah is having the best sexy romantic relationship. She has a man who craves her all day; anticipates to hear her voice and stirs his libido. Not only does he read but he reads sexy romance novels and loves to debate about them. Who knew? Right!
Long distance relationships are so hard to maintain. But they are having a great time with each other. As time goes by, Cade is unquestionable convinced she is the perfect woman with the perfect sexy voice and the perfect sexy libido.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention how they meet: An online chatroom. Yes, they are hot and heavy for each and never met. They only know each other’s voice. Cade can’t even see the perfect lingerie Hannah buys for him to enjoy. There lies the rub.

Hannah is seeking solace from a cheating boyfriend. Cade is seeking solace from meeting future Mrs. Money Bags/Gold Diggers. Each have found relief in online chatrooms. However, each night the phone sex is getting hotter, bolder and more addicting. Each message becomes more adventurous and racy and allow them to live out their fantasies.

It’s s0 addictive that Cade needs to hear her voice and aches to meet her. However, Hannah’s self-esteem has created doubt and taken a beating. When Cade finally convinces her they should meet, her life becomes full of twists and turns. The more she tries to stay away from situations where she will be judge, the more Cade pulls her in.
I have to admit, as Hannah navigates this new found interest, her judgmental inner voice becomes a freaking broken record. She will make you angry and frustrated. I wanted to reach inside my kindle and shake her and shout “Look at him, he wants you girlfriend, just go with it”

The dialogue between Hannah and Cade is laugh until it hurts out loud. It’s a heartwarming story about self-discovery, positive thinking and acceptance of what can and can’t be changed.
While Cade continues to romance her, he challenges her at every turn. He constantly spends his time vowing “he not that guy” He constantly convinces
her to stop fighting their desire for each other and delight in their mind blowing sex.
It’s all harmless and flirtatious fantasy until they meet. The elation of their first meeting was excruciating exciting. I was awesomely eager for them to finally meet. In closing, they each learn how forgiveness can release oneself and others from judgments and criticisms.

But even as every delicious encounter makes Cade want Hannah more, what he wants most is her trust.

It’s something all his money can’t buy. And now, Cade will do anything to earn it.

Review:

An online romance brings Cade and Hannah together. Online they share everything and miss each other when not available so when Cade asks to meet Hannah against her better judgement agrees. Meeting only confirms their chemistry but both must confront their baggage before the relationship can move on. Cade is reluctant to trust and although Hannah seems to accept him and not his worth he still doubts. Hannah on the other hand is physically scarred and isn’t the size 2 that Cade is used to being with. How would she be able to fit into his world?

I liked this story because it delved into the feelings of both the characters. Like real life even if everything is great life can and will get in the way. The author took the time to let the reader know the anxieties and fears that each character had and allowed the love story to take the background until each story was told. Although the chemistry and sex was prevalent it didn’t dominate the story so that the characters became shallow.

The flow was good and kept me interested and reading until the end without immediately guessing the outcome and losing interest. I look forward to more stories by JM Stewart and will definitely recommend this to others.

After reading the synopsis for this story, I thought this was going to be a light-hearted and fun romantic story.

It's not.

It's so much better.

Both Cade and Hannah have their reasons why they've decided to remove themselves from the dating population. Cade is still reeling from the devastation of being betrayed in the worst possible way by his ex-fiance (that skank!), and Hannah's reason stems from the lack of self-esteem she has over her physical appearance with the scars she received as a teenager.

I thoroughly enjoyed both Cade and Hannah; one thing that impressed me was that Cade recognized exactly what it was that women wanted from him and that's not what he wanted in a relationship. There aren't enough ways I can say that Cade wasn't about playing games when it comes to matters of the heart; there was none of the stupid "I want you but I'm going to pretend I don't and date eleventy-two other women in your face" games.

It was also easy to understand Hannah's reluctance to finally meet Cade in person, after being the victim of bullying for a good portion of her life. Even after their meeting, Hannah always played it cautious waiting for the shoe to drop and for Cade to be disgusted with her looks. Thankfully he saw her and that was the deciding factor for him. He accepted her scars as being a part of her, not something to be disgusted by because they didn't define her as a person.

But he damn sure had his work cut out for him trying to get her to understand that tidbit about his feelings.

The secondary characters in this story were a lot of fun as well, and thankfully this story didn't get bogged down in trivial details that weren't important to the main plot. Big points that there are only 3 secondary characters, Cade's twin sister Christina, his former best friend Sebastian and Hannah's best friend Maddie. There's something between Christina and Sebastian, and we got just enough to bait the interest in the next book in the series, and I can't wait to read it. I would recommend this book if you're looking for a story about two souls who have real-world issues, and what they do to come to grips with said issues while falling in love along the way.

Hannah has had a rough life. After being injured in the accident that killed her parents when she was 14, she learned the hard way that people left . And it was reinforced when she found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her when he announced he was getting married. So she decided to just run her bookstore and just live alone. It's better than having all her scars on display, just to be left again.
That is, until one night she gets into a debate with "bikerboy357" on a discussion board for a popular erotic romance series. Which became a genuine friendship online that eventually turned erotic in its own right.

But then he asks to meet, and things get real in real life.

Cade feels like he is drowning in his life. The son of a billionaire, he has worked hard to live up to his father's expectations. Which turned out to be a good thing when he finds his fiancee in bed with his best friend. Because now he can cut relationships out of his life, and just concentrate on work. After a betrayal like that, he's learned its less messy. No more having to worry that the woman he's with is just after his money, no more having to deal with the women his mother pushes at him, no more getting hurt. But then he starts talking to a woman he met online, and she likes him for him. They can talk about anything, and there's no ulterior motive. And when things turn erotic, he decides that he wants to meet this woman who has captivated him without even knowing her name. So he asks her to meet.

But that's just the beginning.

I don't know how Ms Stewart's books have managed to slip past me until I came across this one, but she sure has my attention now. This book had everything that I could want in a great romance novel. Cade & Hannah were likable, if a little damaged. The chemistry was off the charts, and you just BELIEVED these characters. There was just something so real & honest about them that I'm hooked. Now if you will excuse me, I'm off to go stalk the rest of her books!

I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK! This book was great. I can’t say anything bad about this book. The writing was spectacular and easy to understand and follow. Everything was detailed enough to make me feel like I was there in the book and following what was going on. I was excited to read this because it pertains to today’s online dating scene. I was able to relate to this book in that sense and reading the emotions that the female lead went through I have experienced myself. I wasn’t expecting the twists that this book had. Hannah the female lead was adorable and real. You could definitely see yourself in her shoes. She was so determined not to fall in love and it was pure joy watch that unfold. Cade was awesome! He put the romance back on the map for me. He was so loving and trusting, but most of all he was head over heels in love with Hannah. It was great. One of the best scenes is when they reveal their pasts to each other. It was very tender and emotional. You were right there along with the characters. I also loved the very end…true and pure romance. I actually sighed at the end. I was swept away and breathless. I ended up jealous of Hannah! The naughty scenes were just that…naughty. Very spicy and very believable. They left you squirming in your seat. I was glad to see that “problems” that were caused within the story line were resolved quickly. The emotional scenes made me grab a tissue. I loved the fact that the narration was alternating. I like hearing from the male’s point of view. You are able to get the whole picture and be able to immerse yourself in the book. The secondary characters played an excellent role to back up the main characters and the author created the perfect set-up for the next book for the next two characters, which I am excited to see the story behind those two! I would absolutely recommend this book to everyone who loves a good romance novel!

Bidding on the Billionaire is book one in the Seattle Bachelors series. I loved that the story focused on two people who met online and are having an internet based "relationship" are our stars. It all started because Hannah Miller, a bookstore owner that specializes in rare books wound up stocking more in demand books, genres like erotica. She wants to be able to know what she's stocking so she read a hot new release and wound up in a forum/chat room and disagreeing with someone's viewpoint. Enter Cade MacKenzie, he's a super wealthy lawyer that's been burned in the past. I love that his character is an erotica reader, you don't see that much in books! Anyway, work brings Cade to Seattle, where Hannah lives and he convinces her that they should meet up. Mind you they've never seen each other in person, they've just known each other via instant messenger, no pictures, nothing. Secrets pop up, lies are revealed and passion is full force.

Our story starts off steamy and gets scorching hot as it progresses. I had never read a JM Stewart book before, but I'm a fan now! I did feel it was a bit lighter on the billionaire flash that we normally see in this type of book, which I'm thankful for. Some of my favorite bits in the story were the characters themselves. They're both damaged from being burned in the past, but they make a great pair together. I also really liked that they met online, it felt a bit more realistic to how a lot of people currently meet, though I'm sure not too many meets while arguing over erotica. Lastly, I love when rules are laid down that it would be no strings attached. I like to see who is the first to realize that they do want strings. All in all, I really enjoyed Bidding on the Billionaire and suggest it if you're looking for a different type of billionaire book.

Hannah Miller has found she prefers online dating to meeting first in person. Most Recently she has met this guy online by the screen name “bikerboy357" . This guy really has got her attention and he wants to meet in person. Hannah is hesitant but something has her really wanting to meet.

Cade McKenzie has taken to this online dating. He has been chatting with a woman who goes by the online name of "H", his online lover. She prefers this meeting online to in person but he wants to now meet in person but she is very hesitant. Cade understands the whole staying behind the computer screen due to something that happened to him in the past. But now he really wants to meet. Cade knows she will be fabulous in person, if only he can get her to accept a meet.
Cade asks Hannah to meet him, and after some strong convincing (i.e. begging) she agrees. How he did it was to give them two weeks of pleasure, no other rules or engagements. Oh and how wonderful their time was together. It was pure fire and chemistry. They really connected and their feelings were engaged although they didn’t want to admit it. Hannah was the most conflicted of the two and she fought her feelings. There was several twists and turns to this story but the ending was so great. Cade and Hannah are awesome and their chemistry was out of this world HAWT! I know at times I wanted to smack Cade while shake some sense into Hannah—it all worked out great.
I loved several of the secondary characters –I cannot wait to read books 2 & 3 in this series. I can tell they are going to be great book.

My rating: 4.7 stars *****

Bidding on the Billionaire is JM Stewart’s first book in The Seattle Bachelors Series. I was hooked from the outset. From the opening pages, I fell in love with Maddie. She had so many insecurities between losing her parents in a car accident that caused her both emotional and physical scarring and dealing with a lost first love Maddie’s character was one you wanted to cheer for. You wanted her to find someone that would help her deal with all of the baggage she was carrying. And she found that with Cade.

Cade was a successful lawyer that was also dealing with his own lost love. He’d lost his fiancée but also felt controlled by his father. Maddie and Cade met on a message board discussing a book. They chatted almost nightly and shared truths with each other they didn’t feel comfortable sharing with anyone else.

And then one night, Cade wanted to change it up. He wanted to speak with her directly on the telephone. Once they spoke, neither Cade nor Maddie could go back. What they found neither was looking for. Maddie promised two weeks but Cade wanted so much more. And in the end, did Cade get his wish? Did he get more than two weeks? And did Maddie learn to deal with her physical scars and learn to trust again?

Billing on the Billionaire was one of those books that had me from the get go. I found myself cheering for both Cade and Maddie. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for Ms. Stewart’s next release in the series. I’d like to disclose that I received a copy of Bidding on the Billionaire in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I received and ARC of this book for an honest review.

Hannah Miller has been used and called due to her appearance by men in the past so she has major trust issues where men are concerned, when she starts to 'chat' to bikerboy357 about a book they have both read and they start to have real discussions on books, life and their wants she finds that this way of dating does not hurt and she can be who she really is and lose all her inhibitions as they have not swapped real names and they go by their chat room names.

Cade MacKenzie is a Billionaire and has been taken advantage of in the past so he is gun shy with women as they generally only want him for his money or position, however he feels comfortable chatting to H, she does not know him so he knows their discussions are real. After months of chatting every day Cade asks Hannah can he call her.

When Cade asks Hannah can he call her, she does not know what to do as she wants to hear his voice but she is frightened so Cade puts the ball in her court and gives her is number.

Well the saying is- one thing leads to another and the online dating leads to meeting in person. One little hitch though Hannah had told Cade she is Blonde with long legs as she perceives this to be what men want and she is not.

This story is about trust, friendship, healing, romance, love and finding the one. It is also a HOT one. I loved the way this story pans out and how the secondary characters are involved, I am now waiting with baited breath for the next installment. WOW Joanne Stewart what an amazing book.

Hannah trust very few people in her life. It's easier for her to hide behind a computer screen then be honest about certain things, the biggest secret she hiding has proven that most people will run from her because of it she keeps things close to her heart and people at arms length. When she comes face to face with someone who just may be different she starts to question every wall she has put in place. The biggest one is can she trust him?
Cade is use to people using him and his heart being broken so when he meets Hannah she's safe and he knows nothing more can come of it. However he knows she lied to him and he starts to wonder if she's lying about anything else and if she can be trusted with his deepest secrets.
This book is pretty intense with emotions and with sexual chemistry. The author held nothing back with these two at all while there was a lot of adult scenes in this book, the book was not souly that. The story line was well written and kept your attention through out. I think if I had to pick one thing about this book to change I wish for more light hearted situations like there was between Christina and pretty much anyone she interacted with in the book. It just added to who she was and added a fun element to the storyline. This book is HOT and heavy for sure. As I warn with most books like this, it may not be for everyone but its worth the read for the right person and you can't go wrong. Can't wait more from this group of books and I am so looking forward to reading Christina's story (hopefully soon).

Bidding on the Billionaire (Seattle Bachelors #1)
By J.M Stewart.
Being anonymous on the internet is one thing, but to actually meet the person you have been having an internet affair with? (I guess that is what it would be called.)
Hannah started chatting with bikerboy357 (357 are my lucky numbers) she liked that is was safe, Anonymous and she can be invisible. Hannah chatted away with him, told more then she told anyone, he was safe, he didn’t know her, she didn’t know him.
Cade was tired of all the women just wanting to be with him for status quo or for his money. He worked hard and when he got into an argument about a popular erotic book online he didn’t realize that there could be more. He was totally addicted to this human on the other side of the chat room.
Then one day after six months he wanted to talk to her on the phone. Hannah wasn’t sure, I mean it was supposed to be anonymous and now he was changing the rules, little did she know he would be changing a lot of rules. Yes more rules and more to be broken.
I found I really liked this book. I loved the story, the whole romance and how it happened. The writing did an amazing job. This book was a little too steamy for me, but I just skip those parts and just loved the whole story-line. There was just something about the writing, how it all clicked, the author did well with the emotions and developing the characters. I can’t wait to read the next book.
I did receive a copy from Tasty book tours and NetGalley

Hannah had a hard life, as a teenager her family died and it left her alone and in the foster care system. Hannah had a scar on her face that always made her feel ugly. Her boyfriend cheated on her and she put her guard up and didn't want to date. She found Cade online and instantly they argued about a book they were reading. One thing lead to another and they were chatting on line. She never wanted to cross the line and meet in person. The online sex was off the charts. Cade wanted to meet in since he was going to be in her hometown but she was torn. She didn't tell him what she really looked like and wasn't sure she wanted to meet him but she went anyway, she had to know what he looked like in person. When they meet the attraction was still there but Hannah didn't want her heart broken she never let anyone in. She felt everyone she let in her life left and she couldn't handle that. The only person she let in was her best friend and co owner of her bookstore Maddie. They agreed on being together for the two weeks in town. Would they fall in love or would Hannah keep her guard up. Hannah is a sweet and you can't help but fall in love with her character. Cade is a rich hot man that you can't help but drool over. The story is hot and makes you want more, I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more from this author. A must read sexy romance. Reviewed on behalf of Once Upon an Alpha.
