Karalian warrior, Rikka, is devoted to his species and the Hier Council who rule them. He knows his loyalty is to the Karal first, his mission second and everything else is expendable.

But sent into deep space with a female from Earth, it is not only a new planet Rikka finds. He also discovers that his new found feelings for the woman who will be the mother of his child, will make him question everything about himself and his beliefs.

Having lived through a turbulent childhood, with a mentally unstable mother, Gaia is looking forward to settling down on Karal. When the trials, to find a woman to go into deep space, are announced, she has no interest in competing. Not even if the big brooding alien, Rikka, is the one she will be cooped up with for weeks on end.

Although, her imagination is more than willing to conjure up images of how they will entertain themselves for endless hours...

Yet when Okil explains what is at stake, and the other women are deemed unsuitable, will she be willing to travel into the unknown?

Journey into deep space with Rikka and Gaia, as they encounter alien craft, and learn that there are sinister forces in the universe, that will one day threaten everything they hold dear.

Contains scorching hot scenes between an alien and his mate, for adults only.

The Karal race are a race without females that have grown to partially despise females which honestly I just do not like. The story was great and the romance was good and all. The premise and attitudes of the males (that were bred into them) towards all females them are grating on me. I rated 3 1/2 stars because while I liked this series so far I did not like the premise of the Karal. Story was about 4 1/2 stars short but great.

Once Rikka had opened up to his love of Gaia the romance turned fantastic!!!

2.5

I wanted more of a relationship between the characters before they fell in love. The plot was interesting but was eye roll worthy in how everything fell into place. There are a couple typos.

Possible planet for humans found, but also a possible new enemy...

Gaia is one of the second seven lottery winners and the chosen mate of the second Kalain warrior space mission. Rikka and Gaia find a distressed ship as well as possible new planet for the humans, except their might also be a new enemy that Karal may need to watch for.

Four good reads. If you love Harmony Rained as her books are all well done. Warriors of Karla these men are a fun lot. At first they are big bad warriors then they turn in to puppy dogs that will love their women anywhere.

Ok

I'm not liking the Heir ruled right about now. His way of thinking is going down a path i don't think that I like and I don't think the women would either of they knew....

Harmony Raines is a genius in the fact that she can write about so many different topics and hit them bang on. Her alien series about the planet of Karal is Awesome. This second series is where Karal is keeping their word to Earth and they are trying to find a planet where a dying Earth can habitat and survive. this second book finds the Karalan Warrior trying to get him and his human female back to Karal safe.

Karalan warrior, Rikka, is devoted to his species and the Hier Council who rule them. He knows his loyalty is to the Karal first, his mission second and everything else is expendable or is it?

Gaia had a unstable childhood, with a mentally disturbed mother, Gaia is looking forward to settling down on Karal until she finds out about the trials, to find a woman to go into deep space. She doesn't want to go, much less compete. . Not even if the big brooding alien, Rikka, is the one she will be cooped up with for weeks on end. When she talks to Okil and he explains what is at stake, Gaia wonders if she could do this, even if she can think of really enjoyable ways she and Rikka could keep busy on this outer space journey. So she agrees to accompany Rikka into outer space.

Journey into deep space with Rikka and Gaia, as they encounter alien craft, and learn that there are sinister forces in the universe, that will one day threaten everything they hold dear Oh and don't forget the hot sex scenes that happen between Gaia and Rikka.

Plenty to read about and plenty more surprises in the book. You must read it to find out. I will not spoil the book for you except to say....OMG the sex scenes.....Enjoy!!!!!

I could go on and and give a general summary of the book like I usually do, but trust me, if you've read the first of this series or even on of the other Karal books you already know the plot.

I wish we could see something new happen! I also didn't like how Rikka went from being so annoyed and repulsed by the humans, and not making any attempt to cover this to just falling in love with Gaia.

It's a $.99 book and I guess you get what you pay for. A decent story line that's been used in all the others books of the series, terrible character leads, and no real emotion development.
Sorry =(

Another wonderful addition to the series by Harmony RAINES. Each book brings more definition to the storyline and characters. Being an avid reader of different types of books by various authors have been very enjoyable experience. HARMONY RAINES has a wonderfully charismatic creative way of writing to bring her readers into the imaginary worlds of her charismatic characters. So check out this whole fantastic series and enjoy it with me!

Really good

I'm hooked on this series. Like how they rescued a stranded ship. Just not sure about how the ending had a twist to it that makes you hope the rest of the series ends with a happily ever after.

A quick easy read. Writing flows and the story doesn't lag anywhere but I'm still not feeling an emotional connection in this series.

It may be BBW but women aren't described as such.

The alien Lottery is still proceeding on Earh and new women keep coming to Karal to breed. The warriors command the space crusiers they also protect the Hier Counsel. This is about Warrior Rikka and human lottery winner Gaia. They are going into outer space together to look for another planet that Earths population can be transferred to. Along the way they see an unknown ship that contains 10 lifeforms. They say their running out of air in their life support. Can they help them or maybe lose their own life? This was a great read and well worth you reading it to find out the answer.
