He was arrogant.
He was beautiful.
He was to be her one night fix.

She was gorgeous.
She was haunted.
She was to be his temporary muse.

Millicent Valentine isn't looking for much when she walks into The Brew Cycle for a night out with friends. She isn't after love. Why risk the heartache when one night of unbridled passion will do the trick? Any handsome, willing male will do just fine. When she is introduced to the lead singer of Mountains & Men, she can't seem to take her eyes off of him. He’s an arrogant little shit—but it’s only one night, right?

Sage McCoy is always on the prowl, knowing he can get just about any girl in the room after a night on stage. When he’s introduced to Millie, there is no doubt in his mind that he has to have her. But when he gets her alone, she makes his heart sing. Now, he’s convinced one night will never do.

When morning dawns, the knowledge that comes with the sun has Millicent kicking Sage to the curb—but he knows what he wants and he’s ready for the chase.

His one night stand is worthy of an encore.

5 STARS!
I see the demons in her eyes and I know we'll dance.
This was EXACTLY my kind of story. It was filled with just enough angst, drama, super hot sex, and multi-dimensional characters to keep me in a swoony fugue state for almost the entire time I spent reading it.

Rockers aren't generally my favorite bad boys, but I'll make an exception for Sage McAvoy. Sigh. He's exactly how all alphas should be written - cocky, demanding, and sexy as hell, but with a soft side. Add in some tattoos and that he whisper-sings in Millie's ear occasionally and I'm a goner.

And Millie made for a great heroine. People aren't her favorite thing. She's been concentrating on her career and avoids attachments - at least until Sage sets his sights on her. But she's a smart girl. She knows Sage, or any other man for that matter, isn't the kind to stick around for the long term, and she'd rather not get involved.

Encore Worthy depicts the beginnings of Sage and Millie's relationship - and is 100% worth reading, in my humble opinion.

Encore Worthy is an addictive read. Rockstar romances aren't my favorite genre because usually they are full of angst. This did have some but it wasn't over the top and it felt believable. Sage at first he seems like the typical manwhore rockstar but he is turning out to be a lot more than that. I love that he knows what he wants and goes after it whether it be his music dream or Millie. He definitely has some swoon worthy moments. Millie is so guarded. I think when I find out why she has so many walls up it will be easier to connect with her. Overall I thought it was a great start to this series and I can't wait for more of Sage and Millie.

5 ENCORE WORTHY STARS!!!

I swear. With each book I read from this amazingly talented author, I fall madder and more deeply in LOVE. Oh my goodness! I fell hard for these two! I just couldn’t get enough! They’re so fun! Sexy! Hot! Hot! Hot! And I absolutely LOVE RC Martin’s writing! Her story telling always pull you in and you cannot break free. I was entranced!

Sage. My. Oh. My. He’s a dirty boy, with a heart of gold. And he knows what he wants, and that’s Millie. I met Millie and Sage in So Much More. I did NOT like Millie AT ALL. Well. I cannot believe I’m going to say this but...I LOVED HER IN THIS BOOK! She’s a feisty girl and together these two make the most fun and hot couple!

OMFG. These two. So steamy together I needed a cold shower! Many times!! Ahhh!!! Omg the sparks between these two? I felt SINGED from their sexplosion! Bam! There was one moment my stomach dropped. Ack! And then, my love for Sage grew even more. I just don’t know what else to say about him! My heart swelled, warmed and blew up! I’ve got MAD love for this guy AND this girl! Together, they just stole my heart!

This novella is short and sweet and packs an emotional punch to the heart! It gave me all the feels! I can’t stop gushing about it! I can tell already, I’m going to love the next book. This was just a taste. Now I need MORE! What a great introduction to this couple. Another wonderful read by R.C. Martin! Totally Encore Worthy!!

Disclosure: I received a copy from the author/publisher, in exchange for an honest review. This does not influence my review in any shape or form.

Encore Worthy is the beginning of the spin off series called Mountains & Men. You meet Sage and Millie in book three of the Made for Love series. It was the book I was crossing my fingers that R.C. Martin would write. I absolutely loved the glimpses of Sage I received in So Much More and was really excited to finally get to see Sage front and center.

I loved how Encore Worthy was different than the Made for Love series. It was definitely sexier, set your fire alarms off sexier. It’s also edgier. I can’t really describe it accurately unless you have read her Made For Love series (which I highly recommend), you can see the difference and feel it.

Sage drew me in from the beginning, he had me smiling and blushing. I loved how secure of himself he was and how he knew what he wanted despite the fact that he is just 21 and let’s face it most 21 year olds are not that mature. I loved his dedication to the band and how much he knew he wanted to make it big.

Millie was always harder for me to get to like because she was always so closed off. She still is in Encore Worthy but I do love how she starts opening up and showing herself. I think she’s going to be my favorite character when we get to read their entire book.

Encore Worthy is more of prequel to Sage and Millie’s story. It let’s you see how their story started so that when you do get to read their full-length novel. The story was sexy (I’d expect nothing less from Sage) and it left me wanting more. I absolutely cannot wait to read more of Sage and Millie.

One night for Millie isn't enough nights in Sage's opinion, especially when the lyrics to a new song just come to life by looking at her. Her haunted eyes don't scare him away and he's going to convince her to give him a shot, even though she's known best for pushing everyone away.

"I see the demons in her eyes and I know we'll dance..."

Wow! Is it hot in here or what? I have read one other R.C. Martin book, So Much More, but after finishing it I knew I had a new author to add to my favorites list. When the opportunity came along to read Encore Worthy I said yes right away, but I definitely wasn't expecting what I got. Encore Worthy is the novella that begins the new Mountains & Men series, a spin off of the Made for Love series. While I loved the sweetness in So Much More, I more than loved the steam in Encore Worthy. The chemistry and smut in this book will make you blush and totally want it for yourself.

The main characters, Millie and Sage, are not the kind of characters you would put together. In fact, Millie wasn't a character I really wanted to get to know at all, but Sage was. Millie is a tough one to read, she's got a past we don't know about and a tough outer shell that locks everyone out. While we saw her come out a bit in So Much More, Encore Worthy allowed us a closer look into who she really is and it made me want to know more about her. Then there's Sage, he's hot, nerdy, arrogant, covered in tattoos, and knows how to sing. I mean really sing, even in bed. While his initial reaction to Millie is that of a man wanting to get laid, it becomes so much more as she transforms into his muse and then into something more. He's a total sweetheart and landed himself immediately in my book boyfriend list. While this novella moves quickly, it introduces you to all the characters you need to know in this series and lets you know right away this series, and this specific relationship, will be of the steamy variety.

"My feet, my arms, my lips—they all conspire against me and in one step, my body is in reaching distance of his; in one second, my arms are circled around his neck; in one breath, my mouth is pressed against his—and before I can make sense of what in the hell I’m doing, he’s crushing me against him as his tongue invades my mouth in the most delicious way"

The best part of this novella is that now we know we're going to get another book that focuses on Millie and Sage, because there is absolutely so much more to know about them. They're both multi-dimensional characters with pasts we don't understand yet and while Millie is happy without love, Sage always has a big plan for everything. They're total opposites and yet you'll be swooning right alongside Millie when Sage is there for her when she needs him to be. I love the rockstar portion of this book, as well as the friendships we are introduced to. I'm looking forward to a lot more from the men of Mountains & Men. You don't have to read any of the novels in the previous series in order to read Encore Worthy, but I highly suggest you do. While Encore Worthy is definitely a sexier book from R.C. Martin, her writing is excellent and the characters really come to life.

4.5 DOLL FACE STARS!!!

"I DON’T BELIEVE IN love at first sight. Love is messy. It’s complicated. It’s fucking crazy. How can you tell, with just one look, that you’re staring at someone you love? How can you guess, in just one moment, that you’ll go through shit and back just to make her smile? Can you seriously guarantee, without even knowing her name, that you’re ready to take on her demons? In an instant, are you brave enough to give her yours?"

Sage - a tattoed, arrogant...beautiful...gets any woman he wants..Millie - beautiful...haunted...never goes after love...
Just one night of heated passion..and then it was never enough.

Sexy!Hilarious!Awesome! This is My first R.C Martin book and I was like Wow!!!
I never thought I could love a book just based on a series introduction. It was a fun and sweet read that got me hooked right from the start. I never had dull moments. And the scenes just got me heated! This had me aching for more of their story...I was intrigued...interested and a little bit frustrated because I wanted to read the next book as in ASAP! Because holy guacamole...this is more than just that sizzling hot scenes...more than just that love at first sight...more than just being the muse...arghhh... that's what I'm dying to know..
Really I can't wait for the continuation of their story. Like seriously this lines just got me.

"I see the demons in your eyes and I want to dance Can’t stop the beat I hear from one haunted glance Take my hand, baby, don’t let go I’ll set you free, baby, won’t let go All night/ One song This room/ My home I’ll set you free, baby, don’t let go Tonight/ Just give me tonight"

5 sizzling hot-rocker stars

Encore Worthy is the opening novella of the Mountains and Men series by Author R. C. Martin. It is a rock star and budding friends-to-lovers romance story that I absolutely loved.

"I don't believe in love at first sight. Love is messy. It's complicated."

We were initially introduced to Millie and Sage in So Much More. They are both two forces to be reckoned with, and those forces together make for the perfect storm. Sage has dreams of one day becoming a household name. Millie is content to be an unknown and just blend into the background. The sizzle and burn throughout each page brings us a couple that we yearn for more of.

"I wanted to get lost in the notes of her melody."

Told in dual points of view, Encore Worthy was a quick and passion-filled novella. It was the perfect opening book to this series. It had heat, great main and secondary characters, and…HOT ROCKERS! I fell in lust with Sage McCoy. The man melted my heart and made me swoon. Millie was a great choice for him because she just wanted to run from all that she knew lit her fire; she was multi-dimensional and had a vulnerability that endeared me to her. She became Sages muse and brought a sweet and sexy melody to his life. He, in turn, became her intoxication, bringing her pleasure and joy that she had previously not known. I am so excited to get more from this couple and series.

MY THOUGHTS:
I must say I love a great musician and muse love story and let me tell you this one didn’t disappoint. This is the first time I have read this author and it definitely won’t be my last. I sat down to read this novella and I flew through it! I just couldn’t put it down and when I finished it I was ready to dive into the next book! Thank goodness, it’s out! This series is all about Sage and Millie and their journey as well as his band Mountains & Men.

Mountains & Men are getting close to realizing their dream of stardom. They are playing at an all-time high. Sounding better than they ever have before. Sage will die trying before he gives up his dream of making it big.

Millie is definitely a damaged heroine with a fortress built around her guarding her heart. She lets very few people get close and comes across as a bitch most of the time. She is a brilliant bitch though! She is a math professor at the community college. She does hookups, but not relationships. There is too much at stake. Until she meets Sage!

Sage oh Sage! He is amazing! He is such a gifted musician, that one look at Millie’s haunted eyes and his muse was born. The lyrics just came to him and he had to have her. She played hard to get, but she was no match for this beautiful man and his sexy ways. It also helped that Millie’s roommate, Sarah is friends with Sage.

This book was screaming HOT! There is some push and pull between the Sage and Millie, as Millie is very stubborn and won’t give in and let go. The characters have you from the start and I was getting to know some of the characters in the band as well as Sage’s sisters. All great characters.

If you like rock star romance, then give this book a try! I am so ready to see how this journey continues with Sage and Millie.

Once you sit down to read this book, fair warning: pour yourself something strong, cold, and turn up the AC! Sage is sex on a stick. He is arrogant, confident, and he isn't afraid to go after what he wants when he sets his mind to it. Did I mention that Sage is a sexy beast? Beyond the arrogant exterior, Sage is a romantic in his own right. I promise that he will have you swooning and will quickly become your next book boyfriend.
Millie is the woman that the beautiful and mysterious woman that is tough to break. She is guarded, likes to keep things simple, and doesn't let many people in. She has her life in order and keeps love out of it. As she feels that love is messy. She prefers to be in control and call the shots when it comes to the men in her life.
What happens when a sexy rocker and a beautiful woman with a wounded heart cross paths? Plenty of heat, passion, and power struggles from within as the journey of Millie and Sage begin in this prequel of The Mountains & Men Series.
R.C. Martin has never ceased to amaze me with her writing. Just when I think that she has done a fantastic job delivering unforgettable characters in a series as she did with her Made For Love collection..here we are on another journey! I am looking forward to what is in store for Sage and Millie.

Love at First Song

"I've never sung to a woman in bed before." What a quote to hear from the man you're spending the night with; one night! "I'm a fucking man who knows exactly what I want." What a quote to hear from the man who has decided to stay in your life; wait! Like in forever?

R. C. Martin brings us the 0.5 novella in the Mountains and Men Series to introduce us to Millie and Sage's rhythmical love story.

Millie usually stays in on Saturdays, until one day she decides to accept Sarah's invitation. That night, she meets the singer of Mountains and Men; the same night Sage will listen to the lines of a new song when he meets Millicent. However, the complete song will come to life after they share Millie's bed for what was supposed to be a one-night stand.

Millie is not so sure to let Sage in her life despite his persistance to date her; she has some demons in her eyes and a past that keeps on hunting her. To make matters worse, there is an age gap between them that can bring their weak relationship to an end. Moreover, Millie wonders how much their difference in education would get on their way towards happiness.

Told in dual points of view, Encore Worthy opens the courtains and places us right on the stage with the members of Mountains and Men. Although this novella revolves around its singer and a calculus Professor, you can still catch a glimpse of the rest of the band as well.

You have to be warned, though. This novella will grab your heart to its very end just to discover it finishes with a cliffhanger. Complaints? Oh, no, on the contrary. It is part of a series, and you will definitely be singing Sage's song until book 1 is released, very soon.

Look after your emotions while reading this awesome story. Fall for the performer in horn/rimmed glasses who can bring as many orgasms as the year age gap between him and his muse. What will really matter is if Millie can overcome her fear of knowing if Sage is her undoing, or all the songs in the concert of her life.

Dear R.C. Martin, granted you didn't leave me hanging in a brutal way, however, I feel like you just abandoned me with the ending. So CONGRATS! You have made the list of authors trying to kill me! With that being said, this is the first book I've read by her, and I LOVED IT. Millicent Valentine isn't looking for anything more than a one night stand when she walks into The Brew Cycle with her roommate. What she got was so much more, after meeting Sage McCoy for the first time. The lead singer of Mountains & Men knows he can get any girl he wants, so that had Millie not wanting to become one of many groupies. After he meets her, he knows he has to have her, and will go to any lengths to make that happen. Will Millie let down her walls long enough for Sage to make her happy?

I LOVED Encore Worthy and wanted to cry when I finished it too quickly. The character development is very well done, as I wasn't thrown a bunch of stuff at once since it's a shorter story. An addicting, and well written story line flows effortlessly, and I devoured it in one sitting. The chemistry seriously flew off my kindle, leading to SMOKIN' HOT sexy scene goodness. I'm not going to sugar coat it, the next book can't come quickly enough, and I'm not sure how dignified I will be waiting. Do yourself a favor, and read Encore Worthy as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fell in love with musicians all over again!

If I weren't already in love with musicians, I would fall in love with them from just reading this story. I loved Sage and Millie. R.C. Martin is a new author for me, and I am so glad I had the chance to check her out. Her writing is great and characters memorable. Great start to a series!

FACT- I read this book during a 12 hour travel extravaganza . I was in three different states, on two different flights, and endured 2 hours driving through a torrential down pour with 2 toddlers. So let's just say there was a lot of stop & go while reading the story which maybe diluted some of the book's energy. After arriving home late, late last night I finished the story and felt a level of dissatisfaction because nothing really happened. Sure there were LOTS of fantastic sex scenes and some major character flaws that could make for an interesting story yet nothing.freaking.happened.

Millie is in her mid 20s, a professor at the local community college and harboring some pretty negative perceptions of love due to her parents' failed marriage. Sage is 21, has 2 sisters, a frenchie puppy and the lead singer & songwriter for the band "Mountains and "Men". (First, let me fan girl about what an AWESOME band name that is. Loves it!)

After a fabulous one-night sex marathon Millie kicks Sage out of her house after discovering their 5 year age gap. I thought this was potentially an interesting plot development and was intrigued to see how it would be resolved... yet this was never further explored beyond a few passing comments.

Further in the story Millie sees Sage with his sister and flirting with some of her friends. She is jealous and again I thought that this might cause more conflict and therefore more interesting storyline. Mere minutes later she is roofied by one of his bandmates and forgets the scene and it's never brought up again.

But wait! I wasn't ready to lose hope yet. When she's roofied I thought "THERE! That will be the climax of the story!" Especially when Sage starts punching his band mate I assumed this was when the story would take a more dynamic or dramatic turn. Turns out he takes Millie home and that's the end of it. Of course he looks for a new bass player but the police were never involved, there is no drama with the creepy band mate trying to get back in the band or harassing Millie any further. It was another dead end.

My expectation was that this story would serve as precursor for readers. Basically something so enticing that once they dipped their toe into the story they want to dive into the rest of the series. I did not have this reaction. It needed something more catchy, edgy or dynamic to really entice me to finish the series. It's a sweet little story but truly needed a little bit more pizzazz.

Encore Worthy is Millicent Valentine (Millie) and Sage McCoy's story. This story is really a prequel to the Mountains & Men series. What starts as a one night stand, ends up being more.

Sage is a tattooed, sexy, arrogant, sweet and kind of nerdy musician. He's completely endearing, and I loved his character.

Millie has insecurities, and is haunted by her past when it comes to relationships, trust and love. She's very closed off and at first I wasn't sure if I liked her, but as the story progressed I grew to really like her complex character.

Overall this is a well written, hot, steamy and thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining read. Encore Worthy is a fun, sweet, unique and at time humorous read. I loved the banter and friendship between the members of the band and can't wait to see more of the Mountains and Men. This was my first time reading anything by R.C. Martin and it will not be my last.

His one night stand is worthy of an encore.

Mountains & Men are a group made up of six members. While this novella is giving us just a glimpse, the beginning of Sage, the lead singer and Millie's story, I can't help but be a little hopeful that we will adventually get to know each member a little better.
This is the first book that I have read written by this author, but I can definitely tell you that I will be starting from the beginning and reading them all. Encore Worthy, in my opinion, is more than five star worthy.

"Sage, he's a streak of light...blue, like the hottest part of a flame."

Sage, he's young, he's hot, he's every girls wet dream. He is in a band, after all. Don't let his age or his career of choice get in the way though, he may be just twenty one, but he knows what he wants and doesn't appear to have a problem going after it.

"I'll set you free, baby, don't let go. Tonight, just give me tonight"

He's bossy and I don't know how much I like it

"Tonight, your orgasms belong to me. Got it, doll?"

Millicent is just a bit older than Sage, she's a college professor and Sage can see the demons in her eyes. He knows that she is hiding behind walls. But he can't help himself. One night is not enough.

“She’s like a song, Rosy. I’m just not done listening.”

Love is messy. It's complicated.

I am looking very forward to the next book in this series, Worthy of the Harmony, to get much more of Sage and Millie's story. Until then, I will busy myself reading the books that this author already has available.

Holy Hot Book!! I read this book as an ARC for an honest review, I almost did not get the book, but am I glad my admin got it, because I was fanning myself the entire time I was reading it!! This book is a spinoff from the Made for Love Series, which I have not read, but I will be looking on amazon today to buy it. Our characters Sage and Millie are introduced in book 3, and now have their own novella. Sage is a Alpha rock star who acts way older for age, and Millie is a girl who spends her Saturday’s at home with netflix and phone calls from her mother, which her hates. She changes her routine up one Saturday to go to the bar with her roommate, and Sage and Mille meet, a one night stand occurs and Sage wants more.

This book has it all, it's steamy, funny, and sweet roller coasters. I love the interactions between Sage and his sisters and nieces and nephews. I hope my 3 children have the same bond when they are adults.

This story is told in alternating POV between Sage and Mille, my favorite way to read a book.

I love Sage’s alpha side as well as his sweet side.
“There’s a fine line between arrogance and confidence. I toe the line, baby doll, but I never cross it. If there’s one thing I’m confident about right here, right now, it’s that your p@**y is wet for me and my d@ck is hard.”

This book has great character development with all the characters, and the humor Millie and Sage brings makes this a 5 star book. The ending is enough to make you happy with the characters, but still knowing things could change, because we have yet to learn Millie’s secrets. The best part, this is just a novella and the book is out spring 2016, I cannot wait!!!!! It will definitely be on my pre order list.

This is the first time reading anything by R.C.Martin ,but this is one hot steamy story ,that I thoroughly enjoyed. Millie is guarded. She's doesn't let people in. She knows better than to love again. She thought one night with Sage would scratch the itch then she'd move on. But Sage has other plans in mind.

Sage is a hot, dirty talking rock-star and don't get me started on those horn-rimmed glasses.

"those icy blue eyes, framed in those horn-rimmed glasses. Who the fuck looks sexy in those things?"

Sage that's who!

He's possessive and when he sees what he wants, he gets it. He not only knew that he wanted Millie, he also knew he would have her. No questions asked.

"I know already I’ll get what I want. She won’t make it easy, but the truth is in her eyes."

I freaking LOVE Sage. He's just got it all--he's hot, he can sing and he has a heart of gold. I love the interaction between him and his family as well as his band. Millie is a different story. She and I have a love/hate relationship. It's very clear that she's been hurt in the past so I can't fault her for that but her mood swings seriously gave me whiplash. I can't wait to see how she grows as the series continues.

RC Martin never fails to surprise me when it comes to her writing. Encore Worthy is very different from any other book that she's written so far. She has taken her writing to a whole new level with Sage & Millie. I love the fact that she's not one dimensional when it comes to her books and that is very clear with Encore Worthy. This isn't your typical rock-star romance. The tug-of-war between Sage and Millie is hot yet entertaining. Their banter is comical, their chemistry is unmistakable, and their desire for each other is insatiable. I just couldn't get enough of these two!

Encore Worthy is a prequel novella so yes, there is a cliffhanger but I can't wait to see how this series unfolds.

BRAVO BRAVO this author needs to take a bow...wow what a wonderful book. It was fun, steamy, very funny, sweet, and had the best characters ever. To be honest I am not normally a fan of rocker books but I really loved this book. Sage, that sexy beast, is not like all the rockers I've read about, he's much cooler and more complex. He may be very tough and manly as hell, but still has a sweet and real side. I am still thinking about him now, a week later.

Warning: very hot book here must read near ice or AC to avoid overheating lol

"To deny my attraction to him would be a lie unworthy of the effort" ---Millicent

Millicent is such a fun character. She is funny, talks like most people think , and is so lucky to have met Sage.Normally she spends weekend nights at home chatting on the phone with her mom until she meets him. I loved that she was not slutty and did hang all over him at first but instead played hard to get. This was so fun and really built up the sexual tension woohoo. Sage, sexy man he is, is the lead singer in the group Mountains and Men. When he steps on stage people pay attention, even her. Sparks fly, tension is immediate, and music is made. But wait ....he only wants one night......

This is the fifth book I have read by this author RC Martin. I absolutely loved this book. Her writing is fast paced, funny, hot with a sweet side. Her way of showing us the love and feelings between her characters is impressive. And the way she always shows us the inner workings of her characters' minds is brilliant and funny, I love this so much. For this book, and all of hers so far, I definitely want no make that NEED an encore.

I received an arc of this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

A great start to the series

Sage is very like-able as the talented lead singer with drive and intelligence, and I loved his determination and the way music went through his head when he met Millie. I really liked Millie as well; she's intelligent and I found her tendency to speak her mind/slight social ineptitude endearing. She admits to her sexual attraction to Sage but is reluctant to get involved in a relationship for a number of reasons.

Mountains & Men is a spinoff of the Made for Love series and some characters do carry over; with the carryover and introducing all the band members, there were quite a few characters to keep track of, so I'm guessing having read the first series would help out there. Otherwise, I didn't have any issues starting with Encore Worthy without having read any of the Made for Love books first (though I will be going back to read the previous series).

While relatively short, the story is well-paced, with a plot that left me guessing. Generally well-written (I did notice a few typos but not enough to detract from the story), I really liked the way the author handled the language she used for her characters; Sage's thoughts and speech had musical references, while Millie's had a formal tone very in tune with the highly educated college professor she is. A really nice touch that added to the authenticity and development of the characters.

Sage and Millie's story continues in the next book as there are still a lot of outstanding issues; this book doesn't end in what I would consider a true cliffhanger, but is more of a HFN, and I'm looking forward to reading the next story. A great start to the series, 4.5 stars

Sage, tattooed dirty-talking bad boy, knows he can get any girl he wants. And he definitely wants Millicent (Millie). On the surface he is a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy, but deep down he has a heart of gold. He loves his sisters and thinks the world of his niece and nephews. Is he ready to prove to Millie that he is more than tattoos, attitude, and sex on legs?

Millicent has a tough exterior. At first she seems to be cold and overly controlling. She knows one thing for sure, she can get a man for a night, and that he won't be there the next day. Will she take a chance on the wild boy she thinks Sage is? Will he be able to convince her that he is man enough to be the one to prove her wrong?

Millie and Sage were first introduced in So Much More, book 3 in the Made For Love Series. I was completely intrigued by both of them and knew immediately I wanted more of their story. I was so excited to hear that not only will they get their own book, but that they will kick off their own series. The Mountains & Men series follows Sage's band with the same name. In Encore Worthy we get Sage and Millie's meeting from their respective points of view. New characters are introduced giving a glimpse of who we will be seeing in future books.

RC Martin really heats things up in this series introduction. The chemistry between Sage and Millie is palpable from the first time he lays eyes on her. You will definitely need a cool drink while reading this novella.

Encore Worthy is definitely worthy of 5 stars!

This is the first book that I have had the chance to read by R.C. Martin and I am excited to read more of her work. Encore Worthy is a quick, sexy as hell, funny read. It ca be read in just a few hours and it leaves you wanting more. It is well written and I loved the characters. How can any reader pass up a sexy as sin rock star!

Sage maybe young, 21 to be exact, but he knows what he wants and isn't afraid of a little hard work to get where he wants to go. And boy can he sing. Sage is used to getting any woman he wants, but when he meets Millie, the one night that they spend together just ins't enough. He has to have her for good. There is something about her that literally makes his heart sing and the words flow. Sage's character is strong, sexy, witty, charismatic, sweet, endearing and did I say sexy as hell!!! He knows how to romance a woman! I need a Sage in my life!

Millie has had her fair share of hurt and heartbreak. She is not looking for a relationship, but when she meets Sage and the night that they spend together is explosive, she has to wonder if she maybe has found the one that can break the walls that she has built around her heart. Sage is everything that a girl could want, but can Millie deal with the rock star lifestyle and trust him with her heart?

I loved both of these characters. Encore Worthy was so sexy, sweet and exciting. What a great start to a new series that no doubt will be smokin' hot! I cannot wait to read the next book and see where R.C leads us readers.

Sage McCoy is trying to find inspiration. Millicent “Millie” Valentine shows how life can change on a dime. It also effects how she interacts with people. Expect these two to be explicit about what they want from the other. Our author doesn’t leave it there. She adds in an interesting twist.

We have a woman who finds that she’s older than the man who is interested in her. If age wasn’t mentioned you would never know that was a problem. I wouldn’t consider it a May/December romance and she’s certainly not old enough to be considered a cougar. He surprised me at how mature he was for someone younger than his ladylove. This will not make you feel uncomfortable if you have issues with “older” women and a “younger” man. For me it’s a nonissue.

I found that this book is just a teaser. You get to the end when you realize that things aren’t completely resolved. This means that if you want to know more about our couple then you need to make sure to pick up a copy of Worthy of the Harmony. My only issue was that I don’t have a chance to listen to the music from Mountains and Men – especially since it seems that they write original music. It’s just the right length to get you hooked on this series. It will be interesting to see how their saga continues as each book unfolds.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

"I don't believe in love at first sight. Love is messy. It’s complicated. It’s fucking crazy."

Sage and Millie are from opposite worlds and in this book opposites attract - hard. This book is not only about the hot and steamy bedroom scenes (and kitchen and living room scenes lol), it's about looking deeper than what's on the surface of someone and falling in love with them. Millie is so closed off and has her heart safe behind an impenetrable wall. She thinks Sage is a playboy pretty boy that is immature. Sage is young, lighthearted, a brother to 2 over protective sisters a the lead singer in a band that is about to make it big...and Millie could care less. She wants one things and one thing only - a one night stand. But Sage has other ideas. The tug of war between these two and their emotions had me routing for them one minute and wanting Millie to kill Sage the next!

This is a novella so it's a very short introduction to Millie and Sage. It ends on what I like to call a soft cliffy - you're not left wondering if your favorite character is dead, but things are not tied up neat and tidy like everyone likes. This is the first RC Martin book I've read and it was an instant winner for me. This book is sexy, funny and left me wanting so much more. I'm looking forward the next installment in this budding romance!

Encore Worthy (Mountain & Men Series 0.5) by R.C. Martin
5 Stars..
Great start to this series, I was drawn in from the prologue and didn't want to put it down.

"There are demons in those eyes..."
"I see the demons in her eyes and I know we'll dance..."
Sage and Mille's beginning is hot, steamy, and truly.. "Encore Worthy"
Millie is mysterious, uptight and has built up walls around her heart... She has a past, secrets.. Just don't know what or who made her build those walls..
Sage is a true Manx.. He's a sexy rocker with a dirty mouth and knows what he wants and he wants Millie.. Arrogant, confident and won't give up until she gives in..
The start of this series is hot, erotic, and will grip you, suck you in and like me.. Will have you anticipating the next book...
"She's my song..and I'm not done listening.."

I started Encore Worthy yesterday and finished it in one siting, couldn't put it down! R.C. Martin did it again, I can't stop reading her!
We met Millie and Sage in So Much More. Millie was an unlikable character, while Sage was this young man with a promising future as a musician. I never thought we would get to read their story, since Millie was such a strange and aloof woman, but I have to admit she piqued my curiosity in So Much More.
This is story is different from Sarah and Brandon's. It's pretty intense and with a lot of hot scenes! Sage and Millie are combustible together, Millie wants to deny their attraction but Sage is so determined to make her see that they are good together. And oh my, does this man know how to break Millie's walls or what, swoooon!!!!
Be aware that this book is part of a new series and ends in a cliffhanger. The next book is due out in april, I can't wait! Don't miss out on this one, R.C. Martin writes poetry, her stories have so much depth and meaning. I love it when I discover new authors that shake you to the core with their words, and she's definitely one of them!

This is my first time reading about the Mountains and Men group but with saying that, I didn't feel that I was missing too much. I am now needing the other books in the series if they are as good as this one! Sage is pretty swoon worthy if you ask me! For a man of just twenty one he certainly knew his way around a woman’s body. I feel that I need to find out more about Millie. She has issues that we haven't quite got to the bottom of in this story. The whole group of men are compelling to read.

Sage is the lead singer in Mountain and Men and his voice can melt knickers. He has his choice of women, as you would expect but once he sees Millie, she seems to be his muse. The lyrics just pour out of him. This is more than just one night. Millie, however, is not having this attraction to Sage. She has so many walls in place to avoid love at all costs that she is determined to fight their attraction. Sage has a lot of work on his hands to convince her to go with her heart.

So sweet and such a filthy mouth! Yes please. If you like books with future rockstars in, this is just right for you. Enjoy.

I received a copy of Encore Worthy in exchange for an honest review!

Encore Worthy is the first book (or if you want to get technical it's 0.5) in the Mountains and Men series, by Author R.C. Martin. We are introduced to Sage McCoy (the leader), some of the men in Mountains of Men, and of course Millie Valentine (Millicent, love this name).

Millie is a woman not looking for anything other than an itch to scratch. She's invited out for a night with her roommate, Sarah, whom she didn't have the best start for their relationship. Her focus is on her job, not anything else. She's sassy and a smart ass!

Sage, well let's just say for a 21 year old, he's definitely has his stuff together. Sure as a rock star he's had his fill of revolving doors when it comes to women, but once he sees Millie it all changes for him. He knows he wants her, knows he has to have her. He knew one night would never be enough for him, especially since the music flowed from her the moment he met her.

Since I love rock star books, as soon as I found out about this one I knew I needed to read it! Now to get my hands on the next one!
