“Mark A. Hewitt has established himself as a great thriller author.” –James J. Seals, Jr. on No Need to Know
A major security breach finds the CIA's closest secrets divulged and dozens of their highly-placed spies exposed and killed. As the Agency investigates the source of the disclosures, an old Office of Strategic Services file and the former Director of Central Intelligence become the focal point of their research. A race is on to find the file's secrets. If al-Qaeda's wins, they can acquire "suitcase" thermonuclear devices to attack America. If the CIA gets there first, they can make a deal with a Russian billionaire and trade the missing treasure for the weapons al-Qaeda craves.
The political awakening of Duncan Hunter continues as he battles radical fundamentalists across the globe, he thwarts the terrorists' best plans and eliminates their leaders. He survived their latest attempts to kill him when he's finally cornered, captured, and dragged to an al-Qaeda lair. Inside lurks certain doom at the hand of his bitterest foe.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Over? Ths book is the third in a series that should be read in order to get the most enjoyment from it. This story barely takes a breath! They get out of one jamb and a new, even more dangerous adventure starts. It is hard to put this book down, even to sleep or work. This is a techno-thriller with many things that may not exist, yet. It is also historical fiction. The author takes things that did happen and mixes in what could have or should have happened. This book is not as clean as the previous stories. I am still of the opinion that you will not get nightmares from reading it. I am enjoying this series so much that I am going to start the next book right now.
Mark Hewitt has established himself as a great author. His attention to detail and vivid descriptions of action held my interest and attention throughout the book. If you want nonstop action coupled with plausible technology and very well developed characters then this book is for you. This is one of the better series I have read.
If you have reach this one, and read the first 2 books, you proberbly know he dont like liberals, democrats nor Islam. That is his prerogative... I can just not read the books.
********Spoiler************ I think its a little extreme that the main character gets away with using 2 nuclear weapons on another country, even if it's an islamic one.

Interesting book but I got lost several times in the change of chapters and characters as I tried to understand what it was supposed to do with the major tale. In the end, it came together and made sense. Shame the end result isn't indicative of our present day situation.
From the first book to No Need To Know the author takes the reader on a non stop thrill ride. Duncan, Nazy, McGee and the Grinch are great characters that just keep on giving.
Maveric and Bull Frog make a great team. The story is well written and fast paced. The characters have you rooting for them. Can't wait until the next book. Bourne, Coleman, Rapp, all in one.
I'm amazed that this author can write so many fantastic novels, I hope that he never stops writing. His books are some of the best Entertainment I have read and worth the time to read them. Thank you for a very fun entertaining read.
I love a good action thriller, and this Author really comes through with another great one. Sometimes bringing the book close to real life situations. Can't wait to start next book in series.
I've truly enjoy reading the Ducan Hunter series. I'm a big Brad Thor and Vince Flynn fan and I'll be looking for all the new adventures of Mark A Hewitt's.
Best of all in suspense. Never guessing the next turn of events. The entrance into the hijacked aircraft was nice. Wondered why author used the guy getting wet when aircraft landed. Nice touch on the "pit".
There is so much to like about this book. Mark Hewitt really knows how to write an Action Thriller. As with his first two books this one has a well-developed plot, with plenty of surprises. I love the characters Duncan Hunter & Bill McGee, and what they go through trying to stop al-Qaeda. Once again the Author has hit the mark with this book, incredibly well written. Read it, you won’t regret it.
