2020 Review

Ever since I first read this book four years ago, it's been one of my favorites. So I do a yearly re-read. It's like a breath of fresh air. I've kind of memorized this book, and it's so easy to read, but I still love it.

The stories in the book are simple, normal stories about an everyday family with an everyday life doing everyday things. That's what I like about it. There's no complicated plot, there aren't millions of characters to keep track of, it's just simple .

I LOVE this book! :)

Five stars out of five.

2019 Review
So nostalgic . . . nearly everything in this book reminds me of my childhood. I was homeschooled, my best friends were at church, and I loved playing with my little sister and pretending with her. I just recently learned a second book came out a couple of years ago, too. I'll have to get on to reading that because obviously, I can't get enough of this book. :)

2018 Review
What a great book to kick off the New Year! I love this sweet little story. 5 stars out of 5, as always.

2017 Review

Once again, this book is so simple and sweet and reminds me of so much of me when I was younger. :) When I first read this book Katy just reminded me of me and I think that's why I loved it SO much. Now it's my yearly reread and I have literally memorized it, but IT'S SO GOOD AND SWEET AND CUTE AND JUST GAHHHHH.

Are you looking for a book that will give you a break from love triangles and teenagers and magical quests and several characters and subplots? Read this. It's like a cozy blanket but book form.

As always, five stars out of five. Can't rave about this book enough!!! :D

My kids both read this book quickly. It helped them understand a little about why we homeschool and they both said it was a fun book to read.
