A 'Mating Season Collection' book

Emma Storm has wanted to write ever since she realized her mediocre skills with a crayon were going nowhere fast. When she was thirteen, she begged her parents for a typewriter for Christmas and went to town on a crazy-bad historical romance.

Fortunately, she left that messed up historical behind and went looking for her real loves–dirty-hot werewolf heroes.

DESIRED BY THE PACK, Emma’s paranormal romance serial novel, is her first foray into paranormal romance. Join Emma’s newsletter today in order to stay up to date on news about upcoming releases and future plans.

This is book 6 in the series and so far, the most enjoyable, the groundwork was well layed out and I had a good sense of Maisie's despair of being trapped in a small town by family obligations. Logan is still a little bit of a mystery, I am hoping this will be made clearer in a future story.

But, I have two huge grumbles......

1) the length of the book - yet again the lack of pages does the story a disservice....

2) WTF type of ending was that???? Cliffhangers are one thing, the annoying fade to black is another (which so far in this series seems to be the authors preferred choice -why???)....but to suspend the story, to actually stop it before any action was taken......seriously..... WTeverlovingF is that all about???

Happy New.........couldn't be arsed to finish that sentence.......

Really short shifter story!

Kindle Unlimited standalone book in wolf shifter series. Way to quick to get to know the characters well. Ended without an ending. Not sure what's happened with the last few books in the series, they feel like cliffhangers with a cliffhanger.

At least the last 2 books had a plan and all of it was leading to this book. But, instead of wrapping the series up at the end of this book, we are cut short of ending and inthr middle of their heated life changing decisions. 😳 Seriously, I thought... WTH.

There Needed To Be More

I've anticipated Logan's story for some time now. I must say I wish there had been more to it. Logan deserved so much more. After the build up in Haven I expected there to be a juicy story behind why he wasn't with Ben and Caleb. This book has fallen very short of what Emma is capable of writing. It's almost like someone else wrote Haven and Taken, someone who had no idea of where they wanted the bigger story to go. As much as I like the Mating Season Collection I'm not sure this set of books will make the cut. I'm willing to give it one more shot with the next book and if it's not better then unfortunately I won't find out how the Grey Wolves end the series. I hope these reviews help Ms Storm correct the issues she's having with this series. On that note I will say the editing was better in this book than the last one. There were still a few issues but they were no where near the issues as in Haven. Good luck Ms Storm I truly wish you success with the rest of the series.

This is book 6 in the Grey Wolves Rising series. We meet a girl trapped in her small town and miserable. We meet Logan a wolf who is looking for a place to call home. Katt wants out of her town and the people who hold a grudge and make her feel small but will sh take the opportunity in front of her? Will she accept the fact that werewolves are real? Will she freak out? Will she leave with Logan? What will happen next?

Another hit

I liked this story, but I would have liked more of it. Maybe if they had left and we got to read about the plans for their lives or where they were going. I also wish someone had kicked the ladies in the store in the ass (those BITCHES). Sorry I love Emma Storms stories I just wanted more from this one. It was good but a little incomplete. Can't wait for the next installment.

What?

I'm giving Taken 4 stars....... but I'm disappointed in the ending. I absolve Emma's books and this whole series is well written, hot .and has great romance.. I'm only hoping that this is a major cliffhanger. And when 7 comes out we get our fabulous ending.

Is there another?

I have loved this series from start to... almost finish. This ended oddly, good but I wanted more. Is there going to be more in this series? I really hope so because I want more. A better wrap. I will have to keep a lookout for it. Highly recommended reads.

Taken

I loved every book in this bundle. I thought the last story was too short, but good just the same.
