Change my mind.
I'm interested in kazuki backstory how he interested playing trumpet =) even kazuki, len, ryo n keiichi was curious because they heard kazuki saying kahoko is engaged with Azusa - ew....not - I prefer trio boys better with kahoko - Len,ryo n kazuki reaction when they heard from kazuki about kahoko.

This volume felt a bit disjointed. I also don’t like Azuma. Len is really just a backdrop right now in comparison to the other guys. By the way, why is there so much bullying? Well, 3/5.
This Volume was special because Kahoko finally expresses her violin skills. Even though last time she messed up, this performance was near prefect and everyone acknowledged her. Even Ryotaro did extremily well playing the piano. Its funny how the only two non music student did the best out of all the selected contestants. It was so unfortunate that Len, also a violin player, got locked in the closet right during the performances and it made him miss his turn. His parents were there too, but when he wasn't coming up on stage, they urged the director to treat it professionally. So I guess in terms of professionalism, it was the right decision but I felt it was unfair to Len. His parents were there and he did EXTREMELY well when he practiced his song after when everyone left. Then the rest of the volume was short stories. Kahoko and Yunoki's fake marriage. Yunoki was suppose to meet a girl for his arranged marriage, whom was beautiful, compared to Kahoko and he wanted to turn her down... This made no sense what so ever and, that girl was really pretty. But then again, Yunoki's sister did say he never loved anyone so I guess it would befit his character.
The Second Selection!! It's so exciting, when you don't know what's going to happen! Kazuki is so cute!! I will always root for him ;n; I feel so bad for Len! But his moment with his violin at the end of the selection was sweet uvu I love the effect Azuma has on people. Azuma, you skillful charmer, you... Lastly, the favour Azuma asked of Kahoko... How interesting... It makes you wonder if there's a grain of truth in it... (Of course, we can assume that since it's an otome-based story, there is some real feeling behind Azuma's request...) The special story was okay. Kazuki was really cute, but I'm more interested in the trumpet player he is now than the sporty kid he was then.
One of my favorite things is a reverse harem type of series and this one did not disappoint. The correlation between each of the different boys and their musical instruments was excellent and I loved how music helped to progress the story line along. Hino was such a cute character!
Anime: One of my favorites! I loved all of the music!!!
Less Azuma is always a win, but he still gives me such an ick, I kind of actually really like Len now. Anyway, the highlight for me was learning more about Hihara’s backstory and also I will take whatever HiharaxRyotaro crumbs I can get. How cute is it that they nearly met when they were younger?!
This volume was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the storyline for the second competition. The bonus chapter about when Kazuki first started playing the trumpet was really cute.
Contains Chapters: 19 - 23 Extra Chapter: Tempo Primo
