Declan Andrews, super whizz is failing Math and Fords Academy is not standing for it. He has Thanksgiving to get back on track or lose his space at this prestigious prep school. Dylan Andrews is failing Math, not because he wants to but because he can't do it. His football career is hanging in the balance because he can't maintain his grades, he will have to repeat his senior year. Twin brothers, identical in looks but that's where it ends, they are as different as chalk and cheese. It's not until each of them get to walk in their brother's shoes, that they realize how hard the other brother has had it.

Same Difference is a story based around 17 year old twin boys. The Andrews twins.
Declan could be described as the twin with the brains. Who attended Fords Academy (for young intelligent students). He is secluded, feels removed from not only life, but his family too. The strain of school starts to tell on him, but we read more about the hell of his time at Fords. Eric being his one and only best friend at Fords, made his life a little easier.

Dylan was the social twin. The popular one who was well known and lived at home with his parents. But will a job, girlfriend, car loans and failing grades despite his desire to win a football scholarship he too feels the strain.

What both twins were going to find out, was that neither life was perfect or how they imagined. No one had the perfect life. But the one thing it would do, is give one another a clearer understanding of themselves and their twin...which had long been needed.


I feared for poor Declan. The poor kid who had been packed off, away from home to a special school, with a lot of demands put on him. With various factors all conceding against him, he knew he needed out. But to what detriment?

This story is heartwarming, funny, dark in places a
But most of all shows the true love and support between brothers. In the few short months the brothers reconnect, they grow beyond measure. Both get a taste for the others life, and while Declan tries to be a little more laid back, Dylan concentrates more on school work! It's all a surprising twist :)
