Ever since Club Blu burned to the ground, Q has been on the hunt for the man he believes to be responsible for it and he will stop at nothing to find him. Q and Harlem had finally agreed on a place to relocate their family, but after the drama with the club, their move has been postponed until further notice. Even though Q wants to go legit and keep his hands clean, the streets won’t allow it. Harlem tries to help Q as much as possible, but with two children to look after and trying to make sure her family remains strong, Harlem doesn’t know which way to turn. Once she thinks everything has died down, she realizes it is just the calm before her storm. Presley and Nae are working out the kinks in their relationship and he is trying to hang in there with Nae, but doesn’t know how much more he can take with her insecurities about their relationship. Meanwhile, Preston and Rena are doing great until a tragic situation strikes their home and turns it upside down. Now Pres is dealing with two wars; one in the streets and the other at home. With all their individual chaos going on, a major situation happens that stuns the family as a whole and forces their hands into showing the world the true definition of family. Once the family is hit with the reality of the situation, all hell breaks loose, leaving them to wonder which way to turn next.
Just as good as pt 1 and I like how it flowed from one into two. So much stuff going on but it was so well written that was easy to follow. Dre n Skylar perfect match got what they deserved. Again love the couples. 3 should be even better wander if this cop is going to play a role? Or is he somebody's brother?? No think something serious. Anyway well done. Waiting on pt 3.
I loved how the storyline from part 1 flowed right on in to part 2. Q and Harlem continue to try to make it work. But of course the drama continues to unfold, and along with it is the deceit. One good thing that I can say about all this is that it shows how the family sticks together no matter what. I wonder what will unfold in part 3.
Q and Harlem are dealing with their issues but when dre burns down his club q is ready to kill him. Harlem is coming to terms with mr. Santos being her dad. Tell has some maybe baby mama drama that almost cost him his life, but mama Melissa is not playing games. Mr.santos secrets are coming out and mama Melissa is fed up. I can't wait for book 3.
This book like part 1 was spot on. This was a one sitting type of read. There has to be a part 3 there are too many unanswered questions like will the mother and father reunite or are they done for good, will they relocate and others.
The drama continues with lem &Q back together and ole hating ass dre still hating finally gets his ass handed to him And Tells back with mo drama Popa still getting caught up can't wait to see how this drama unfolds great read
Couldn't really see where the plot was going with so much going on. This crew seemed cursed or just to damaged. Only time will tell after reading the next book when it comes out
The the drama was REAL!!!! From blowing up homes/clubs to stabbing... Dre and Skylar got what they deserve... Now the drama with Q mother and father just got real!!! I can't wait for part 3
I can't wait for part 3!! I love how it flows from book 1 to book 2!! I also can't wait them to meet Love!! Iconic Love is also good and I like how the books go with one another!!
I'm loving this series so far. I thought I loved Conic and Love together but Harlem and Q are beginning to get up there with them on my favorite couple's list. This was a good read if you followed the Iconic Love series then you'll most definitely will enjoy this.
This took me way longer then I planned on taking but that was because it just wasn’t doing it for me so I had to pick something else up to keep me entertained. Of course, I enjoy catching up with the other books and I was really just reading this to see if I’d enjoy it. Not much to go on so if you’re doing the same sorry. Anyway, I need to go back to Iconic Love to see just what happened in those because enjoyed the ending on this one.
The club mess was sooooo dumb, like really? Why even go there when he showed up at Q’s club shooting. He just gone walk all of them into the fire like that? Plus, most of the stuff they were doing seemed like child’s play and had no reason for them to do it seeing their supposed to be status. All the calling on someone, putting words out, including the women, and empty threats was just wack. The situation with Tell was alright I just wished we didn’t know before he woke up, of course these street guys had no clue where to even look, didn’t even seem like they tried to look though.
Same thing with the house, I’d rather we read about Harlem and Shayne after the jaws started working on the door or something. Again, I enjoyed the ending way better than the book for real but I’d read the next one just to see if he finds his other daughter or to read how that happens, another reason I need to go check on those again.
