Took me a while to get through this book, because there is just so much information and it gets overwhelming at times (wasn't helped by the book layout, which had very little space between paragraphs and big blocks of texts), but anyway, it was well worth sticking to. This is a veritable Who's Who? and What's What? of the secret society world, with amazing insight into the workings of Freemasonry and the Illuminati. It would help to re-read this book just to have a better grasp of what's been exposed, and the many, many names will also make much more sense. I was kinda expecting some big revelations about conspiracies and stuff like that (I'll admit: huge X-Files fan, and lol, yes, The Truth Is Out There). While this book didn't exactly disappoint, it was more of an information-type putting you into that world, outlining it, so to speak, in enormous detail so you'll probably be better able to follow the next books now that the layout has been set in place and everything and everyone has been explained.
All in all, a very good book delving into the world of secret societies - much recommended to fans of conspiracy theories and/or anyone who's believed that the truth really is out there. I am definitely looking forward to the next books in this trilogy.
