So teaching international pronunciation con result in a mixed American and British accent, plus mother tongue influence. Which is fine.“ - Sehe ich genauso.

Quick read. Lots of little gems make it worthwhile. 100 categorized teaching tips. Like having a old friend in the staff room to give advice. Each tip take minutes to read and a few more to digest.

More apropos for new teachers, but of course, experienced teachers will find a few nuggets that go against popular wisdom. None of these are earth shattering. Just good ol' fashioned suggestions to make the most out of class time.

A nice set of tips. Not groundbreaking but still OK. Would be beneficial for those who have already taught for a little bit. I've taken aboard several ideas.

yes i am going to count this as a part of my reading challenge.

apart from that, great quick read for a new as well as experienced teacher. tbh, most of the tips were pretty obvious for me, however i still made notes and picked up some great ideas for my teaching. stuff that i found obvious might not be such for others, and stuff that i found useful might be obvious for those who are 10+ years in the job.
still, thanks, miss ur, for practical (!!!) and comprehensible tips that are super easy to incorporate into teaching to make it better. unlike stuff you get taught in uni and/or grad school this is more of a “this is what you do to your students to make them study better” instead of theory and writing 9-pages long lessons plans that don’t help you in the classroom. stuff you learn in uni is essential and useful, don’t get me wrong, you can’t get far in teaching without the essential knowledge background, but this is a great handy tool to make you better on practice.

ok that’s it.
