As the Red Hood gets pulled into the Robin War by Red Robin, Arsenal and the Joker's Daughter take on a job in Gotham.

This is about as tertiary a tie-in to the "Robin War" as you can get. But that's ok, since it gives us a couple of nice scenes of Jason and Tim talking about their time as Robin and why it was important to them. These two characters have opened up to each other quite a bit across several Bat-books over the past several months, but I still enjoy seeing them connecting. This series isn't huge on character moments, so it's nice to see them when it happens. These scenes also relate their various backgrounds for anyone not familiar with them.

While we do get a little bit of character out of Roy and the Joker's Daughter, it's not as deep. Roy still struggles with why Jason wants her around, and she's struggling with being "good." Not sure I buy her story, either. That's kind of "wait and see thing" for me. She's an interesting addition to the book, and I want to see where Lobdell takes it.

Gotta say I enjoyed the artwork this issue. Nice clean pencils that looked great, captured the characters well and gave us a great view of Gotham at night. Nice urban feel on the locations and great detail for the characters.

While it wasn't much of a tie-in, it was a nice bridge to the next storyline.
