Not bad at all for a book I got for free off amazon. That said, it could have done with a bit more editing in places, and the second half was much more interesting. The first half was a run-through of the kingdoms, dynasties and some rulers, but was slightly confusingly ordered at times and became a little repetitive. Not a bad read for someone who doesn't know much at all about ancient Egypt.
