In her long tenure as an educator, she has enriched the lives of countless students with the mystery of the narrative.
A versatile writer, each of her literary works appertains to a different genre . . . from the joys and travails of life, to terrorism that has brought the world to its tenterhooks, to now the paranormal.
She has travelled extensively around the globe absorbing the diverse human ethos and cultures––the delectable foods for her thoughts. Presently, she lives in Gurgaon with her family.

This beautiful book is a story of a girl and her Lhasa Apso dog named Fluffy in around Shimla. It’s not just a story, instead, the life experience of the author with her pet and their journey from childhood depicting the true companionship, love and friendship which makes you fall in love with the stunner. The writer’s simple narration about the mystic Himalayas, their weather pattern gets the reader infatuated with the place and beauty of nature. The essence of the book lies in the sheer simplicity of the girl’s adventures with her pet that we forget to look at in our daily industrious epoch. Although, it’s a short read, it took me a month to complete since I was scared of the ending. In short, the book is a must read for every dog lovers and to people who are literally scared of dogs, so you might get one after reading this charming tale.

Perfectly showcasing the joys and heartbreaks of a dog owner. Fluffy might not be the most obedient dog to be owned but he still rules the heart of the readers turning page by page.

I loved reading this book as I am pursuing my UG studies from Shimla and not only do i get an insight into the life of residents before Shimla was what it is today, but there is also the factor that I have a very dear pet called Yuki whose story till now (she's 3 years old) is the same as Fluffy's.
I hope I get to meet the author of the book and get a chance to talk to her about the book, Fluffy, and the Shimla of her time someday.

Heart warming story about the beautiful bond between the author and her pet(friend) Fluffyy 🐶. Irrespective of either you're a dog-lover or no it's a surety that you would enjoy the book to the utmost. Set in the snowy hills of Shimla it takes you through the adventures of this little pup growing into a 16year old dog and his unbreakable friendship with the author and her family and his daily shenanigans that would indefinitely bring smile on your face .. But the fact that this book would end which means fluffy would be gone made me a little intimidated about the completion of this book which made me delay it and I was heartbroken when i reached the last segment.. Any which ways it was a comforting & a soulful read which i truly enjoyed.

If this phrase can’t describe the charm and the light that dogs bring to our lives along with them I don’t think what else can better will.
Fluffy and Me is a loving and heart-warming tale between a girl and her cute little Lhasa Apso Fluffy that happened in Shimla in the 1960’s for almost 20 years.

I was in tears during the last chapter,
How much I miss my shinzo I can't tell.
Through this book, I re-lived my memories of Shinzo, he was a white Pomeranian and chihuahua mix.
This book was cozy and warm.
The author described Shimla very beautifully and every line had a magic.
Fluffy and me is the story of friendship, and family, it was very heart warming and deeply touching.
How much I miss my shinzo I can't tell.

To be honest I am confused about the rating. I liked it but I am not able to connect with any of the charater on an emotional level.
Plus many times reading this book felt like reading an autobiography of a yogi. If you read it you know what I am talking about.
There comes a part where the main lead try to train her dog for a competition and I felt that humans are so selfish that they try to domesticate and train the animals who love their freedom and should be allowed to live like that.
It's a one time read but for me it's not something I would go back to again.

A beautiful heartwarming memoir, which takes you to the mountains n you will know how life unfolds there. You will feel the coziness of living with nature n get to know about the challenges faced by the Author.

Anita Krishan’s ‘Fluffy and Me’ is a touching tale that details the life and times of a small town girl as she experiences an adventurous upbringing in the small Himalayan Suburb, all while in the company of her constant canine companion, the star of the book: Fluffy.
You will fall in love with Fluffy and this coming from someone who has always been scared of pets really means something. He is so adorable that I am now left with a deep desire to get my own pet. As I discovered from the author's note this is a true story, the author's account of her childhood companion and I believe that is what makes it so touching because she experienced it all to bring it alive in the story.
Each page of this book evoked my memories about my pet who left me behind alone.It showers a rain of memories in you.

it got misplaced once in the transit. Coming to the book, Its not a story to be reviewed, its an
experience of a girl from her childhood with a puppy called Fluffy. As said, true companionship, true love and true service without any expectations can be seen in dogs and its nicely projected everywhere in the book.
There are no comments on the simple narration style of Anita, An English Professor with love on literature can go wrong nowhere.
The narration of the places in and around Shimla and deatails of each event will bring the imagination perfectly in mind while reading. This shows the author has succeeded.

Fluffy and Me is a beautiful story of journey of life and cherished friendships. It's a wonderful portrayal of selfless love, adventures, the beauty of majestic Himalayas and the treasured friendship between a human and a dog. There were instances when I was simply in awe of the literary prowess of the writer. Her vivid descriptions of nature and mountains holds an underlying message of importance of preservation of forests and conservation of wildlife. A must must read!!!

Such a heart warming story - it makes you fall in love with that little cutie. I loved reliving Anita Krishnan's journey from childhood to womanhood with her ever loyal friend - the multiple adventures they sought out together made it quite the ride! I cried big tears when I got to the end of the book
