A short book in two parts, one a story about a CEO's daughter, and that the way she behaves and treats others affects what people think and believe about her father the CEO. She is an ambassador for him, whether she thinks she is or not. What will she hear when she reports to him? Hopefully: "Well done my good and faithful servant!"
The second part of the book centres on 2 Corinthians 3:18, and the dual meaning of the Greek verb that can mean "reflecting" and "beholding."
Referring back to Moses Lucado writes that "After the patriarch beheld the glory of God, his face reflected the glory of God... The brightness he saw was the brightness he became."
Lucado is calling us to behold and reflect the glory of God in all of our life.

Max Lucado has a talent for making scripture easy to understand. He uses different translations to help bring across his point, with some help from a rabbi he talked with in a plane.
A beautifully packaged 'modern parable' that reminds us of who we are as God's children. Our life purpose, boiled down to its purest essence, is simply this, "We exist to give honor to His Name." We would all do well to remember this simple fact in every circumstance and every moment of our lives. I will eagerly seek out those who would benefit from this wise reminder in order to share it with them.
God's Mirror was a quick easy read and so fun! The pictures were beautiful! I especially love the song it came with, My Reward by Paul Baloche. Throughout this book Max encourages us to behold God's light for when we truly behold His light we will then reflect it. I'm one of God's mirrors! You can be one too!
This is an awesome book. Set in 2 parts. Its short and perfect as a gift book because it can be read in about 12 minutes. Really gets the point across to a christian reader.
