I bought this book for my son who is 10 - I didn't really expect to like it as I thought it looked a bit boyish but I thought it was great, if you like maze runner you'll like this book. I liked the characters and the fact that they weren't all boys and the girls were really feisty. I also loved that every time I thought i'd totally figured the plot there was a twist and the way in which a lot of the chapters end on a cliffhanger. There's quite a bit of violence so maybe not for very young kids but it's also a book which is really entertaining for adults.

Unfulfilling
This book left me wanting more. It seemed to drag at times and then finished in a flourish. Maybe next time?
