Graciella Modesto had to grow up fast to protect herself from the male werewolves in her old pack. In her new home, she’s got freedom to live as she pleases—and to not take a mate if she doesn’t want to. Oddly enough, she does want one, and she doesn’t care what her overprotective big sister thinks about him. To Graciella, it’s clear that Finn Stilton is meant to be hers.
But Finn doesn’t want to wreck a good thing. A nomad for much of the past ten years, he’s finally got a safe place to live and he’d like to stay in Norseton. In spite of objections from his packmates, he can’t leave smart, beautiful Graciella alone. She’s got magic that can soothe his antsy inner beast, and unlike so many other people in his life, she seeks out his company rather than avoiding it.
She may be the one woman on Earth who refuses to throw him away. How could he possibly keep her, though, knowing that her being with a wolf like him means she’s destined to not achieve anything more than being his wife? ___
MAKER was first published in the SUGAR, SPICE, AND SHIFTERS anthology.

Holley Trent is a romance author who spins campy yarns set in North Carolina. She has a wicked sense of humor and regularly puts her story characters into unexpected situations.
When she's not writing, she's reading or eating Twizzlers.
Her contemporary and fantasy romances have been published by Crimson Romance, Calliope Romance/Musa Publishing, and she has work due for release by Lyrical Press.
2013 brings a change of pace with her self-published series of paranormal novellas: Shrew and Company. Five women, five romances, one big bear of a problem. Check out boss-lady Dana's story in THE PROBLEM WITH PADDY, available now.
Loved this couple. He's has physical ticks, poor speech and not given much help until the heroine meets him. She likes him straight away, treats him as a friend but they are both attracted. This is a sweet story with a very young couple who show their elders how to be mates. My favourite in the series.
Oh my god I just can't get enough of these Norseton wolves!!
Wow I am beyond addicted to these alpha wolves becoming a community. To me it's so enjoyable the way they're up and changing old traditions and finding their perfect for them mates. Some funny some quiet some just plain old domineering but non the less able to be themselves without repercussion by Adam their leader their Alpha. So hooked on them.
Read in SUGAR, SPICE AND SHIFTERS. Not my first book in this series and read all out of order in various box sets. This is one of those series where you pick up a book every now and then, but then I never have the urge to go buy them to read. Try as I might I really struggle with these books, I think it is due to the fact I just don’t like this world of werewolves.
I was only meh on this one, mostly because the couple starts off saying, 'we're going to actually date and not fall into a fated mates thing, because we can!' and then fall into the fated mates thing without much fuss. I may take a break from the wolves and start the Viking series so I can enjoy how they interconnect.
This isn’t my favorite of the Norseton Wolves, but it definitely hit the right spot for something short, sweet, and fun. Some of the pacing early on felt choppy, but overall I really enjoyed Graciella and Finn’s romance.
Love this series! Loved Finn and Gracie's story. Finn Stilton, brother of Christine Denis (Beast, book 1) and Graciella Madesto, sister to Lisa Baylor ( Idler, book 3) were both brought to the Norseton Pack at the request of their siblings. Finn is from an Appalachian back woods pack that kicked him out at age 16, 10 year before. He has been surviving doing odd jobs and banding up with male wolves in the same situation. A talented wood worker, his wolf is excitable and restless so many are uncomfortable around him. He is calmed when he is around Gracie. Gracie is 18 and from a suburban pack, with an abusive Alpha. She is not afraid of Finn and enjoys his company. She is very grateful to her big sister and brother in law, for bringing her and her younger sister to Norseton. She may be young but she knows what she wants and that is Finn. This is a sweet love story between to very different people who complete each other.
This is the fifth book in the Norseton Wolves series. Graciella Modesto is 18 years old, she's Lisa's (Idler) younger sister and new to the pack. Lisa brought her two little sisters to Norseton so they wouldn't be forced to take horrible mates in their old pack. Lisa doesn't want her sisters to mate until they are much older so they can make something of themselves before they settle down. Finn Stilton is 25 years old, he's Christina's (Beast) older brother and they haven't seen each other in years. Finn was kicked out of his pack when he was 15 years old because his Alpha felt threatened by him. He's not used to people helping him and being there for him so he was surprised when Adam (Norseton's Alpha) tracked him down and brought him there. Finn really likes Graciella and he likes being near her because she makes him feel calm. Graciella wants Finn and she's determined to get him even if it pisses off her sister, Lisa.
This was a terrific read, it went straight to my heart and made me fall in love. Finn is such a sweet man, he just needs the right woman to show him how wonderful he is, and Graciella fits the bill.
I've enjoyed all of the Norseton books up until now, but this one is my favorite. Finn is just so damn adorable and I found myself wanting to slap everyone but Finn and Gracie.
