Psychic Politics

Rate this book
Psychic Politics is the result of Jane Roberts's search for the rules that govern our inner lives-the links between our daily, subjective experience and the greater Reality that nourishes all of our existence. This is not only her most challenging book, but a very personal investigation in which the sources of dream and myth, and the creative wellsprings of sex and spirituality, appear in their full and breathtaking relationship to daily life.

And here for the first time, Roberts introduces three concepts that are key to understanding her entire body of work: the library, a super-real storehouse of "probably" books that tell of the paths human consciousness has not yet taken; counterparts, simultaneous incarnations living on earth today so as to broaden the fabric of their individual soul's experience; and the codicils, an alternative set of rules for human existence that could transform the framework of our entire civilization.

If you are interested in aspect psychology a field that Jane Roberts expounded on in her writings you will love this book. I have read it at least twice, full of vivid images and analogies that explain our multi faceted personality structure and how we can be more accepting of the self.

I think i've just finished reading this book for the 10th time... it must be psychically encrypted. This material definitely opens mental doors.

I really liked this book, it shows the honesty and simplicity and integrity and courage Jane brought to her work. I have immense respect for her, I was also brought up catholic with all of the guilts and fears and brainwashing, it is no easy thing to simply walk away from. The courage it took for Jane to explore consciousness as she did is just incredible to me.

Jane/Seth books are among the very best of the dozens of metaphysical books I've read. If you like metaphysics I can't recommend her highly enough. I will definitely be reading this book again.

While Jane Roberts wasn't as good a writer as Seth (and isn't that in interesting perspective?), she provided a perspective on the material that was enlightening and fulfilling on its own terms.

I would never down-grade Janes personal perspective.
Seth created books that were designed at multiple levels to address the different levels of perspective and awareness of every and all his/it's readers. You will not find this type of multilevel writing except from a Homo capensis(Lumanians) or maybe a mystery school cult scripture(likely Lumanian).
Jane typically only wrote to the audience that was at her level. She only in a few places wrote in two-levels(a good-willed double speak), but one can gather a third by understanding the science-cult around her that Seth did not reveal to her in order to maintain her concentration on her book-producing tasks.
You are getting Seth-Books translated almost directly from All-that-Is... It does not get any better. Their will not be a spiritual book in your entire life which could be more fulfilling to read from any other author... Why can't some readers not gather this? ... I will tell you why,.. they are just pretenders that their thUgtopia rising is more important than the words from their own source.
James Sidaway, enjoy Jane's relative gift that strengthens perspective.
