The follow up to his debut 'UnLearn', Humble The Poet takes both himself and the ideas he discusses to deeper levels. Beneath The Surface is a collection of personal stories and reflections that give insight in to Humble, and the experiences that led to his shift in mindset into the life long learner he has become. Beneath The Surface is not a sequel, but rather a second layer to UnLearn. It's the next natural step for anyone wanting to take their journey of self awareness and discovery to new depths.

Much like its predecessor, this book really makes you introspective and examine your own thoughts and feelings on any and every given subject. Definitely worth the read!
Humble the Poet’s sequel book to his literary debut was a pleasure to read and reflect on life with. The book will continue to be a valuable resource. As a fan of his music and other creative endeavors, it was refreshing to see him open up and share his personal experiences, stories, and continue to articulate his emotions so effectively. I personally connected with this book because I could relate to many of his sentiments, but it also challenged me to think more critically about my emotions. In fact, this book has inspired me to start journaling regularly. I particularly appreciate how the chapters are so short and brief, but comprised of such high quality thought provoking content.
The only constructive feedback I have for the author is to obtain a better editor or multiple editors in the future, as there were consistent spelling and grammatical errors throughout the book. Nonetheless, the substance of the book is truly precious; not only because of the unique experiences Humble has shared, but also because of how he has analyzed and expressed what he has learned from all those experiences.
I am grateful to have read this book, and definitely plan on sharing it with close family and friends. I also hope Humble continues to share his wisdom, experiences, and creativity with the world, as it has inspired and helped me to be a better person.
