The St. Michael Prayer is once again being prayed daily for the intention of Religious Liberty in America!
This booklet includes Prayers to St. Michael. From the Old Testament times until today, St. Michael the Archangel has always powerfully defended and assisted God's people on earth. Based on Scripture, Church history and saintly traditions, this book explains St. Michael's name, his rank among the Angels, his victory over Satan, his role among the Israelites, his role as Guardian Angel of the Catholic Church, as defender of souls, Heavenly Physician, helper in battle, advocate of the dying, consoler of the Poor Souls in Purgatory and guardian of the Blessed Sacrament and the Pope. Also included are the apparition and victory at Monte Gargano, the huge shrine to the Archangel on Mont St. Michel, the vision of Pope Leo XIII and St. Michael\'s role to come at the End of Time. Here too is a treasury of prayers, including the famous Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel. A goldmine of traditional facts which will be an eye-opener and an encouragement to all Catholics in our daily spiritual battles!

Fascinating, fascinating! I am a Catholic convert so I'm always discovering things I didn't know. I hadn't realised the power of St. Michel and the special things we can pray especially to him for intervention. This book starts with all the Biblical history of the archangel, then goes on to the history of his veneration. Finally, the meat of the booklet contains many prayers and a litany to St. Michael. He is the perfect one to be calling upon during these evil, wicked times of persecution. *Amen*
A very good little booklet with some history, places devoted to him, some miracles and his patronages. There's also some good prayers, novenas, litanies etc. at the end that one can choose from. A very inspiring and convincing kind of a read, lovely and recommended for all interested in him.
Anything nuns write…10/10⭐️ I loved this little book, and highly recommend. The prayers of the Catholic Church are absolutely gorgeous. The eloquent and extremely reverent words are so touching. Words like “Thy angelic crown” and “celestial throne”. To read them and listen to them is to be reminded that these are people who utterly adore and deeply love God. Saint Michael, pray for us. Our Lady, Queen of Heaven and Earth, pray for us. Thanks be to God, King of the Universe, for His loving mercy and His beautiful Church.❤️🔥
“Lord Jesus, let my heart never rest until it finds You, who are its center, its love, and its happiness. By the wound in Your heart pardon the sins that I have committed whether out of malice or out of evil desires. Place my weak heart in Your own divine Heart, continually under Your protection and guidance, so that I may persevere in doing good and in fleeing evil until my last breath.” Amen.
“Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.” Amen
I got the sense that Saint Michael is not afraid to appear to Christians and help them in battle, spiritual or earthly. All we need to do is ask. This was a great comfort, as sometimes the Saints and angels can feel so far away. The last 30 minutes of the book was prayers to Saint Michael. Litanies and supplications that were absolutely beautiful.
A quick, accessible overview of every major moment Michael the Archangel appears in the Bible. It covers both the Old and New Testaments, sketching out who Michael is, what role he plays, and why he matters within Christian tradition.
I grew up Catholic, left the church after confirmation, and have been spiritually curious again over the last couple of years. Michael was always the figure I felt drawn to, and this book was a great reminder of the “legend” surrounding him, what he supposedly did, and what he symbolizes in the Christian faith.
My only real gripe: the last 40% of the book is dedicated entirely to prayers. If that’s your thing, great. For me, it felt like filler. Otherwise, it was exactly what I was hoping for: simple, clear, and a solid refresher on a figure I’ve always found compelling.
A great summary of the role and power of Archangel Michael
This boom is a wonderful account of the role and mission of the Archangel Michael, in both the Old and New Testament, as well as in the liturgy and prayers of the Church.
This was a wonderful little read about the “known history” and importance of Saint Michael the Archangel. Short chapters and beautiful prayers in the back. Would recommend for any Catholic to read.
I thought that this book on it's own was completely beautiful and intelligent on it's own.It was very inspiring and gave good messages even if the book itself was short.
Excellent little booklet about St. Michael, discussing his role in the Church; it also includes twenty pages of prayers and devotions, very important in this time of crisis.
