O'Connell keeps you on the edge of your seat with this one! The character development is wonderful in this story for both the good and the evil characters, and he keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen on both sides of the battle. I found myself trying not to get too attached to the characters, because I never knew what would happen to them. It is a very interesting twist on the battle between good and evil, and I found myself wondering what was happening in the story at various points during my day. I am looking forward to the next book in the trilogy to see more of how this battle unravels and where O'Connell takes the story and characters.
