There is always room for one more good fantasy tale about prophecies, fate, life altering discoveries and good versus evil, especially when it hints at being an almost love triangle. Give us a heroine who is not an over-the-top princess of angst and sign me up! Fated Capture by Kristyn Eudes is not only her first book ever, but the first in a new series, Fated Keepers.

Arsema’s life as a teen is tough enough, but to discover what she has could break any gutsy teen into a blathering pile of jelly. She is being “courted” by an ancient being who claims she is his soulmate AND another ancient group wants her for their team, (these are the bad guys). But wait, there’s more! She is developing power after power and let’s just say that controlling them isn’t as easy as she had hoped. When someone from her past steps forward and those she loves are being threatened, Arsema must decide who to trust, and what her heart is telling her.

Great job, Kristyn Eudes! I was take into your world, and watched in stunned disbelief as Arsema kept it together enough to try to understand what is going on around her. Great characters kept popping up, and tossed their hats into the three ring circus that has become Arsema’s life. Ms. Eudes gives us just enough sorrow to feel an emotional pull, humor splattered about and one ending that, well, has me wanting more.

~I received a free e-ARC in exchange for an honest review~

I started reading Fated Capture not expecting much, but after chapter one, I was hooked. There is just such a good plot and storyline to it all!

Arsema is a headstrong heroine who will do anything to save her loved one. She has a bad feeling about Tavish when she meets him, leading her to stay away from him. This tears at her relationship with her best friend Tris.

Lyson is amazing. I loved him from the first chapter in his POV. He's similar to most YA male characters, yet so much better and different in a good way.

Kristyn Eudes really got me hooked with Fated Capture, and I absolutely can't wait for Fated Release! I'm definitely going to look out for her in the future, Fated Capture was that good.

Arsema is the known prophecy that will save the Creacia, a female born of human and Creacia blood. The chosen one. The Creacia's were created by God to protect the humans. But with every good there is a bad and when one falls to the dark side and turns evil and creates a band of followers, called the Orfeo's, everything changes. The humans begin to slaughter and kill the Creacia's and they are desperate to find the chosen one, Arsema. Their biggest fear is that the Orfeo's will find her first and that all chance of peace will be destroyed.

This was a very different book and I find it very engaging. The writing was very smooth and the words flowed effortlessly. I had only one quirk with the book the constant use of, 'Love," grew old very fast. But overall it was a very good story.

Fated Capture is Kristyn Eude's debut book. This is the first book of the Fated Keeper Series and there will be 4 books. There is a little cliffhanger at the end but, not one that makes you crazy and then knowing that the second book in this series will be out in March this year and the title is Fated Release makes the cliff hanger not so bad!

I feel that everyone who has read a synopsis shouldn't have to read what I think the storywhen the author usually does a good job of writing one.

The genre of Fated Capture is paranormal and young adult so anyone can read it and not worry about the content. And, it is a book that someone that is in their 50's and reads a lot of dark content books could still love.

Okay now that I told you all about the book but, not my review. I thought this book was very good and I was pleasantly surprised that it was a Paranormal. Kristyn had not told me that when she asked if I would read and review her book.

Most of the books that I usually read are dark or contemporary genre. This is a young adult book and anyone can read it and enjoy it. I did and I did it is as a woman in her 50's and I was drawn into the book form the very beginning. I hope that you will pick this book up and read it. And, it is a good book for your kids as well of course that is my opinion and you as the reader need to read it first to make sure it is okay for your kids to read.

Kristyn you did a great job for your first book! This ARC was received for an honest review!

Very sweet YA novel.

This was a sweet and fast read. I really enjoyed the story, and liked that is was a different subject matter than the typical vampire romance story.
The story flowed very well, and I was hooked on the story pretty quickly. And really wanted to see how things were going to work out.
The book was well written and very engaging. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was Lyon's constant use of Love as a nickname. That got old super quick, and didn't feel natural. Other than that one quirk, it book was awesome.
I'm excited to read more of the series.

Fated Capture is the debut novel of Kristyn Eudes, and what a debut it is! She should be very proud of this accomplishment!

Let me just start by saying that this story grabbed me from the very first page! I read it in one sitting, seeing as I couldn’t put it down! The storyline was so unique; I’ve never read anything similar to it!

The main character, Arsema, is this beautiful, strong young woman who isn’t afraid to say what she thinks! Which of course I love! And Lyon, our main guy is totally swoon-worthy! All the characters throughout the book are well thought out and compelling!

I felt a connection to the characters immediately upon starting the book, and felt as if I was traveling along side them on their journeys! There are some mysteries along the way, as well as some beautifully written romance! You will be left invested in the story and the characters, and of course wanting more!

I am anxiously awaiting book two, and I cannot wait to see where the wonderful mind of Kristyn will take the characters and us next! I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone! It would be a great choice for younger readers, but as an adult I thoroughly enjoyed it as well!
This was a beautifully done debut novel, and I for one cannot wait to see what the future holds for her!

" It rough being The Chosen"
This is an incredible story!. The characters are fabulous!. The story line is compelling!. This story is about a prophecy of a young girl who would be born half Creacia and half human. The Creacia are a race that was created by God to protect the humans. Then one of their own fell to the dark side and turned evil and he found followers which are called the Orfeo. After that the humans that the Creacia were made to protect started hunting and Slaughtering the Creacia. Now the ones left must find the Chosen one before the evil ones do. Arsema does not know she was born the chosen one. As far as she knows she is just an ordinary teenage girl. Then right before her eighteenth birthday she starts having dreams of a sexy young man. Lyon is one of the Creacia who is sent to find the chosen one. When Arsema starts her junior year in high school she and her best friend Tris meet a new guy in school Tavish who is in a band. But Tavish and his band are not all that they seem they are some of the evil Orfeo. About this time she meets Lyon and he finds out she is his soul mate plus finding out she is the chosen one. Wow this story is so incredible I love it. "It has action, suspense, mystery, and true soul mate Romance! You will love it!

Fated Capture - Kristyn Eudes 5 Big Fated Stars

What an amazing YA paranormal debut book, I was so surprised how much I loved this book. This has to be one of my favourite genres.

It took me a few chapters to get fully into this book but then I was completely hooked, I loved every minute and felt like I was transported right into Arsema's crazy new life.

Arsema has no idea that she is half human and half Creacia, her regular life starts to change and things then begin to get a little weird. When she finally learns that she is the 'chosen' one, she needs to stay safe as the fallen creacia/evil ones are after her.

Lyon is her soulmate he's been looking for her for many many years, now he has finally found her and they have bonded - can he now be sure to keep her safe ?

I so so need the next book now what an ending, I loved loved loved this book for me this is a big easy 5 stars, loved every minute, and most definitely worth a one-click!

Arsema has always felt like she was waiting for something to happen, and as her junior year of high school begins that something is a crazier more intence journey than she ever imagined.

Arsema is all fire and spunk, and when there's something going on she doesn't like she doesn't hesitate to spout off to whomever is getting on her wrong side.

Lyon has been looking for her for centuries, but what he finds in her is more than he ever imagined. He is protective to the core and doesn't ever question his feelings for her, but goes with his instincts when it comes to them.

The story is fast paced keeping you guessing as to what will happen next. The characters are interesting and you go along with them wanting to figure things as they do. There were a few places in the story that needing some polishing but overall I enjoyed this one quite a bit!

I received this book in return for an honest review.

This book was such an enthralling read, I didn't want to put it down, but of course life kinda exploded and I had to put it down, but while I was away I honestly couldn't help to wonder what would happen next in the story. I was so interested in not only the story line but all the characters as well. Even though it was a fast read, from the start I fell in love with the characters. They made me laugh, mad, and dang near bout cry.
The only probably I had was when *someone* (I'm not gonna say who) went rouge... Why? I mean it was awesome that it was "BOOM!" didn't see that coming... but it also didn't really tell you why or how... I'm hoping in book two or in a later book it explains it. I honestly can't wait to read book two and find out what happens next. Dang you cliffhanger!!

This story captured me from the very beginning grabbing me in its clutches and I could stop reading it!

The main character Arsema is strong person from the beginning and she wants to keep her loved ones safe no matter what. Though she is strong, she faces many difficult obstacles in her journey from being just a normal teenager to finding out the secrets that have been hidden from her for so long.

The supporting characters are really well written as well and it is interesting to follow them too. It is easy to start caring from characters that are close to Arsema because their relationships with her are so well developed.

The plot of this story is interesting and very original sucking you in from word one making you want to soak every word in and find out what happens next!

I will give this story full five out of five cupcakes.

An absolute must read. Loved this book. Cant wait to read the next one.
I really like the way the author jumps right with tons of action and is able to maintain the same level. I think this story is good for anyone of any age. Its young enough for YA and yet still done well enough to hold the attention of adults.
Arsema begins having the same dream every evening, and its of a dark mystery man. Her saviour, yet she can never see the end of the dream.
Lyon has been searching for 6 centuries. Has he finally found the one? He feels a pull like nothing before. And to find his soulkeeper too... he never would have guessed. And no one could prepare him for the Betrayal, love, fear, and absolute peace he will find on this journey.

I received an eARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is from a debut author who I count as a friend. We have never met and only recently started chatting on FB. That has NOT influenced my opinion in any way.

I read all types of dark/paranormal reads, even YA so I knew that I would definitely like to try this book. I love the mythology behind the story, it is a different take on certain "creatures" that we all have probably read about at one time or another. There were little bumbles here and there, but nothing that could take away from the story. I cannot wait to read the next installment in the series!

I absolutely loved this book!! I was captivated from the start. Arsema was a great heroine to follow on her journey!
Arsema was a normal teenager until she meets a boy that makes her sick, literally.
Lyon has been on a mission to find the chosen one. When he finds her, she is so much more than he is expecting. Not only is she the chosen one but she is his soul keeper. Now he will do anything to keep her safe.
This story has twists and turns and keeps you wanting more!! Definitely a must read!!

An interesting and riveting YA paranormal book by new author Kristyn Eudes. A well written story about a young girl, a prophecy, and a fight to stay alive and do what is right. In this first book in the series you meet Arsema. A young teen that finds out that there is more to her than what even she can believe. And there is plenty more for her to learn about her past and her future.

2.5 stars. This is a well written story. I really enjoyed it as a quick read. However I did not feel the characters developed quick enough for me. I didn't really get to know them that well, so struggled to really get involved with the story. I have also been reading a lit of stories like this lately and could see a lit of similarities with significance by Shelly Crane and felt that was better.

What an amazing story. It has great characters and a fast paced storyline. It is well written. I fell in love with Arsema and Lyon. It is a great love story but not too sappy. New special powers and an ancient race is a fantastic recipe for a amazing series. I am excited to continue on the journey with these characters.

What an awesome debut novel by Kristyn Eudes. The characters were well written and the story interesting. The story ends with a slight cliffhanger (but not one that really leaves you hanging). I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
