So I waited a few years to read this and it was well worth the wait. Why did I wait so long? Well, I had no idea it had been released. When I last read it's prequel Inferno, it was in 2011. The next series was said to be called "Soul Collector" and that was what I was looking for at the time. But I was also trying to get the mainline books that were collected into graphic novels at the time too, so my focus wasn't on this like it should have been. Which is weird since Mercy Dante is one of my favorite characters in the Grimm Universe. She's so bad she's good and I love it!

I also love how we finally get to see what she's been up to this entire time since we last saw her taking out a demon at the end of Inferno, which is being a bounty hunter for escaped demons. And she loves her job...it's real life that she's having problems with. I really enjoyed the story for this one and I really liked the artwork as well. Some of the action scenes looked a little janky, but I'll let that slide since the story was really strong. I'm hoping to be able to find this as a graphc novel in the future and not have to read the individual issues, but I'm just glad I'm able to read them at all at this point. This was many years in the waiting and, as I said before, this was well worth the wait.

I can't wait to see what Mercy Dante gets up to next.
