Jameson Hotel: The Complete Series

THE COMPLETE SERIES, Books 1 & 2

Book 1:

MARK JAMESON is an arrogant prick with a big dick who loves to fuck. Tall, blond, muscular, and oh, so cocky. A former porn star, he now owns a luxury hotel in South Lake Tahoe. His life revolves around money, getting laid, and protecting the people he holds most dear. He thinks of himself as a vigilante and truly believes it's a good deed to kill any bastard who harms women or torments his family.

I'm not a serial killer; I'm a vigilante who rids the world of scum. Don't fuck with the people I love.

JULIA BARRINGER is a young, fierce, foul-mouthed blonde who works the front desk at Mark's hotel. He knew the moment she walked into his office that he'd have her in his bed before anyone else in the hotel laid a finger on her. But he never would've imagined a woman could have so much control over his personal life, his dick, and ultimately... his heart.

Look at her sweet modelesque body, those big tits, and the way she wraps her lips around my giant... freakin' A... this woman is perfect.

But what if she finds out about the porn, the drugs, and all the bodies at the bottom of the lake? Will she run? Or does Julia have secrets of her own?

Book 2:

JULES
Mark's my everything, and even though he's an arrogant prick, I love the crazy bastard. He's the only man besides my dad who'd give his life for me. Yeah, my dad. I've invited him to Mark's hotel for dinner, and when the two meet, well, let's just say the shit hits the fan. I love them both, but someone may end up dead.

MARK
I'm handsome as fuck, a god in the bedroom, and my family's protector. I'd give my life for every damn one of them. I'm also invincible, smarter and more experienced than any scum who crosses my path. That is, until an old beast checks into my hotel. He's carrying a dark secret that may put me in my grave, if my son doesn't get to me first.

JACK
My dad's such an ass. I can't believe I'm living in his freakin' hotel in the middle of some bumfuck mountains. Lucky me, turns out I'm just like him, too - a good-looking, foul-mouthed, smooth operator. But I'm not taking orders from him. Seriously, if he fucks with me, I'm gonna kill him.

I love Aven's writing style. Quick and to the point. No needless junk thrown in to waste my time. Mark and Jules have already been together for a few months when the story begins and I love their interaction with one another. Brilliant. Great bickering. So funny. Avon's sense of humor is wicked in this one.

It's great how Jayce doesn't make you wait forever for things to resolve. It's a quick erotic read, no doubt about that. LOTS of sex, which is what erotica is all about! I'm glad she doesn't drag the story on like some authors.
Love all the characters. Jules is strong and puts Mark in his place. And Cove is just as awesome as ever!

Can't wait to see what's next.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4 stars!!

**Read for the 2019 DE A-Z Challenge**

This series was really fun, decently dark, and pretty damn suspenseful. I went into it thinking it would be categorized more as horror than anything else, but I was definitely wrong. Granted, I have a dark, dry sense of humor, but I thought this was a hilarious read. It was also sexy and at times even heartwarming. I also really didn't expect to fall in love with a serial killer, but that is exactly what ended up happening...

I truly believe ridding the world of scum is a good deed. It’s not wrong to kill a man who’s hurt others or who has the potential to harm again. I’m a vigilante for those I hold dear and it was the right thing to do.

Oh, Mark Jameson. The entire series is told from his POV, and thank God for that. Sure, it's probably exhausting living inside his head, but for the reader it is nothing short of fascinating. Mark is a loyal, depraved ex-porn star. He currently owns a hotel on Lake Tahoe, so his clientele is mostly entitled rich people. He was birthed and raised by awful humans, so the fact that he's even somewhat capable of emotion is nothing short of remarkable. He has a contentious relationship with the members of his family, and yeah, he shows his love in strange ways, but there's still no doubt that he loves them unconditionally. When the story starts, Mark is already in a somewhat established relationship with Jules, a much-younger woman that works the front desk at his hotel. Mark and Jules are made for each other. They're hilarious and loving in their own way. I loved watching the development of their relationship, especially how Mark came to accept how much he cared for her and couldn't live without her. At first, I thought Mark might be a psychopath, but really, he isn't at all. He's just a guy that shows his love the only way he knows how- by controlling everything and everyone around him.

"Who the fuck are you and what have you done with my balls?"
"Julia Alison Barringer," she whispers. "Your balls hang on a necklace around my neck. You can have them back once you prove that you're a man."

I loved Jules. She's fun, independent, and loving. She understands Mark, which is no easy feat. She supports him but she also challenges him, which is why he loves her like he does. Jules definitely isn't interchangeable with some other sexy twenty-two-year old; she's in a league of her own, and it's easy to see why Mark broke all his rules for her. That being said, even though Jules was awesome, Mark was the headliner of this shitshow. The story was originally broken up into six novellas, and it makes for a fast-paced read with lots of mini-climaxes. The story runs seamlessly and you not only get to know the characters, you develop with them. The only complaints I have involve the backstory. It was a little over-the-top and unbelievable. I couldn't quite grasp how everyone was related and furthermore, why things were happening now as opposed to happening in the past. There were a few grammar mistakes, too, but they weren't egregious. All in all, this was a fun, suspenseful read that had a lot of hot sex and strong personalities! I would highly recommend it to anyone that isn't afraid to take a little walk on the dark side.

I love this series, I've been reading it non-stop this week. Mark's narration is hilarious and somehow incredibly realistic.
Sometimes guy POV's can be a bit, well girly. Cause it's a girl writer, I didn't feel that at all with Mark, he was realistic and funny as hell.

I loved all the characters in this.
Mark.
Jules.
Cove.
Sophia.
Jack.
The twins.
Usually there's one or two main or secondary character that I don't like.

Have already started Cove & Sophia's story and Jack's is next.

FIVE STAR PLUS READ ~ 5++++++++++++++++++++++++

Aven Jayce has yet again written an amazing series and this complete boxset will not disappoint in anyway, I am only sad this in the end.

Mark Jameson is still a cocky, randy twisted alpha male but we do get to see a different side maybe brought out due to his beloved Jules or his son Jack who's wit and random craziness is a mirror image of his father's.

More family secrets are uncovered, twists, drama, tears, and betrayal will they survive a second time or is the past going to destroy them all ?

The steamy hot, kinky sex between Mark & Jules is off the charts along with so many funny phrases and one liners. Aven Jayce can shock you with deep dark issues and the next she has you laughing out loud.

I hope Aven is planning her next series, I have read and recommend all of her books.

My type of humor. I bet the author is a tomboy, or was, and writes like it. Story was decent, but didn't expect a story at all since it's erotic. She has a certain thing that draws me in that's clever and she's definitely not a frilly romance type of writer. I mean, the scene with the turkey speaks for itself. LOL!!! Oh, I adored Jack! Just adored him. I think her stuff isn't for everyone and I saw on the bio that she was a college professor. Makes sense. It's THAT type of professor humor. In your face and if you have to think about it, it's def not for you. Sorta slapstick, comic satire, silly, yet witty.

Hmmm. I don't know what to think. Maybe I should have read Sophia and Cove's story first so that I was more invested in this story. Things just happened too quickly. There was insta-love with Mark and Jules, and the humor was contrived. It felt like the author was trying too hard to be funny and be dark. Most of the darkness came in flash backs from Cove's story or Mark's past. Each book in this series seemed exactly the same, except that some event would happen at the end of the story to make a cliffhanger so you would need to read on to get a resolution, but the resolutions were never worth it. They were lackluster and again, seemed contrived. I never got a chance to really get worked up about anything because any drama was over as quickly as it started. I didn't care much for Jules. Her whole persona annoyed me, and Mark just came off like a whipped teenager in the relationship, rather than the hardcore killer he supposedly was. It was all just very bizarre, and I'm not sure what to think. Everything just seemed too much and not enough. I do feel for Cove and everything he went through, and maybe I would have liked this story better if I would have read the Nova series first.

In these books you will have the pleasure of meeting Mark, son of Paul Jameson and Sophia,s older brother.
Mark has a hotel in the mountains, a young girlfriend that is as fucked up in the head as he is, a teenager son who hates his guts and also he has a vigilante complex.
He will kill to protect his family since many of his father’s enemies will knock on his door seeking revenge.
Mark is cocky, controlling and has a dark sense of humor. You gonna love him.

This is Mark Jameson’s story, Sophia’s brother. He is arrogant, cocky, a vigilante and sleeps with every available until he meets Julia. This series has it all..suspense, twists, humor and yes some parts are dark. I loved the interaction between Mark & Julia, Mark & his son Jack. It was interesting how you can read about a man who is a vigilante and yet you love this character. I totally enjoyed this series. I’m just sorry I didn’t read it sooner. Love this author.

I started these books with some trepidation. It was recommended to me but I didn't know if I would like them. Once I started reading this series though I couldn't put it down. Mark Jameson is the owner of the hotel and Jules works his front desk. They start out friends with benefits and it slowly develops into love. Mark's past is horrible he was a porn star for is twisted fathers porn company. His sister Sophia was a star there too. That's where she meets her husband Cove. Cove suffered the most torment and abuse at the hands of their father Paul's hands. I laughed so hard at times in this book but there were also times I was so mad and felt so bad for all 3 of them. Jules is what settles Mark's heart and quiets his demons. There are so pretty crazy twists. All in all a great series. I wish I had read Nova first though.

Oddly wonderful

There is bad language, odd story... some strange characters. For some reason I absolutely loved this off the wall book. A great break from the norm. I can't wait to read more from this author!

Too much violence for me. The enjoyment of all the killings by the three individuals was very disturbing. Sorry, wish I could give a more positive review.
