Drew and Colette
This is a sweet mail order bride tale that really wasn’t. It was written by Indiana Wake and she has filled the pages with excitement, love and adventure. Drew and Colette met at the Garner ranch when she visited there. They we like cats and dogs and tempers flared. Colette is is youngest and only daughter of a rich man back east that is used to getting his own way and getting what he wants with no back talk. Colette has a run away mouth and is always on her father’s bad side. Now he is sending her yo Texas yo marry a very rich old business acquaintance of his and she wants none of it. She sees this fifty year old as an old pervert. Colette decides to run a way to her aunt home in New Mexico. Sneaking onto the train she meet two other young girls that are to be mail order brides and they agree to travel together only one of the decides not to go forward with it and gives her grooms information to Colette. You will enjoy discovering how Colette and Drew get to get her and find their happily ever after.

Colette is a strong minded young woman who runs from an untenable situation. While her family searches for her, she manages to find her future.

I really enjoyed this book. Very clean. Strong headed woman finds love but has to struggle for it. Engaging characters and good situations. Highly recommend. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Good story
Sometimes fathers should listen. They don't always know what's best. This defiant daughter became a mail order bride and got very lucky.
