Lucien and Sophie have been in relationship for a bit more than a year. They are spending the holidays in his secluded family cabin in his homeland, Norway.
It's the holidays, so let me just say they indeed spiced things up...

And what a sacrifice that is, to spend the holidays naked in front of a fireplace with you...LOL
OMG, I really had forgotten what a delicious dirty talker he is. Sophie is one lucky lady! And I'm not just talking about his sexual appeal, Lucien is an incredible male MC, most of all we can really feel the immense love and devotion he has to her.
I bet he is really as addictive as a drug, but Sophie isn't the only one with the craving in that relationship. Lucien is just as, if not more, obsessed with her.
I really enjoyed this short story, it's mainly a comfort read, where we have a couple with a very stable and strong relationship, but still with a lot of fire and some really HOT sex scenes. We also get a bit more about Lucien's past and his acceptance (with Sophie's help) of it.
In overcoming his remaining inner demons, Lucien is now more open and expectant for their future. ( And from book three we know is a brilliant one! ;) )

Beautiful!
I'm not sure how Kitty French managed to fit so much love, lust and longing into such a tiny little book. Emotional. Eloquent. Erotic.
I loved it!
I was so happy to get another little taste of Sophie & LUCIEN ... I just wish it was longer ... one (mostly naked) day in the life, just doesn't seem like quite enough. But, the story that we do get is wonderful!
This could technically be read as a standalone ... but then you would miss out on all the amazing relationship building and backstory. I recommend reading the full series (probably back to back).

Sophie and Lucien are a very sexual couple and in this book, which can be read as a standalone but ideally should be read between books two and three, was indeed a treat for us who have missed the luscious Lucien and his love, Sophie.
We love our Christmas and spending time with Sophie and Lucien in Lucien’s cabin in Norway, Kitty really sets the Christmas feel for us and made us want to pack our bags and spend the holidays there! Well…as long as we can spend them in front of the fire with Lucien that is *wink, wink.*
There are plenty of heated times between this extremely passionate and erotic couple, lots of reminiscing and fun between in between. What we wouldn’t give to find that hot Viking god under our Christmas tree in a couple of weeks!

When Kitty French announced we'd be getting another dose of the gorgeous Lucien Knight, I was over the moon. And the icing on the cake was that it was going to be a festive novella set in the viking's home country of Norway... in a log cabin ... in a snow storm ... on Christmas eve!!! It really couldn't get much better if Kitty French tried!!!
Well, what can I say other than I absolutely adored this story. It was sweet, swoon worthingly romantic and as hot as hot can get in terms of those sex scenes... holy moly this couple really did pull out all the stops when it came to ensuring they had a kink filled Christmas eve. But this little snippet in the couple's lives wasn't just about the hanky panky. There was a sentimental, nostalgic side too that saw Lucien reminisce about his childhood and in particular his mother and it was those scenes that really tugged at the heart strings and left me feeling both saddened but equally hopeful that our viking would be able to move on from his past.
All in all a wonderful festive addition to the "Knight Series" that has really made me want to go to Norway and stay in a log cabin in the middle of nowhere!!!

It was great to see my horny Viking warrior again and in a remote log cabin done up designer style too. This felt more like the start of a new, longer story than a short standalone as nothing really happened but what it lacked in plot it gave back in plentiful smut. Noice read.

This novella was a complete surprise to me. I saw it flash up on the feed and two second later it was on my kindle. Lucien and Sophie are one of my favorite couples and one of the early books I discovered after readying FSOG. Getting another chance to spend a few pages with them was so worth it!
Lucien has swept Sophie away to his family cabin to spend Christmas. A place that he’s allowed her to make it her own, but still holds so many memories he’s kept buried. As Sophie gives him the only present he needs (Her. Naked.), she gives him so much more.
Although these two partake in quite a bit of steamy sex, there was such depth to the story. I loved that rather than just pages filled with sexy-time, we got a fantastic look into Lucien, into his vulnerability that he shoved down – that same thing we all fell in love with him for in the first place.

This story will definitely go down as one of the guilty pleasures I indulged in for Christmas, and it was calorie free! Lucien & Sophie are alone at his family cabin in Norway celebrating Christmas together. We all know virile and sexy Lucien is and he loves to push Sophie's sexual boundaries, delivering her a whole heap of pleasure in return.

This read is nothing less than a little diamond. We all know it doesn't need to be a huge rock to be of the highest quality. Well, this one is extremely well cut and twinkles throughout! Imagine Christmas Eve... wining, dining, and then slipping on a sexy negligee or something even more daring! Lucien threw down the gauntlet to his woman, she was game and took him up on it. His choice of dress code just happened to be... No, we're not going to let one as we want you to use your imagination. And since we're sure all you fans of this desirable, sex-on-legs, drop-dead gorgeous hunk of a Viking isn't capable of doing things by half, the only thing to do read it. This couple we have both learnt to love are spending the Christmas holidays in Lucien’s cabin in Norway. Their surroundings are outstandingly beautiful, so perfectly described. The author made it easy for us to envisage the warmth, decoration and Noel spirit, and we never expected anything less from her. Simply splendid. Two people who are head of heels in love with each other were at their very best.

Sophie, always ready to please her husband, unintentionally opens up Pandora’s Box. How he faces his deeply buried feelings was going to be an emotional sleigh ride for the reader. Saying that, we didn't have to wait for scenes making us blush in all the right places and apart from that, other feeling we had could not possibly be written in a review. The messages just kept on coming and going! The trouble with this book is it left us wanting more! How we have missed him. But what an amazing Christmas present from one of our favourite authors.

We can't deny that the scorchingly hot moments are in abundance. At times we almost felt like voyeurs as the scenes Ms French wrote were nothing short of magnificent, sensual and erotic! Wow, I think Ms French owes us both a new Kindles as the heat they both generated made them short circuit but then again, we are reading what Mr Knight is capable of doing with his hands! What do you buy the man who has everything? The Christmas present. Sophie thought hard about what would please her man. But she hit the nail on the head! We can’t tell you what she'd gifted him as it would spoil the surprise but it was wonderful and very fitting to the story. It also brought back very happy memories for Lucien from his childhood which in turn, brought about an influx feelings both welcome and unwelcome. Sophie has always had a knack of getting through to Lucien and again, she handles the situation with sensitivity and kindness.

This novella could actually be read as a standalone for anyone who hasn’t read the Knight Trilogy books as it’s not confusing; however, you'd understand the essence of how Lucien ticks, and why only one woman won his heart if this was read after ‘Knight & Play and ‘Knight & Stay’. His generosity towards her and her total devotion is nothing short of exquisite. The author's emphatic writing style captures these sentiments in plenitude. Once again Ms French, you have delighted us with a great read and a little more Lucien which for us, can only be a good thing! Bravo.

This read is nothing less than a little diamond. We all know it doesn't need to be a huge rock to be of the highest quality. Well, this one is extremely well cut and twinkles throughout! Imagine Christmas Eve... wining, dining, and then slipping on a sexy negligee or something even more daring! Lucien threw down the gauntlet to his woman, she was game and took him up on it. His choice of dress code just happened to be... No, we're not going to let one as we want you to use your imagination. Book Review - Knight & Sleigh by Kitty French - 5 Is it just me or is it hot in this cabin?
What do you get if you have a hot viking, an icicle and a norwegian cabin? Sounds like a run up to a joke doesn’t it, but what you really have is a whole load of hot (and cold) sexy time fun.
Lucien has brought Sophie to his norwegian cabin in the snow. Lucien has one thing in mind - a completely naked Sophie for the entirety of their stay. He loves Sophie and everything about her and wants her to be able to revel in her natural state. However, for Sophie this isn’t as easy a state as Lucien would make out. So Lucien has to go out of his way, to think of inventive ways to make Sophie forget all about it.
If you think this is just a sexfest in the snow, you would be partly right. But it’s about so much more. His cabin was Lucien’s childhood escape, and he’s let Sophie have the say in how it was restored. Coming back to this place, reawakens much from Lucien’s past and there are quite a few poignant moments within this.
For those of us who have missed our favourite nor-dick sex god, it was a wonderful time to be able to catch up and revel in all things Lucien, whilst day-dreaming of being Sophie……………..
If you are really feeling the winter chill this year, I recommend picking up this novella - Lucien will have you hot in no time at all……………………….. I’ll never be able to look at an icicle in the same way again.

Nope, can't think of a thing. Especially when it is uber hot Nordic God, Lucien Knight. Kitty French gives fans of the Lucine Knight Erotic trilogy a visit into the Christmas holiday celebration for some panty melting.
This is a short novella, so I'll keep my review short. Do you need to have read the series? Yes. I think you'll be missing some insight into the characters behaviors if you aren't familiar. There isn't a lot of story to be immersed. It's mostly told from Lucien's POV and about his wrestling with the ghosts of Christmas past. And how does he ignore those pesky feelings? Well, having naked times with Sophie of course.
If you are a huge fan of the series, you'll enjoy this short peek into what they are up to. Is it necessary? Nope. The trilogy stands on its own without the novella needed. However, if you need some inspiration holiday reading on the very erotic side, this should fit the bill.

Kitty French has made all my dreams come true, I got the spend Christmas with Lucien Knight !!!! So okay Sophie was there too but I'm willing to share this hot Viking just for the holidays. There's a open log fire, snow capped mountains and a 24hr no clothes rule for Sophie !!! Yep even over the holidays Lucien is still a demanding hot alpha, so hot I had to stop reading this book on the bus for fear of someone reading over my shoulder !
Knight and Sleigh is a quick read perfect for reading in front of the fire with a hot chocolate. We get a little bit of an insight into Lucien's Christmas' as a child and his hopes for the future.
All in all this is a quick read to get you in a sexy Christmas mood - perfect !

Another great book by the amazing Kitty!
I already read the Knight Trilogy but I feel a reread is in order because of this! This book blew me away! I forgot how much I missed my Viking King and all his sexy glory! Ugh, I just can't even with him!
And Sophie, my dear poor Sophie! She is still one of my favorite characters! Of course the chemistry is always off the charts and it never gets old but I am just blown away by this one.

I loved reading more about Sophie and her Viking. It was heart warming to see them a couple of years on and it's always nice when the book is purely about the happy times they now share.

I loved the first books in this series - they were amazing!
This one is short
Very sexy and the connection between the characters remains but this wasn't for me.
I found myself skimming through it and not connecting at all with the characters myself. To me it was all about sex..which is fine but not for me.

It was nice spending time with Lucien and Sophie again. They're spending the holidays at Lucien's cabin. Lucien incorporated some Norwegian traditions along with a new one called "Naked Christmas" where Sophie has to be naked all day. This was a fun, short read. A good mix of steam and nostalgia. I enjoyed it.
