About the author

Renee Roszel is the author of over 40 romance novels. She has been named Oklahoma Writer of the Year and has been a National Rita Finalist several times as well as a finalist multiple times in Romantic Times Short Contemporary Romance category. She is married, the mother of two sons and the grandmother a boy and girl who live way way too far away for Renee's taste!

Besides writing Renee volunteers her time with her local Animal Shelter's thrift Shop, which she helped start several years ago. She is proud of both her writing career and her volunteering. Both have brought her great friends, happy times and a warm and fuzzy feeling around the heart.

Mary O'Mara is furious. For two full years she has been doing all she can to get her employers grandson, and only living relative, to visit. It took a small fib on her end to finally get him here. That fib was the final straw in her hate fest. Bonner Wittery was rotten to the core. Which makes her that much angrier when he don't seem to be the evil person she made him out to be.

Poor Tag can't let Mary know the truth of who he is. And even if he could....ends up the women hates lawyers just as much, if not more, than playboys. Some great secondary characters and situations as well. A lusty cook, an ex who don't take no for an answer, and Mary's little sister Becca who her step-father tries to keep away from her.

Tentang Taggart seorang pengacara andal, yang mencoba membantu Bonner untuk berkunjung ke Witterring, ke rumah Nenek Bonner, karena tidak enak menolak permintaan Bonner yang mengatakan jika neneknya sedang kritis, akhirnya Taggart setuju² aja, padahal aslinya Bonner cuma gak mau nama dia dicoret dari ahli waris, ckckck... Oh ya, Taggar datang dengan menyamar sebagai Bonner si playboy ulung,,, demi membuat Miz Witty (nenek Bonner) bahagia... Well, kenapa Bonner gak bisa dateng sendiri? Karena dia lagi terjebak urusan hukum, semacam... Tahanan kota? 🤔 jadilah Taggart menggantikan Bonner

Mary itu perawat pribadi Miz Witty, awal mula pandangan pertama Taggart sama Mary nih langsung terpesona, gadis manis, lembut, suaranya merdu berhasil membuat Taggart yang menutup diri sama yang namanya cinta (lagi) akhirnya tersentuh. Tapi..... Begitu Mary jauh dr Miz Witty, Taggart dihadapkan sama Mary yang sangat² membenci Bonner,,, peran yang lagi Taggart jalani.

Galau galau... Mau ngungkapin juga gak bisa, karena demi kebaikan Miz Witty,,,
Akhirnya Taggart ngikutin alur aja, ditambah ada Pauline yang demen banget grepe² ampe rela manjat lantai 2 supaya bisa masuk ke kamar Taggart wkwkkw... Ni si Pauline ampun dah kagak ngarti banget klo si Taggart nolak secara halus, tapi sih Taggartnya juga yang kebangetan alus klo ngomong, bilang klo Pauline seksi, karenaaa.... Sifat Pauline yang berani dan bisa dipercaya wkwkkwk... Yailah cewek mana paham dikata begitu buat nolak, mana Taggart bilang dia juga kagum sama Pauline yang berani manjat kamar dia tanpa ragu² haha.... Ya kan Pauline juga gak salah sih, dia taunya Taggart itu Bonn si Playboy yang mau aja ama siapapun haha... Yang kerjaannya naklukin wanita manapun...

Eeehhh sama Pauline udah beres malah datang Lee, cewek yang baru diputusin hubungannya sama Taggart, berani datang ke Wittering cuma buat nentuin nasibnya, kira² bakal bisa balik lg gak gitu sama Taggart. Atuh si Taggart udah jatuh hati sama Mary, mana bisa laahh... Lagian Lee itu cuma apa ya bilangnya, karena desakan Bonn yang bilang Taggart mesti kencan setelah waktu lama selepas ditinggal istrinya meninggal, akhirnya Taggart jalin hubungan sama Lee. Tapi ya gitu, Lee bukan tipe yang cocok buat Taggart...

Gedeg banget dah ama si Lee tuh, mungkin karena jiwa seorang pengacara jadi dia tuh percaya diri banget, bahkan sinisnya kentara jelas apalagi sama Mary, Taggart sendiri emang jenis cowok yang nggak bisa nyakitin orang pake kata² kali ya, pengen banget denger Taggart ngejelasin gamblang klo hubungan mereka udahan, pengennya lagi Taggary beneran ngelempar Lee ke jurang, tapi apalah, Lee juga tau klo Taggart cuma becanda, jadi dia cuma ngikik aja nanggepinnya,, bikin Mary ngereket hatiii.... Ish!

Endingnya.... Hihi, baca aja daaahhh... Seru pokoknya, tapo ya karena ini hq, jd ttp lah berasa ada yang kurang, ada bagian yang agak kecepetan gitu. But, ist okeeyyy... Asik banget ceritanay plus gaya berceritanya juga gak kalah seruuuu...
