What an awesome turn of events in this story. In book 2, Maria is completely turned in and turned on by Robert. Since book 1, she is devoted to Robert and wants to give him everything BUT she is also still lil Miss Mercenary Miss. Now she isnt having things for herself, no, they are for Robert and making things better for him and in turn, her . In book 2, she is having him use his awesome powers in turning the women she chooses into his love slaves. There are some twists and turns coming into play with the Sunshine Insurance manager, the sheriff in town and his wife...Also the need to breed his love slaves is hitting Robert hard...he is getting frustrated with Maria but at the same time he is falling deeper in love with her--he wants to make her his queen...will her games change things between them and the behind the scenes happenings with the sheriff change things? I cannot wait for book 3. The love scenes in this book were soo hot and I loved it. Robert and Maria were awesome together.
