Take a fast ride with the Devil
While Devil is the story of a devilishly good looking ex-race car driver turned CEO of his deceased dad’s race car team, Tyler hasn’t given up his thrill for all things dangerous and fast including women. But when he spies Sierra at his annual midnight race event he discovers a gal very unlike any he’s ever known and this one appeals to something inside him saying he has to own her. After a wild and satisfying week with Sierra where the chemistry between them is off the charts, Tyler is left to face his relationship fears. Let’s just say he wasn’t very likeable in his reactions and the way he treats her.
Sierra has grown up in her father’s shop at his side. She can tear apart and reassemble a race car. Fixing the heart of an ex-race car driver is another matter, though. How do you fix something you can’t see or define? Why would you stick around when the man you’ve fallen in love with suddenly treats you like the latest flaky bimbo along for the ride. I liked the fact that she packed up and left his butt.
I wasn’t so happy when she took him back all too quickly. While it gives you that HEA it left me wanting a bit more. Devil is a fast and steamy read. So if you are looking for that fast ride of a romance that has every chance of possibility doing a crash and burn or pulling it all together in the last lap then Devil delivers.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Tyler Dawn is high profile, highly successful, a racer, a business man, and all around handsome guy. He meets the lovely Sierra at an event and can't keep his eyes off her and can barely hold himself back from introducing himself to her. The two immediately click, and Tyler finds it refreshing that Sierra obviously knows who he is and is not falling over herself to impress him or is super impressed by his reputation. Sierra is at the event just browsing, she is a mechanic and loves racecars. She is not on the same level as many people at the event but she can carry her own weight. She is there with her best guy friend Colton, whom she is trying to cheer up after his recent break-up. Things heat up between Sierra and Tyler and the two first go on a private tour of some of his cars, then they get real spicy when the two get naked in the back of one those cars. Sierra then goes home with Tyler, which then leads to a roadtrip to Vegas. Tyler realizes that even though he just met Sierra he has strong feelings for her, so he panics and pushes her away, Just like a typical guy, once feelings are involved they can't deal. This was a great, quick read.

But he is thrown for a loop when he sets eyes on a gorgeous red head at a business party. Her name is Sierra long. She too is in the car business. Her father owns REV MOTORS. She has been rebuilding cars all her life. They hit it off immediately. He impulsively asks her to go to Vegas with him for the Grand Prix and off they go. Both are falling hard and fast and it scares the hell out of him. His response is to push her away…and not in a nice way. Sierra picks up the pieces of her shattered heart and goes home, but forgetting is not an option. Compounding that is Colton, her bff, who , in an attempt to make his ex jealous, takes a kiss too far. When a picture of that kiss is published in a racing magazine and Tyler sees it, he decides he is going after her. But is he too late ? Has he hurt her too much for forgiveness? He needs to find out.

I received this for an honest review. Scarlet North is an amazing author.
Sierra has a few surprises in this book. She is a beautiful curvy woman and a mechanic. Sierra had a best friend who was also like a brother by the name of Colton. He was her rock. She hated that Colton was pinning over this loser ex girlfriend by the name of Lana. But she bites her tongue.
Tyler was this handsome CEO billionaire of one of a successful racing company. Tyler screams sex god and any woman would be happy to have little attention from him. While at a party Tyler spots this beautiful bomb shell. She is breathe taking but she appears to be with someone. All Tyler knows is he has to have her.
Sierra and Tyler are in for a rock road. Sierra is falling for Tyler, but Tyler seems to be broken. He will show her what it is to love, hate, and have a broken heart. Can Sierra help Tyler face his fears or will Tyler run and leave Sierra hurting?

Going to one of Tyler's parties on the off chance she might get to at least catch sight of him, neither expect the pull they feel for each other.
A sweet story about living life hard and fast. Sierra is not the typical hot girl expected at racing events and Tyler is the typical egomaniacal CEO. Together their chemistry is out of this world. I needed to know if things were going to work out for this couple. They represent the chance that love interested arise when you least expect them to. But things move fast, and fast in relationships doesn't always result in a win.

I really enjoyed this book, and I loved the fact that the female lead was a mechanic. I've only found one other book with that, and I would love to see more female leads having jobs that are normally gave to the male lead. Sierra was awesome, and I really liked her. Tyler had his good and bad moments. I did like him, but he annoyed me a couple of times when he made a few jerk decisions.
I was happy to see that things worked out with the promise of an HEA for them, but I felt like Tyler should have done more to make up for how he'd acted. I also would have loved an epilogue to see them in the future and maybe something cute for them. I hope that we get to see Colton get his own story in the future. And maybe see a bit more from Sierra and Tyler.

The trouble is, turning your back on an addiction is harder than it seems.
This was an entertaining story. I really liked the storyline and the characters but I would have liked Sierra to have shown a little more backbone when Tyler came back looking for her and I would have liked a little more to the ending. Otherwise overall it was an enjoyable read.

fast paced story, well written. i'm glad to see it's no tagged as a bad boy romance because the version that i saw before spoke of a stepbrother romance and i kinda failed to see that connection in this book.
a young powerful racing CEO is used to taking what he wants when he sees it. when he sees Sierra, it doesn't take him long to swoop her of her feet. when he starts to have genuine feelings he's also very fast to let her go again.
the jo-jo effect of his feelings doesn't go unnoticed by her and when he lets her go it hurts and she has a hard time accepting it.
will he come to his senses of will he stay the arrogant CEO they all know him to be?

A whirlwind adventure. Sierra attends a racing function and comes to the attention of Tyler. "This thing between them. Loved the book! It's fast paced and has lots of hot, sexy scenes where ever these two go! Don't get me wrong, the book is not just about wild, rough, emotional, steamy eyed sex in different places (where oh where could you do it at the fair?). There's a lot of chemistry between Sierra and Tyler and Scarlett North has captured it perfectly. I liked that they were drawn to each other instantly and went forth from there. It was fun going on the wild ride with the two of them. Nothing that wild and crazy lasts forever, right? Or does it? Read and find out, you'll enjoy the ride! I was lucky enough to receive this as an ARC in return for an honest review!

Hmm I'm loving these bad boy romances, & Scarlet sure knows how to write them. Once I started reading this, I couldn't put my ereader down.... I was entranced! I needed to know if our lead Bad Boy Tyler would change his ways, allow someone in to help him feel again. The heat between Tyler & Sierra was unbelievably HOT! The twists, turns, steamy scenes, then throw is a possible new love interest & everything just comes together & drags you into the book, keeping you hostage until you finish. What a race! I can't wait to read what Scarlet comes up with next.

This is a love story of two very unlikely people who get together through chemistry and attraction. The female is a car mechanic for her father in the racing world. The lead man is a billionaire who lost his father a few years back and has never really had a long term relationship. He’s also one of the lead persons when it comes to the race car enterprises. The chemistry is overwhelming and he gets scared. Wonderful story to read.

This is a highly intense and addictive read that I simply couldn't get enough of! Sierra and Tyler have a chemistry together that's off the charts explosive and I loved reading their story. I was a bit worried when things went sideways for these two, but was happy with the way things turned out in the end. I highly recommend this book and this author to anyone and I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.

Even though this is the first book I have read in the series.I have to say I like it a lot. My only issue was I would've like Sierra to put up more of a fight Tyler really hurt her but she forgave him so easily. The end also felt rush to me would've like a little bit more. But besides that it was a good read.

Sierra and Tyler have lots of chemistry. Their story in the racing world is full of heartbreak and passion. This is a good story with several different aspects. I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Scarlet tugs on your heart strings with this one. From page one you are on a whirlwind adventure while Sierra and Tyler try to figure out what's between them. Fast paced, sexy and romantic this book is a must read
