ewww really freaking bitchy bliss gets a book No way in hell would i read this first off i really dont care if she slept with so many guys and its a total ho but she really was a malicious character especially towards all the other heroines in the series and specially to my fave heroine Lily....and i really dont care to read about her getting her own HEA she is one of my most hated characters on a series and seriously Authour Not everyone deserves there own book! In lucky choice the only part i actually liked was when Bliss got kicked out and finally got what she deserve I freaking Cheered...but now she gets her own freaking book! and i still have to wait for killmaya to get her own book but this bitch gets one first booooooooo
Until You Have Walked In Someone's Shoes...Don't Judge! All of you haters will be surprised at how much you will come to like Bliss. She isn't a bad person, just looking for the concept of "love" in the wrong places. I actually like Bliss, everyone can understand liking a guy and having him not return your feelings. We have all had pain in our lives...so don't judge until you get the whole story!
And might I mention that it was "THE CLUB" who decided that Razer would have his hands in Bliss' pants to make Beth leave...yea, she has been naughty many a times, but she also was hesitant to show Winter her tattoo (remember), and she didn't participate in the "Lucky Goodbye Orgy" because she liked Willa too much!
SHE ISN'T AS BAD AS SOME OF THE HATERS PORTRAY! #TeamBliss
Her story is amazing...Full review to come. #ChristmasMiraclesDoHappen
I started with 5 stars, because well Jamie is one of my fav's. Even if it was about bliss! I started reading.. Then my stars slowly dwindled. 4 stars: bliss your personality even if you don't exist still sucks! And you need to get over shade. 3 stars: your selfish, rude and you seriously need to get over shade. 2 stars: you treat everyone who cares for you like shit! Unless their a biker with a pecker! 1 star: because I'm kind :) and... Because you finally got over shade
Ok, so I read this even when I said I was not going to. I read the reviews and everyone said she is redeemed and how we get to see why she is the way she is. So, my take, I did not like this book, I don't like Bliss. I did not "see" why she was the way she was. I still think Shade should have taken her out. The Last Riders still had her back even though she messed with their lives, marriages and she was just an awful person. Did not like that either. But then again I'm an asshole so....
I will say I can't wait till Train's book. I'm not going to stop reading the series. But I am never going to be a Bliss fan. Nope no sympathy here.
3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads. ======================= UPDATE: I'll skip this book on my re-read list to wait for Gavin's third book, once it was torture enough. I hate this bitch!
No final ela concretizou todos desejos dela e tudo ficou numa boa.
-----------------------
The most important fact of the book is that we learned that the members of the Club have little dick. Bliss which is known as a "walking vagina" was amazed with the size of the Drake's dick.
The author tried to garner sympathy from the reader to the heroine. She presents us with Bliss as a suffering person and full of issues. Created in a horrible environment and raped at the age of 15 years to serve as club whore in another Club. After being rescued by members of the Last Riders she seeks to please all members with sex to raise love and protection. She assigns her terrible attitude to feel jealous of the Club members who were arranging women outside the Club. Our hero is in love with Blis and I found their story without a lot of tribulations. No other women interfering and making her feel insecure or jealous. In the end she realized all her wishes and everything was fine.
She's not a "biker bitch" she is a "club whore". Is what I have to say!
I think the author is phoning these books in. (I'm actually wondering if it's the same writer or someone just sharing her name.) It's not like the quality of the books was excellent to begin with, but they just keep getting dumber and dumber. This one was better than Fat Louise and the author managed to make Bliss a more sympathetic character but it's all full blown fantasy land. I think I'm getting off this train for a while. I have no desire to read the other two spin off series that relate to the original Last Riders series. I'll wait for the Train and Killyema book to come out before I pick up another one of her books again. It was fun while it lasted, but I need to go jiggle my brain cells and get some IQ points back.
I hate hate hate when an author will make a character a bad person in a book and then turn around and give them their own story where we're supposed to like them. I am usually so adamant about refusing to read them and never giving said character a chance. So when Jamie Begley announced the Bliss was going to get a book I was really conflicted on whether or not to read it. I hated her for what she did in the previous books and for always being so evil to the girl of the The Last Riders. But also JB is one of my favorite authors and if anyone can change my mind about a character, it's her.
Long story short, I gave the book a try and I was pleasantly surprised with it. I went in expecting to hate Bliss and hoping that Drake would be an amazing enough Hero to make the book bearable. What I got were two characters that I couldn't help but love. Bliss did make a lot of mistakes in the other books but when we got her story and realized how much she was hurting when I felt for her. I can't say I forgave her for what she did, because I didn't, but getting an understanding of why she did it, made me feel a lot better about the situation. I don't want to say what her story is, you'll just have to read for yourself and find out, but I can say that I think a lot of people that were once against her will end up changing their mind like I did.
I loved her and Drake together and he was the perfect person to finally rein in Bliss. He's wanted her before she was kicked out of The Last Riders and now that she's no longer a member he finally gets his opportunity to approach her. He didn't just want a one night stand like she's used to, he wanted a commitment and for Bliss to give him a shot at being her one and only.
Overall, I know many people are against this story, like I was, but I think that it's a book worth given a shot and that many people will be surprised with it. Bliss' past isn't a pleasant one but it does show us her perspective from when she made those mistakes and it made me think differently about them like I think it will many people.
This book was as awful as I feared. I'm not sure why I tortured myself. I knew this author got a screwed up sense of redemption. How she believes the club whores ( who choose that position) are above the wives. Hell, the whore get more respect than the ones actually wearing the rings. Screwed up? Right? Right??
I don't care how Bliss because the hateful cold hearted B*tch she is today. I think she deserves every bad thing that happens to her because she does nothing to change. Oh, and apparently she shouldn't because she has a platinum p*ssy that allows men to go brain goop around her. She gets whatever the he'll she wants. Guess what?? Ya remember how she was kicked out of a certain place? Well, she is no longer out. Fucked up. I think I'm done with begley and her so-called Alpha bikers that are more like wimps that think with only their Dicks... literally. All they do is F*ck. Maybe this author needs to read a little more Kristen Ashley to get what Bikers are besides the screwing.
FYI... Real alpha males, shit, any male that loves their woman takes her over a whore. Just sayin.
Jamie Begley Writing... great as always. Bliss, in my opinion didn't deserve redemption, I'm sorry. Jamie loves forgives all people in her books, it pisses me off sometimes. Another thing that I hate in this book, Bliss sit with Killyama and start a conversation as if they were friends... oh please... Jamie Begley, I love your books, but there are things that I can't stand. Until today I don't know how these women from your books can be so kind as to live with prostitutes from the club, as if nothing had happened... seriously. By the way, my hope is that Killyama, proves to be the best woman in this series. She was always strong and determined, but I'm starting now to think that the only woman who could save the honor of the wives, once again will succumbs to lust and accepted "everything" by her man. Please don't do this, don't make Killyama be like the others, please.
DNF.....I tried. I really tried but I just couldn't deal with Bliss and her attitude. I did read the preview of Penney and Jackal and that was awesome.
I always had a soft spot for Bliss, even if sometimes I want to smack her across the head, but I always thought there were more to her. Like Evie, I knew there had to be a reason why she was a member and reacted the way she did to the fact that each male member getting hitched one by one, especially regarding Shade because she had always loved him.
Truth to be told, I was always waiting for her book because I always knew Jamie Begley will give her her own story. So when it was revealed earlier (in previous novels) that Drake had a crushed on Bliss, I just knew there WILL be a book for these two. LOL.
I think I was the only few that was actually happy that Bliss will finally get her happily ever after. :D I was really excited when Jamie announced that is was going to be a Christmas special and even more happy that I was able to grab it today and read. (I played hookie from work and read it all in one sitting.) Although i was hoping for a Chirstmas novel that give me more glimpse into the Last Rider's marriage life during the holidays, I really happy to see Bliss getting her story told.
Let me say, Bliss did not disappoint me. Beneath all that bitchy exterior was a such fragile and insecure heart that all I wanted to do was pull her into my arms and give her a hug. I always knew she was a sweet girl underneath and Drake was a smart man for being able to see it long before Bliss even realized it herself.
That past of hers did not excuse her for what she'd done but I feel that it was more than enough for me to forgive her for it. In any case, she redeemed herself overall, in this novel, although i don't feel like it is much of redemption as it was Bliss finally coming to term with her own self-worth.
I truly enjoyed this story. i didn't think I would like Drake as much as I would the Last Riders, but I admit that was one badass man. I wouldn't mind having my own Drake after getting to know him. He was exactly what Bliss need after her life in club. I didn't put him for an alpha, but boy was I wrong. They were a perfect match, one pushy and domineering while the other person need just that to find true herself.
The only problem I really have this novel is that I feel that Bliss fell for him just a little too fast that I was kind of blindsided by it. I know Drake already cared for her, but with how insecure and closed-off Bliss is about her feelings, I expected her to hold out even longer before realizing her own feelings about him. Oh, one more thing, I wish there were more scenes of her and little Darcy because I though their little relationship was pure sweetness!
Other than that I really enjoyed the novel, especially last two final chapters. I hope Jamie would also write about the next generation because little Logan and Darcy in the epilogue was pure magic. :D
Please give Bliss a chance, she's an amazing woman if you give her the chance and she had won me over long before the story even come to an end.
But before I got, I just want to say "HOW COULD YOU, JAMIE?!! How could you leave me hanging with that prologue!!! I want more!" LOL. Sorry for that little rant. I've been waiting a long time for Penni and Jackal's story and knew that I should have NOT read that prologue. Now I'll be high strung about it until it comes out. My friends will be blocking me on social media because I won't be able to shut up about it. lol.
Bliss may be a bitchy, backstabbing hoe-bag, but she's got bigger balls & way more brains than all the Last Riders put together.
Not that that's saying much.
Since their combined ball count must equal less than 2 & their combined IQ score must equal even less.
Why else would they let that unrepentant, unredeemed, backstabbing hoe-bag back into the club without having to do a single damned thing to earn it or having to do anything to make up for the shitty things she did to their old ladies?
I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this book but I did and I still have zero "like" for Bliss. Totally not a redeeming quality about her, yes she has had it rough, but at no time did she have a "holy cow I am a total bitch whore to the wives" moment. Did she feel remorse? It seemed the author tried to make it seem that way but given the chance, I am sure she would slide right back into the clubhouse and start acting herself all over again. Drake deserves better
Bliss, Bliss I didn't love her and I didn't hate her but I can't say I loved this book. I felt it was very rushed, the writing wasn't great and to me Bliss needed to grovel a bit more to the women of the club.
I just didn't buy her redemption not that she was a bad person but the way she always talked about the Riders when she was with Drake I was kind of like most guys would be like can you shut the F up about them and focus on me for a minute.
This story was waaaaay better than the previous two Ms. Begley has released. I never could understand the hate some of the people have for Bliss. I'm in the minority that really liked her. You get her background and you understand her better. Glad she got her HEA. He was perfect for her.
First, I have to say that I was on the Hate Bliss Bandwagon. However, I knew, KNEW!, that if anyone could make me feel differently about her, it would be Jamie.
OMG, do I love Jamie Begley! Her stories are so engrossing, so in depth, and you can't help feeling like you know all her characters personally. She writes in a way in which you fall into her worlds, want to be a part of them, and feel the same emotions they feel. Every one of her books makes me cry, laugh, sigh, and completely fall in love over and over again. Consuming is the word to describe when I pick up one of her books. And, you can read them over and over again, finding new nuisances every time.
Bliss's story is so tragic. Readers had no idea what her background was; just that she was a jealous, spiteful, major b**** to every woman who joined the club. Her downfall was building up until Lucky, when she just went too damn far. Oh, how I wanted to smack her in Lucky's book! Now, out in the cold, metaphorically speaking, she wants to stay close to the bikers, yet can't even acknowledge their presence. What we all know from reading previous books is that someone has been waiting for their opportunity to move in...
Concluding, we find out Bliss's sad past, which definitely changed my perspective of her, and I felt that I got the closure I needed to why she acted the way she did. I still think she was wrong, but I'm more understanding and very happy by the end of the book to the redemption she has found. And the ending had me crying happy tears for her!
Lots of laughs in this book, danger, surprises, endearing moments, and hot as hell sex scenes. I can't wait to dig my nails into the next read!
If you read my prior reviews on this series, you know I don't like Bliss. I wasn't looking forward to her book. I just knew I couldn't relate to her after all the wrongs she had caused to the members of the MC. After reading it, I found myself not hating her. She's still not my favorite person.
So what did I like about the book?
First I really liked Drake. He was determined to make Bliss believe she was worth it to him. He helped her regain her confidence, provided a sense of security and try to make her feel a part of a family.
Second, the appearance of all the secondary characters. I got a little more Cash, Greer, Shade, Sex Piston, Rachel and some new characters were introduced. I also learned how Rider got his name.
Third, it made me super excited for Train and Killyama's book. I know it's going to be awesome!
Overall, I liked it. It didn't redeem Bliss in my eyes, but at least now I can tolerate her.
I really didn't want to read this book, as I despise this woman to no ends. However, it did give me a new perspective of the inner workings of this homewrecker among other things.
I won't say I have sympathy for her, but I do sort of now understand why she was a complete b****. She did have a hard childhood, which didn't get much better as she became an adult. Fear is never a reason to be nasty and hurtful to other people, which is what she intentionally did. Because of that, I can not like this character.
I do not believe in a million years that the wives just welcomed her back with open arms. This would not happen in their current lifetime or 100 lifetimes after that. Its just not plausible. I know this is mean, but I kind of wish she would have pushed up on Stud so that Sex Piston and Killyama would have given her the beating she deserved.
Overall, I am glad that I read it. I hope Rider gets a book!
I can't believe I'm going to write this, but.... Ms. Begley actually made me like Bliss. Never in a million years would I think I'd feel this way, but if anyone could make it possible, it would be her. And Drake...OMG, he's a perfect BBF and great for Bliss!! I had a few teary eyes moments while reading, lots of laugh out loud moments (the Porters) and moments that melted my heart (Darcy). Of course this is JB, so there were some incredible sex scenes too! Just for the record, Drake is on the same playing field as the other Last Riders for me. I didn't think I'd like his character as much as I do! This was a wonderful addition to the series and I look forward to Penni and Jackal's story!!
On the one hand, I'm really glad that Bliss got a happy ending after she was treated like crap in the last book. I also liked that Drake only had eyes for her. They worked well together.
On the other hand, it bothered me that Bliss's backstory was so similar to Evie's. The only two sexually experienced heroines have both been violently raped? That's problematic and sexist. Also sexist, dudes constantly making choices for Bliss "in her best interests." It's patronizing as hell. Dude, she's a grown ass woman. I didn't love either of those aspects.
