Where to start to review this book? I will start by saying I was outraged whilst reading this. If even half of what he wrote in this book is true, everyone should be outraged. It all started when he became furious that British Soldiers returning from Afghanistan and parading through the streets of his hometown, Luton, England, were spit upon and called baby killers by extremists in the Muslim community in his town etc...while most of the town were there trying to honor the soldiers. The police protected the ones spitting on the soldiers and arrested those who dared take issue with the disrespectful actions toward their soldiers.

I was going to put this at the end of my review, but decided to move it here. For a taste of what is going on..go watch a British TV reporter return to her hometown of Luton (ironic they chant "British police go to hell" when the police always side with them no matter how violent or nasty they get):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nP0XT...

I highlighted so much of this book there is no way to convey the injustice he has faced in his country. I know he is a controversial figure because he started the English Defence League...but he later left it due to the inability to keep out people who were hateful and wanted to use it as a platform for racism. He said that was the biggest battle was keeping out racists. The buddies he started his protests with and were lifelong friends were white, black, Indian etc. He was trying to make a statement about keeping Britain towns and culture....well...British and free and tolerant and inclusive. In Luton Islamic extremists have made it so dangerous that women who are not covered are in danger just walking through town. Lest you think I'm just taking his word for what is happening in Luton, he would many times refer the reader to youtube and the internet to look things up and see for yourself what is happening. Terrifying. For an example, if there was a scuffle between a Muslim child and a non-Muslim child in the schools, often a group of several adult Muslims would be at the school when it got out and beat the non-Muslim child. He also refers to the grooming and raping of thousands of young girls that happened in Rotherham England (look it up)...and many other towns in England including Luton (to his cousin as well). All authorities in those towns turning a blind eye for a decade or more because it was not politically correct to bring attention to it. It is unbelievable. He also stresses how it is the working class people in the working class towns who are suffering the most. The rich don't have to deal with it so they don't care.

But the most outrageous thing to me is how he has been persecuted by the judicial system in England because of his non-PC views or, I guess, having the audacity to shed light on a problem no one wants to tackle. He gives names of prosecutors, jailers, judges. He would be put into prison then thrown to the wolves (radical Islamic extremists who run the prison populations and radicalize anyone who goes to prison or they will kill them..that is another terrifying trend) to be beaten until he was unrecognizable. He was put in solitary confinement for months on end. He was arrested for no reason many times. He and his family received death threats from extremist Muslims constantly (threatening to chop his children up and rape and kill his wife for example)...and went to the police many times with proof but they usually said there was nothing they could do (a couple times his family was given protective detail). However, his cousin got arrested for just calling one of those extremists a bad name. The same cousin was chased by a an extremist with a rifle - he was lucky he could run and jump fences or he'd be dead. That being said, there are a few times his case of the moment would come before a brave judge who would chastise everyone involved for such a bogus arrest/imprisonment/fines/etc and dismiss it. Thank goodness for those who are still brave enough to call things for what they are, political correctness be damned. Even so, the businesses he started and, the home he bought and all the money he made working hard are all gone due to all of the persecution. If you listen to him in interviews, he is obviously a very smart man who loves his country and wants the best for it.

Since he left the EDL, he has been consulting with Quilliam (Quilliam is a London-based think tank that focuses on "counter-extremism", specifically against Islamism, which it argues represents a desire to impose any given interpretation of Islam on society) about the problem of huge groups of Muslim extremists trying to take over British cities and impose medieval rule and compliance to it. The leaders Quilliam are Muslim and adhere to a modern view of practicing Islam while also embracing the values and traditions of the country you live in, and respecting the rights of non-Muslims to adhere to their own religious practices....to just basically live the way everyone should...be loving and peaceful and get along with everyone. Shouldn't be that hard!

Tommy makes no assertions that he is perfect and has never been in trouble. He admits to having had alcohol and drug problems at certain times in his life...and getting into trouble at football matches at times with his friends. The writing style of the book is at times "stream of consciousness" and there are times when things are repeated, but still an illuminating book and heartbreaking to read about what he's been through. But also heartbreaking to hear about what has happened to his hometown and other working class towns in England.

Just for reading this book and writing this review, some of you may think me what some have called Tommy, a racist. I am not a racist (not that being Muslim is a race). I believe in freedom of religion and love all people regardless of creed, religion, race, ethnicity. What I don't think is right is trying to take a free modern democratic society and try to force it back to the Dark Ages with a political Islamist ideology that oppresses women and wants every other group of people to comply with its rule or die.

Tommy was totally mistreated by the media and the authorities for being a person who just wanted to have his freedom of speech,he says he's not racist and has Asian and black friends and has nothing to do with the far right,he tells his story before and during and after the EDL,and goes into his experiences with the authorities and how they tried to destroy his life just for speaking his mind and using freedom of speech, this is a eye opening book about how far the authorities will go to stop freedom of speech,it was like shawshank redemption on steroids.great book.

The first time I came across this man was on the now-defunct television programme BBC3: Free Speech. Something quite odd was going on. Several members of the audience were telling him he was racist and he kept saying 'Please tell me something I've said that's racist'. The response from the audience member was then to simply scream that he was racist as if that meant they'd won the argument.

A journey into discovering who Tommy Robinson is will not be a comfortable one. In polite society the only choice is to declare him as absolutely evil if you want an easy life and some career prospects. Even just to defend his right to speak, not be physically assaulted, or to listen to his words at face value could land you in all sorts of trouble.

Sometimes you hear that it's healthy for children to be taught to question everything: question authority figures, question the status quo, question received wisdom. Well maybe some adults should question some received wisdom as well. That doesn't mean you have to go from one side to the other, because there are more than two teams. Just get a bit of balance, be fair and think for yourself.

If another religion was doing what's been done in the name of Islam in the UK in the last fifteen years would you be racist for holding it to account? I'm not sure you would. If someone organised a protest movement against the same behaviour, but from another religion, would he be called a racist monster? I'm not sure he would either.

Tommy (Stephen Lennon) Robinson - I still don't know what to make of you.

Given the public profile I was surprised that he could read, let alone write or was there a ghost writer?

The book describes from Tommy's point of view the EDL's formation and the political and legal consequences of his involvement.

Tommy present himself as not being a far right racist thug and actually provides compelling evidence that he isn't. Whatever you think of him, you cannot deny he is frightened by his vision of multicultural Britain. Given his experiences in Luton (a town I have visited on a number of occasions) you can appreciate his fears. I recognise now that he comes from a place of fear, rather than hate.

It was distressing to read his account of how the police and judicial system bullied and intimidated him and put him at risk to silence him. If you don't like what he has to say, fair enough but don't try to facilitate his death.

I did what he keeps suggesting throughout the book, check out the video. And surprisingly there is video evidence to backup many of his claims.

But just when you are warming to him, bang! He seems to be suggesting that Britain (and Europe) should be Muslim free. Which seems somewhat puerile. But to be fair he'd like to kick nazi's out too.

As for the writing style, I had trouble with how repetitive it was throughout and at times it was a rambling (and ranting) stream of consciousness.Hence 3 stars.

Still it's made me question and think - so it was worth a read.

Stirring tale about the ultimate inhumanity of western civilization.

One might think legal systems existed with a large commodity of goodwill and justice. But when a person is sent to jail for a tweet the real criminals then are the ones adorned with legal garments. In the US this is called nifonging someone.

Most books happen somewhere else, while you can read in your 'space space', as it where. Not so with this book. Tommy Robinson shines a bright light on the hidden and dark side of our very own democratic societies. There is very little to feel good about when you have finished his story.

What we see, is a bloke from a poor background, likes football and doesn't mind a rumble every now and then. He wears his heart on his sleeve and speaks openly about the changes he sees in his native city of Luton. The city's islamic influence grows stronger and stronger; Tommy describes the radical gangs, the crime, the violence, the grooming, where young and non-muslim girls are dragged into muslim rape circles. No longer willing to stand by idly, mr Robinson (not his real name) organizes resistance, which he does impetuously and full-passion. He founds the English Defence League, ostensibly an extreme-right organization, an accusation all too easily thrown by polite society.

What happens then is a full redefinition of nifonging. Polite society loses no time in aiming all its legal, semi-legal and illegal weapon arsenal at mr Robinson. Not only mr Robinson, but also his friends and family suffer from the heavy hand of law. Every little thing that he ever did is laid under a magnifying glass and slammed down on him for full effect. He is fined enormous amounts. He is sent to prison. He is falsely accused. He is beset upon by secret agents, aiming to turn him into a plant in the EDL. He is put in the cell together with radical muslims. On purpose. Twice in prison was he beaten up. Once, they even tried to kill him with boiling sugarwater, which would have his skin dropping off, if successful.

It becomes painfully obvious that you can say everything you want. Except when it concerns Islam. The ideology that has turned out to be so destructive for western countries, gets fiercely protected by all means possible. The one ideology that is most in need of a serious and critical appraisal, gets a free pass at everything it does.

Not so its critics. They get thrown in jail, their money taken away, their social lives unravelled, their careers destroyed and their physical bodies abused and beaten on.

Something is very rotten in the western world.

This story had a profound effect on me. I didn't give it four stars for literary merit- that's not what this is. This is a brutally honest story of Tommy Robinson, once called the most hated man in Britain. I think he wrote it himself, without an editor, and that makes it all the more compelling. It's the story of how one man relentlessly sought to expose the horrible truth concerning Islamic radicalization and terror in his working class city of Luton, England, and the government's attempts to silence him. It was a very disconcerting and sad realization for me to learn what the British government can get away with. Go Tommy, you have suffered greatly, and I respect you deeply.

Warning: Do not read this book if you want to believe that Great Britain is still a country with a fully independent judiciary, subject to the rule of law, intent on upholding freedom of expression.

This is the tale of Tommy Robinson's progress from a promising young chap with a good career ahead of him to the bogeyman of the British Establishment, and a hero to many British patriots.
Luton, where he was brought up, has always been a rough town but Tommy grew up in a loving family. He does well at school and secures an apprenticeship. Racism isn't on the agenda - Luton was a multiracial place. He has black and, at first, Muslim friends too. But as he moves into his teens he slowly becomes aware of the huge barrier between the Muslims and the rest of the community.

"I've seen the look in their eyes, seen them shrug their shoulders..... when it's been backs to the wall Islam trumps everything"

He sees the propensity for criminality - drug dealing, theft and violence of the gangs and the 'them and us' mentality. He doesn't claim to be an angel - he gives as good as he gets - but the picture he paints is of a divided community, particularly in the way, as he sees it, that the forces of law and order allow the Muslim community to get away with all manner of provocations. The vicious celebration by some Muslims of the 9/11 slaughter, the open contempt and hatred with which they treat the homecoming of the local army batallion and the apparent collusion of the police galvanise him.

From then on there's no going back. A born leader, he becomes the figurehead of the EDL - hero to some, object of hatred to others, subject to constant threats of violence and death, his assets confiscated by the state and his businesses ruined. But it is he more than anyone who has exposed the corruption and inadequacy of the British Establishment in the face of the growing Islamic threat to British freedom and democracy - the politicians who, terrified by the monster created by decades of multiculturalism and one-sided tolerance, seek only to suppress dissent long enough to see them retired with comfortable pensions or Brussels sinecures. He, and his family, remain to this day the object of persecution by the state, in particular by the unspeakably idiotic Bedfordshire Constabulary.

The book is a fascinating read, entertaining from start to finish, though ultimately depressing as there seems little indication that the politicians will wake up to the unprecedented threat to 2,500 years of Western civilisation. Nor is there much sign that the British people have a clear grasp of the dangers we face.

"I imagined that if the Muslims killed me it would spark a revolution. That the British people would get up off their lazy backsides and realise what was happening. ... The way the country reacted to Lee Rigby's murder gave the lie to that idea."

But there are plenty of humorous moments - he and his cousin climb up to the top of the FIFA building in Zurich to protest against the ban on poppy insignia worn on the English shirts, he gets a friend to organise a meeting with Theresa May and tries to draw her attention to Luton's extremism problems. She is not pleased.

He shows her a picture of a white girl being beaten up by a Muslim gang. She says 'I can't comment'. He replies 'No, but you would if it was a white gang attacking a women in a burkha'.

There it is - the double standard in a nutshell.

Anyone who has met Tommy, or heard him speak (particularly the brilliant way he has of putting down supercilious interviewers who take him for an uneducated and illiterate thug) knows that he is no extremist, but a figure who commands respect among many of his fellow countrymen.

Tommy Robinson - self-styled Luton bad boy, clearly a man of high intelligence who knows the Koran better than the average Muslim, the articulate voice of the remorselessly sidelined traditional working class, bête noire of the leftist Establishment.

The sort of bloke you want on your side when the going gets tough.

Tommy Robinson is man persecuted by the establishment for fighting for Britain's working class and against the Islamization of Britain
He started the English Defence League after British soldiers returning from Afghanistan were spat at and called baby killers.
Is it wrong to oppose Islamization of Britain?
There have been thousands of attacks in Britain on native British people by Muslims, many on young women. Muslims have declared sections of cities in Britain “sharia zones” and have attacked women who walk through these areas not dressed according to sharia codes.
In Britain entire areas have been declared sharia zones and young people and women walking through these areas, dog walkers in parks (because radical Muslims view dogs as unclean) and pensioners in the areas under their control, are being attacked.
and worst of all the sexual grooming gang rape and pimping of hundreds of thousands of British girls.
countless many young lives destroyed, But we must not talk about this because the liberal elites see the sacrifice of white 'chav children' as a small price to pay for the noble ideas of multiculturalism and 'diversity'
Tommy Robinson is , at the time of me writing this review, languishing in prison, for exposing Muslim rape gangs.
John Lennon wrote about a working class hero. Stephen Yaxley-Lennon is a working class hero.
He has my eternal respect and support.

“Terrier of the State” might work equally well as a title. He’s at pains to point out his shortness of stature: Tommy Robinson is terrier like in his dogged pursuit of what he sees to be right, against injustice and a political correctness which can lead to it, and, more importantly he argues, compromises national security.

If a quarter of what Tommy R. says here is right, then God help us cos’ the State and its law enforcers won’t.

I’ve no doubt that Tommy Robinson in all his other guises and aliases (I think I can see why, though!) is no Snow White but equally he’s not many things which the media brand him as – racist, anti semitic, neo-nazi. He’s not anti Muslim, per se. But he is concerned, quite rightly, about extreme Muslim radicalisation within and without our country and how our government and others seem, rather than hindering, to be encouraging this process.

If this man is to be believed, the number of state stitch ups and severe state - abetted beatings ought to entitle him to a massive level of compensation. No doubt if he had converted to Islam he would have got it by now. But he seems to know the Koran too well to want to have more truck with it than is strictly necessary.

This one time leader and co-founder of the English Defence League (EDL) is, I believe, back ‘inside’ yet again at Her Majesty’s pleasure. His book finishes in 2015 but it seems that more of the same is being doled out to him. I believe a number of prominent people, including Morrissey ? have added their voices to the “Free Tommy Robinson” campaign.

I knew little about this man before reading this. I’d caught a few unsavoury whiffs of his ill repute from the media. I now have his side of the story here. I need to know more.

I recommend this to anyone with concerns about Big Brother versus My Quality of Life. Those who like plenty of fantasy alongside their non fiction won’t be disappointed here. Shocking!

Since reading this I've had some interesting feedback, including from Halvor, which has caused me to ponder more about what I've read. Jewish sponsorship/trips to Israel. MI5 approaches mentioned in the book and how come he accumulated so much wealth (invested in property)whilst devoting his life to political activity?

Whilst there's never been any love lost between Tommy Robinson and neo-nazi factions, there seems a bit more to this man and his story perhaps than is written here. Some interesting theories on line....

This story is one of the most disturbing I’ve read. Tommy Robinson is portrayed in the media as a far-right, thuggish, Islamophobic bigot, when the reality is far from the case. To those not familiar with the topic, Tommy Robinson is an activist who founded the English Defence League (EDL) movement which protests against what they perceive as the dangers of Islam. This book is about his time in the EDL, persecution and prosecution by the state and the media because of his activities, and working-class life in Luton.

“Racist” and “Islamophobe” are labels often applied to Robinson, a person who grew up with and is friends with a large number of people of ethnic background, including black people, brown people, and Muslims. Some of these even joined the EDL with him, and were given platforms to speak. When racist elements within the movement protested, Robinson told them to leave if they weren’t happen with his friends. In fact, one of the reasons why he left the EDL was because it had been infiltrated with too many of these bad elements. He describes how the media slurred him with these false labels, even when they knew – and could not believe – what the reality was. On one occasion, he brought along three black friends to meet a Guardian journalist, talking about problems within the community. Robinson was baffled by the subsequent report, which described him and his friends as racists, failing to mention that his friends were black. In another episode, he agreed to allow a Channel 4 journalist access to his life, showing him his diverse circle of friends, and on one occasion bringing the journalist along to hang out in a car with some of Robinson’s Muslim friends. He describes the reaction: “Tom sat watching and listening to it all, and when we got out of the car he simply couldn’t believe what he’d seen and heard. That Tommy Robinson was mates with these Muslim lads.” Nevertheless, the journalist was unable to tell the truth, and felt compelled to label Robinson a racist. It’s clear that a lot of the hatred from journalists is class-based; the media are staffed by middle-class people who are completely out of touch with ordinary people. Robinson writes of the Channel 4 hack, “He actually said that his peers, in private schools and at Oxford and Cambridge, had no experience whatsoever of a life like this. He said they wouldn’t be able to understand the sense of community that we had. Tom came out with us one Friday night to the pub, with the lads, and he said he’d never experienced anything like it, that he’d had a great time, in a community where everyone knows each other and looks after each other.” These liberal bigots, as Owen Jones describes them in Chavs, have a largely mistaken view of the working class as uneducated, stupid, uncouth, and possibly above all else, racists, which justifies and strengthens their own bigotry towards them. By focusing on the supposed racism of ordinary people, these liberals can ignore the real concerns over issues such as living standards, jobs, and housing, and therefore consolidate the status quo and perpetuate inequality. The Guardian are the masters of this.

Another scary side to the story regards the state’s Kafkaesque persecution of Robinson. Unhappy with his activities, they went to extreme lengths to try to shut him down. He has been constantly monitored, arrested, and harassed. He was sent to prison on a minor mortgage-fraud charge which normally does not result in a custodial sentence. As a person well-known among the Islamic community, his life would be under threat in prison; nevertheless, despite his repeated warnings, prison authorities purposely put him in the most dangerous wings, populated with murderers and Islamic extremists serving lengthy sentences. He was attacked, unsurprisingly, a pattern that was to be repeated a few times after he violated often-silly bail conditions and was sent back to prison. Even today, he is still persecuted on largely trumped-up charges.

Tommy Robinson’s writing is readable and engrossing, and his story should worry anyone who is concerned about rights and liberties, but we’ve been shamed and scared into silence – Robinson’s story shows us what happens when we speak out. But ordinary do have the same concerns, as Robinson writes: “When I was interviewed on ITV’s Daybreak, people followed me outside to shake my hand and encourage me to carry on with what we were doing. But would they ever admit to doing that, to voicing their support? Never."

Updated: After two days, I've finally finished reading Enemy Of The State and I will leave up my old review. This book is an eye-opening experience and a powerful one at that. It's still 5 stars from me.

I haven't even finished Enemy Of The State and I'm giving this book 5 stars anyway. I'm almost halfway through, page 129. I wanted to take my time reading it and give Tommy a full proper review; however, there are fascists on here who are trying to permanently ban this book and the just released one called Mohammed's Koran: Why Muslims Kill For Islam. These fascists know that there are no other sites nor bookstores selling Tommy's books. Only Amazon has them. It took me 3 1/2 months to find and get a paperback copy of this book. 3 1/2 months! I even bought it at the Amazon UK site and they lost the book. I wasted a month of my time.

Like I said before in a previous review: "Only fascists hate the truth and they want to censor Freedom of Speech when it doesn't fit their agenda. These haters haven't even bought nor read the book. They can't even give you actual proof of what they claim is "hateful speech." Islam and Sharia Law is not compatible to Western Laws and Western Civilization. Sharia Law is not compatible to the U.S. Constitution. I've been reading and following up on Tommy Robinson for a couple of years now. It's sad, disturbing, and incredible what he had to go through. All Tommy ever wanted to do was to protect those who had no voices, like the 1,400 child rape victims of Rotherham. Politicians, the mainstream media, and the police did absolutely nothing to help these victims. They allowed Muslims to get away with raping, killing, and terrorizing neighborhoods for years. Tommy's a hero and he should deserve a medal of honor. All his books deserve 5-stars."

I fully support Tommy Robinson and Free Speech. If Amazon bans this book, you'll be making a huge mistake.

That concludes my review.

In this book, Lennon gives an honest and un-filtered account of his experiences and treatment at the hands of the criminal justice system. If you’re not from a working-class background, or haven’t experienced the inherent problems resulting from ‘multiculturalism’, I would suggest that before reading this book, you read Douglas Murray’s The Strange Death of Europe. In my opinion, Lennon’s tale is a consequence of the lack of foresight and management by the UK government. The Strange Death of Europe contextualises the accounts of those like Tommy. As Lennon admits, he is far from an angel and he is bluntly honest in discussing his shortcomings and mistakes. However, if his account is to be believed, the government appear to be more interested in pursuing the people blowing the whistle, rather than tackling the root of the problem.

I found this book a fascinating read with some funny twists and turns. At times it did feel like a long list of Lennon’s grievances with the establishment, but then again that is what the book is all about. I thoroughly recommend this book.

Tommy Robinson is the founder and former leader of the English Defence League.
'Enemy of the State' is his memoir. It is the story of how the British police and the powers behind them devoted themselves to shutting down Robinson and the EDL.
Robinson went to jail on a number of trumped-up charges, where he was put in alongside Islamic extremist, including one who was in jail fro trying to kill Robinson and other member of the EDL.
Whatever you like Tommy Robinson or (more likely) not, this is an interesting reading.

Tommy Robinson is like the Hulk

This book is not well written. It lacks an understandable continuity, and is scattered. However, what it lacks in finesse it makes up for with honesty and candor.

Tommy Robinson, as I have recently learned, is a controversial figure in the United Kingdom. He became an activist after witnessing the growth - and political acceptance - of a radical Muslim population in his hometown of Luton.

According to Tommy, a very flawed and very passionate man, there are two sets of laws regarding acceptable speech and activity: one for Muslims, and one for everyone else.

Tommy is continually "nicked" (thrown in jail, for us Americans) for his outspoken protests against extremist Muslims, who are themselves protesting British soldiers, British police, and the United Kingdom in general. While these Muslims burn poppies (I guess this is a huge no-no in British culture), the police do not react and the media do not comment. But when loud Tommy gets out and protests against what they are doing, the media paint him as an extremist, and he is thrown in jail for, essentially, disturbing the peace.

Much of this book is about Tommy's experience with the English justice system. He claims that because of his politically unpopular views he becomes an "enemy of the state." The police use every chance they get to arrest, harass, and make his life miserable.

Here are some thoughts -

1) The book is hard to follow. It's obvious Tommy is a passionate guy, but the story jumps around in time, and it's hard to keep track what events occurred when. I assume that many who read this book are familiar with Tommy and the English Defense League (familiar before reading the book), thus making the scatterbrained story easier to understand. I am not one of those people.

2) Tommy is like the Hulk. He is angry, and he seems to create a lot of collateral damage because of his inability to control his emotions and direct his anger to an effective (measured) cause. Still, when he gets angry, he has no qualms about doing what he feels is right and standing up for his culture and country.

3) I feel like I'm missing part of the story. When I hear about someone who gets (pardon me) the shit end of the stick _that_ much, I can't help but think that there's more to the story. Tommy is more than forthcoming about his imperfections, and if he has been truthful in his telling of the story, the state of the British justice system against those with politically unpopular beliefs is worrisome. It's so outrageous, some of this stuff - it's hard to believe. If it is actually true...

4) Finally, I really appreciate his story, and I hope it helps continue to grow the conversation that is much needed in the West. This book gives a view from the front lines, so to speak, of the culture war that stewing in Europe. On one side there are Europeans who are very Liberal (in the American sense) and want open borders, or who are simply afraid of being politically incorrect. On the other side you have Conservative Europeans who are concerned with a flood of immigrants who have no interest in assimilation, and who in fact are trying to change their host county to fit their worldview.

When that worldview is dominated by Sharia law, your country is going to have problems. And when those who speak up about it - those who _act_ up about it (e.g. T.Robinson) - are painted as extremists and racists then, well, you end up with a book like this.

It's a tough read, but I do recommend it. I read this book concurrently with "The Strange Death of Europe" by Douglas Murray. The two books each take a different tack to the same issue, and pair nicely together. Different tone, different language, but same issue.

Tommy Robinson is one of those people that is so controversial that saying their name can shock and horrify or impress people. His reputation is simply because he dares to question immigration and Islam. In reality, he's an everyday man and father who is trying to I found this book to be well written and you can hear Tommy Robinson speaking as you read the words. I enjoyed learning about his early life and about how he grew up. Robinson is honest and open about his various run ins with the law and his not so perfect past. I think his honesty in sharing his mistakes and owning them is a testament to his integrity. His past in the EDL isn't brush over and he admits many errors. He presents a very realistic and scary view of the changing face of England and how Islam is changing things for the worse. For a long time, he was a lone wolfing painted as an extremist. Now with the changing face of alternative media, people are learning that he was telling us the truth all along. This book was published in 2015 and continues to be relevant. As Robinson continues to be a working class hero and advocate for rape victims and other crime victims in England, he will continue to inspire and impress people. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in world events.

Enemy of the State is a disturbing description of one man's psychological waterboarding by the British state for the simple crime of telling the truth about the horrors that are increasingly taking place on the streets of our major cities. The book gives deep a insight into what motivates this remarkable working class Englishman. Whether you're on the left or right of the argument you will will be horrified by what Robinson has been through at the hands of the "establishment" and humbled by his honesty. The book is an account of his personal bravery, courage convictions and hard work, his love for his home town of Luton his friends(black and white), family and of course his country England.

Frightening, truly frightening book. A must read, especially if you do not live in an area of the UK that has this problem. (Many people don't). So are truly unaware of how serious the problem has become in some towns and even worse the prisons! A passionate and informative account.
Can also recommend watching the YouTube videos referred to in this book. They are evidencince to support his claims.

Islam is a threat to freedom!

After reading this book, I realized how serious the threat of Radical Islam is to our freedom and our way of life. Unfortunately, our politicians refuse to listen to ordinary people like us!

I'd forgotten how harrowing this book is. But it's must-read for anyone even remotely concerned about grooming gangs, free speech and the way your state can harass, torture and un-person you, simply for refusing to play along with the charade they've spun. Scary, eye-opening, hilariously funny in some parts, but devastating in others. This book should be for everyone, but alas it'll only ever gain traction among like-minded wrong-thinkers. Worth every minute spent reading this absolute rollercoaster of a ride.

Also...everyone needs a mate like Kevin in their lives!

Tommy Robinson is a controversial figure. For this reason, 'Enemy of the State' is notorious. Nobody reads it in public, fearing reprisal, which is why I resisted finding a copy. Fortunately, it's nothing to fear.

With this book, Mr. Robinson reveals himself to be overrated. He started public life as a hooligan, touring with a football firm. Thus, when demographics of his town began to change, he stuck with what he knew.

Frequently, Mr. Robinson explains what he did, why he did it, and why it was wrong - but never learns from his mistakes. He can only articulate a position with a punch, and thinks coppers intervene for no reason.

Before I read this book, I loathed the author. Having read it, I pity him. Honestly, I hope he never learns the error of his ways. I'd hate for him to recognise how much of his life he's wasted.

Tommy started off with the EDL with good intentions but appeared ill informed & came across as a "soccer thug" which is probably why he got into so much trouble with the authorities. The authorities should be ashamed of the harassment and treatment of Tommy & his family for trying to stick up for what he believed are fundamental cultural beliefs of the Britian, such as respecting our troops, being able to fly the British fag without repercussions & other aspects of Britons cultural identity that appears to be getting watered down with multiculturalism. Good for him for becoming informed about the Koran to be able to argue factually about how it is interpreted & debate it on an adult level.

Incredible insight into the globalist agenda and deep state at work trying to silence anyone with an alternative opinion to the mainstream brainwashing propaganda spewed from the likes of the BBC, C4 and now even Sky News which all appear to be government mouthpieces these days! News is now opinion and 'emoting' and not factual reporting. When Tommy argues with facts, he's silenced and thrown in prison for getting too close to what's really going on and for fear of the rest of us waking up to amongst other things this Trojan Horse of Islamic invasion.
Keep going Tommy you've got more people behind you than you think!

So many people want to hate Robinson and will paint him as everything except a child of God. But truth is he's far more well put together than he gets credit for. Robinson turns his sight towards the town he loves and has seen change through rampant political and legal mishandling. How Britain is turning in to a third world trash heap slowly by those who would take advantage of twisting the good will behind the concept of multiculturalism.

it's a hard pill to swallow.

But so is social marxism.

Okay, this book is not for the faint of heart. It brings up social issues pertinent for today and in places it is politically incorrect. It deals with a man who sees things happening around him and who has the internal strength to face those things. Those things being radical islam. He's been persecuted by the Crown. Been beaten bloody. Had death threats made against him by moslems. It is an eye opener for Western Civilization.

Hard hitting

It worries me rigid that thus man and his family have been treated like this, at no time does he try to make himself out to be perfect but did he really deserve this? When did we allow those people who are supposed to protect us, have this much power? Was all this in the interests of the British public, I think not..... However, we bloody well paid for them to take him to court every time, four them to arrest him every time... OBSCENE!!!
