Lydia has been a New Jersey resident her entire life. She now lives with her wife at the Jersey Shore and writing full time after years in the business industry. Years of writing stories for as long as she could remember, she decided to put her first book out in June of 2014.
I have to say, I didn't even make it to the end. The story felt like it had a step-by-step plot line, and so many problems with the characters, who were very thinly drawn. The writing is ok, but the story needed a lot more depth to give the characters motive, realism and agency. Unfortunately it felt like writing by the numbers.
Another great novel by Lydia Rose. I started reading and I just didn't want to put it down. I just loved how she portrayed Jill and Ashley. You will not be disappointed. If you get a chance read the rest of her novels they are very good. I haven't read any of her novels that I haven't liked. She is a very good author.
The story was fast pace but gave me the needed depth to be part of their romance. I love the fact that she is using actual TV shows to set the environment. Love it and love Lydia's writing style.
I enjoyed the story, but found the characters a bit shallower than in Ms Rose's other books that I have read. It probably has to do with the shorter length.
