Nothing different

The author claimed this to be THE book to solve your problems. Nope, no different than any of the others I've looked at. I am not having any problems, I just want to use my Echo to the fullest degree.
The book had many typos, first chapter was Corona instead of Cortana, if you are going to self publish you need to edit. Here is another glaring mistake... often enough, people have put the device on mute, forgotten about it, and then when th
ey come back the Echo’s power is drained. So it’s always good to be mindful of this...
As far as I know it can't be drained, it's always plugged in.
I have nothing against a self published book, I have read many, The Martian for one, I just would like some editing before putting it out there, read it out loud if need be. All in all this is very helpful but the others are too.

Nearly as basic as the user guide

The book just didn't provide any tips I felt were worthwhile. Everything addressed is in the user guide or faq and it simply summarized much of this info. What's worse is it often cuts details short which is the real reason for the one star as it could have been ok for very basic nontechnical users. Only good part about this book is that you can borrow it free as a prime member.

Q&A...

This book is set up in a question and answer format. Helpful questions, helpful answers. If you would prefer to simply read about your new Echo, the style is a bit different. If you are already set with the basics and are troubleshooting then this book is quite useful.

There are few things in this book that you couldn't figure out yourself.

If you don't like experimenting then you may find this book useful. Otherwise just play with you Echo and learn it on your own.

Nonsensical claptrap

The cover should have been warning enough. Why would anyone have 3 Echos?
Sad that someone would stoop to paying for bunch of fraudulent 5-star reviews so they can sell their recycled/plagiarized "book" to an unsuspecting public.
