Audio book was good, with same readers as the other books in the series.
Wren and Bella. They had a fling and have thought about each other ever since. They meet again and he finds out she is an FBI agent. No biggie. She is however working the same case that the wolves are.. to apprehend whoever is in charge of the female slavery ring. Is Fischer involved?
I really liked both MCs but felt that their romance was rushed too much because the author chose this book to wrap up the bad guys etc.

Wren and Bella bring the Wolves of the Rising Sun series to a close with a wild, emotional ride that felt like the perfect send-off. Their chemistry has been simmering in the background for a while, and I loved seeing them finally step into the spotlight. The attraction is obvious from the very beginning, and it was so satisfying watching them realize they were meant for each other all along. Their bond felt earned, their journey intense, and their connection gave this final chapter the punch it needed to end the series on a high.

I’ll admit there’s one little detail at the end that I wasn’t totally on board with—but it’s a spoiler, so I won’t get into it. That said, it didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed the book or the series as a whole. Wren and Bella’s story had the perfect blend of passion, urgency, and heart to tie everything together. This series has been such a fun, spicy escape with just the right amount of paranormal drama—and this last book definitely delivered.

The last

TR his one is the last in the series at least I think at the time of writing there is no more...
A lot of lose ends were tied up in this book but I got confused at the end I'm sure that a name was misspelled as another character. Anyway this one was good to bring the series together to finish it off the way it did. Guilty I have read the whole series in less than a week whoops.

Bella is trying to hunt down information on her fellow FBI agent. Seems that the rogue FBI agent maybe the leader of the human trafficking ring. Bella is working with Wren to try to put all the pieces together. When the pieces do get put together – the picture is not what they were expecting. This was an exciting end to this story line.

Good

On my gosh, Bella had such a sad story, what lousy parents, I want to shake them silly for her, maybe it would have gotten some sense knocked into them. So glad she and Wren found each other.

Awesome storyline FBI agent following leads that get her in a heap of trouble. He is after the same lead. Action, drama, plot is revealed and boy bullets fly. Happy ever after in the end.

Wren and bella

Last book this one felt short they are short reads and I might of skipped a page or two (sex it got old) but it still felt shorter.
Being this is the last book it would of been nice to see more get togethers, so I felt cheated at the end.

What a neat ending. It rapped everything up and tied with a bow. I love when the ending is this smooth and answers all the questions.

Wren: Wolves of the Rising Sun #7

Reviewed by SFF Dragon

An absolutely fantastic finale to the series with Wren and Bella fighting the bad guys and winning their HEA. I loved it.

I absolutely love the action packed Wolves of the Rising Sun series by Kenzie Cox and am somewhat sad that 'Wren' the seventh book in the series is also the last one. Well written in the first person with the POV changing between the two main characters, this book is also part of the multi-author Mating Season Collection of stand alone paranormal romance short stories and novellas. I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review and I really couldn't put it down. I devoured it in one sitting and absolutely loved it.

Wolf shifter and part-owner of the Bayou Hidden Resort, Wren Davenne spent two separate nights with Bella a couple of weeks ago and now he can't stop thinking about her. His wolf knows she's his mate, but then he discovered that she's an FBI agent working on the human trafficking case. He is not a happy wolf.

Bella Stone has an ugly past which is about to catch up with her and although she really wants to belong to someone who'll love her forever, be part of a family who'll care, and she knows that someone is Wren, she's desperately trying not to get involved with him while she's investigating the human trafficking ring that kidnapped his sister-in-law and trying to catch Fischer, another FBI agent she believes has gone rogue and is a big part of the ring. But fate has other ideas and they're thrown together by a promising lead, courtesy of Ryker, the go-to guy for anything and everything, leader of the Dragons of Decatur, and the unofficial Robin Hood of New Orleans.

I really don't want to give any spoilers but this fantastic finale to the series has some really great characters, both old and new, as well as unexpected twists and turns with a revelation or two. And Bella's ugly past....no contest, she absolutely did the right thing. It has humour, action, steamy bits and the happily ever after we all expect with Wren, who described himself as the last one standing unmated, falling head over heels and getting a happily ever after with his true mate, Bella. Although this book is written as a stand alone and can easily be read as one, the story thread carries over from the two previous books and I think you'd get more out of this one if you read those first. I loved Ryker and now I'm hoping there'll be a series about the Dragons.

Wren by Kenzie Cox
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
I am kinda sad to see the end of the pack’s books but am really excited to read some of the dragon books. I gotta admit Ryker made me sit up and take notice…..LOL
This story is wrapping up the FBI case of the trafficking ring. Bella is an agent who happened to have warmed the bed of Wren on occasion. The couple connected but she had a job to do and he wasn’t looking for long term. When she stumbles into his packs housing, he is happy to see her but stunned to learn she is an agent. Bella is happy to see him and also stunned that Wren and his family are involved in this nasty business.
The story is full of twists and turns with chasing down agent Fischer/Shade. We are finding out that all is not what we thought it was and that there are more bad guys then we first thought involved. I loved the story line of the bad guys and how Wren and Bella played a part in it. I kinda felt that their love story took a bit of a back seat to the bad guy story. When we did get some Wren/Bella time they were all over each other and trying to figure out what they wanted out of the other.
I am going to miss my short novella’s from the pack but hope to see them pop up in the new series.

I was given an ARC of "Wren" from the author, in exchange for an honest review.

At first I didn't want to start reading 'Wren' I'm a little sad because I learnt that this is the final book in the "Wolves of the Rising Sun" series. But I just HAD to read it, & I devoured it quickly, instantly drawn into the story.

A chance meeting, a fiery night, left Wren's wolf feeling empty, but he's unable to search for the women who caused it, he has to find the people responsible for the kidnapping of women in his hometown. That is until he bumps into her again.... FBI agent Bella, has turned to the dragon's to help solve her most difficult case yet, leaving her meeting she bumps into the wolf who makes her feel whole....

EVERYTHING in this was put together so well, it made me feel like I too was helping Wren & Bella solve the case. Lets not forget the way these two interract with one another, WOW! I will say Kenzie has now left me wondering about a certain dragon & the clan keeping the city safe.

Wren is book 7 in Kenzie's "Wolves of the Rising Sun" series, which in turn is a part of the "Mating Season" pack series. A set of books from 6 authors, 6 different packs & an individuals story on finding their mate. I'm very sad that this is the last novella from Kenzie's "Wolves of the Rising Sun" I've really enjoyed EVERYTHING in this series & the "Mating Season" collection.

WOW! What a wrap up!
Wren finds his happy ever after in Bella, but they have quite the adventure first. With all the Davenne boys, except Wren, happily mated the most urgent matter becomes finding Shade and taking him down along with the human trafficking ring that tried to take Hannah and hurt Thea. Of course guess who gets put on the case…Bella! Wren can’t believe he runs into Bella while getting info on Shade, he’s wanted her ever since they had a fling two weeks ago, but even though she wants him she feels she needs to stay professional about the case, now she just needs to convince herself of that! What happens instead is they start working together on it, but when it comes right down to it they find that not everyone is who they seem and it almost costs Bella her life, good thing Wren has connections so he can save her in the nick of time…. what more could you want, sexy, gorgeous, wolf and pretty much a personal super hero. I’m a great fan of the mating season and admittedly Wolves of the Rising Sun has been one of my favorite series in, great storyline, unforgettable characters and totally swoon worthy heroes (and the heroines are pretty cool too)!

Sadly this is the final book in the Wolves of the Rising Sun series. I've loved this series of hot alphas and the women who bring them to their knees!

Wren and Bella had a few hot nights of passion and then she turned up on packland he found out she was a fed!! Now she's still poking around in pack business, she's trying to find out Fishers involvement in the human trafficking ring that almost got Thea.

we finally get to meet the kingpin of the organisation and just what Fisher has been upto. Is he the mole or deep undercover as he keeps saying he is? I also loved the wee glimpse of a certain crew of dragons - please tell me this is another series?!?!?!

Brilliant, story, engaging characters and wonderfully written passionate encounters!!!

Wow! This short story had thrilling twists and revelations throughout the whole thing. Kenzie Cox does an amazing job of making a story move fast without skipping over any of the details that help it make a big impression. Bella and Wren's story was complex and fast. I loved that the story felt complete to me even after how fast it moved. I didn't feel like anything was missing at all. I very much enjoyed Wren and Bella, especially Bella. The way her past came to infiltrate her present situation was astonishing. More than once, I was completely caught off guard reading this. I was very satisfied with how all the other short stories connected to it. This is a great series. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wren: Wolves of the Rising Sun #7 (The Mating Season Collection)
by Kenzie Cox

Wren has a couple of great nights with a woman named Bella, then she is gone. He is surprised to run into her at the motorcycle shop called Dragons of Decatur. The shop is run by Ryker Jamison, who is known as the Robin Hood of New Orleans. He has his thumb an the pulse of New Orleans, knows all that is going on in his town. Why Bella is there Wren doesn't know, but he plans to find out....right after he gets some information from Ryker.

Bella is surprised to Wren again. Then to find out that they are both investigating the same thing is another surprise. Things start to heat up between them again, but Bella has a job to do before she can really concentrate on anything else.

This one is about FBI agent Bella stone. She has a small part at the end of the last book in the series.

Wren and his wolf is head over heels for Bella. She is on the same mission as Wren is so they team up to find out who us running the human trafficking ring and if FBI Agent Fischer is guilty as he seem or not.

I love the action on this. Lots of mystery and let's not forget the spicy hot scenes. It's a great balance of spicy, mystery and action, I love all 3 in a story. The storyline is great, the characters are fantastic and so easy to connect to.

Don't miss this shifter fans! You will NOT be disappointed!

Book gifted for an honest review and I honestly loved it.

I was given an ARC of "Wren" from the author, in exchange for an honest review.
Wren is book 7 in the series and is also the last one in The Wolves of the Rising Sun by Kenzie Cox and part of the Amazing Mating Season Collection. This the story of wolf Wren Davenne, co-owner of the Bayou Hidden Resort and dark-haired beauty with a bad past FBI Agent Bella Stone. NO SPOILERS here but I will say it's a very well written short novella with a lot of romance, sex, action, bad guys, good guys and full of twist! I really enjoyed these stories a lot and I'm hoping for dragon shifters on to the next set.

I really liked this book and thought it was a great way to end this series. Everything that has been happening in the previous books has lead up to the events in this book. We discover if a certain someone is friend or foe, who else has been involved, and of course a blossoming romance with steamy interluldes.

The books in this series read quickly and are very enjoyable. I think this series is best read in order, at the least start with Craved. This is an enjoyable series!

One Twist After Another

Kenzie Cox knows how to spin a tale. There are more plot twist in each of the Wolves of the Rising Sun books than you can imagine. Just when you think you know who the bad guys are wham another twist. The entire series has been wonderful. I hope there are more books to come with both packs involved. At the least I'd live to read a book about how everything turned out for all the Wolves and their mates.
