This is a recommended book to read for some deeper understanding on Heart Sutra, especially the concept of emptiness, which is often mistaken as nihilsm.

However, this is a translated version. Across the texts there were terms that were interesting translated terms, which makes me wonder of the original terms being used in the original version. I also wonder how the reading experience would have been should I be reading the original version since there seem to be quite numerous bold highlight as well as footnotes by the translator/editor.

Overall, I would still recommend this for reference in understanding Heart Sutra.
